decently priced and quick service. Kids and wife loved the ban chan. My sons loved the multiple fried chicken wings. Kid friendly place.

The wings were alright and the Beef Ramen I tried was surprisingly good, but the amount given overall wasn’t worth the price paying for.

had a ridiculous craving for korean tonight so I stopped across the street to LOL. I got the beef tofu soup and the bulgogi. I figured it would be eh since it’s in this teensy plaza and it started off with korean chicken but it’s actually not bad at all! I would totally order it again on the fly and it comes with a ton of sides.

Made reservations for a big party and my experience here was amazing! The staff is very hospitable. Made us feel very welcome and responded to our needs immediately. The food was great with little to no wait. We had a variety of all the flavored and the Soy Garlic was my personal favorite. I’m surprised this place hasn’t picked up more hype since it’s as good as its competitors(Bön Chon/99). Also, yummy Soju, so win win! Would definitely recommend! :)

Delicious, great waiter, Saturday night not too busy. Spicy lol sauce and soy garlic wings are good. Not as crispy as Bonchon but not in a bad way. Salad is cabbage, corn and thousand island. I like it, my lady wasn’t into it. In general their dishes are on the spicy side but not horribly spicy. Kimchi fried rice is nice(better than To-Bang’s. Although I hate to say that.)

they didn’t want to give me a side dish togo, even tho they gave it away for free with the mean, I wanted to buy some togo but they didn’t want to sell it either. Then I ask if I can get another dish then, and the guy said no, Wtf? Then I said let me buy some more then and he said it’s not for sale. WTF!?! SMH… poor customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Unexpected find in San Jose! I’ve been craving chicken wings and this restaurant came up on my Unilocal search along with Bön Chon chicken. I’m glad that we chose to check this location out because I was very pleased with everything we ordered. Soy Garlic Chickens were my favorite! I could eat it all day… the spicy LOL chickens were good, but not comparable to the soy garlic ones. The seafood pancake was thick and soft. I would’ve like it to be a bit crisper though. Overall, great service and delicious Korean food. Head over to Tmate after for boba/dessert! It’s in the same plaza.

First of all the name… cracks me up for some reason. Anyway, the chicken wings are pretty tasty here. Last time I went in to order lunch for some coworkers and I, we tried the soy garlic and honey lemon. I preferred the soy garlic, but they were both equally as good. You can also order some appetizers(more like sides really). My favorite of course being the onion rings. I’m a sucker for those. I like the fact that they aren’t afraid to make their chicken too crispy. It all comes down to preference, but I like a bit of crunch to my chicken wings. The inside is well kept and clean and in a similar fashion to wingstop they have a TV for you to watch if your into sports or whatever. Overall I really like this place. It’s a great little spot to go with friends or coworkers and just chat about your day over some wings and drinks.

I’ve never been into chicken wings, but I doooo love Asian chicken wings! Customer service = 10⁄10! The staff are always happy to see customers come in. I always get seated right away and never have to wait, which is always a good thing! My order is always taken fairly quickly and ban chan(side dishes) is always served immediately after they take our order. Although they don’t have a lot of options when it comes to their ban chan, it’s okay with me because they have my favorite… FISHCAKE! :) And sometimes they even offer complimentary dishes! Food = 9⁄10. Although I’ve tried all the flavors here, the only one I’d ever get again would be the soy garlic! The LOL flavor is just too sweet/sour for me and the lemon pepper(?) just tastes like Wingstop, but not as flavorful. I LOVE their beef tofu soup. Sometimes I just come here just for that. Other = They’ve got these little finger gloves that go on your pointer finger and thumb to avoid the messiness of eating wings. I was super excited about it when I came here for the first time because I’ve never seen anything like it. Lol I’m so lame… haha.

Came with a few friends hoping to get some a good bite in after work. My friend and I shared medium wings(spicy soy garlic and LOL), beef tofu soup, garlic fries, and kimchi fried rice.(Yes we love to eat). My other friends shared medium wings(soy garlic and LOL) and combination tofu soup. We also shared a soju. The spicy soy garlic was not spicy and the kimchi fried rice had string bean, peas, and corn in it. It seemed like they used one of those frozen vegetable packets and just seemed off. The garlic fries were also not infused with the garlic flavor. Our total bill came out to $ 90 and for $ 90, I think we should’ve gotten way better food. Nothing was outstanding and I was kind of disappointed to be honest. I most likely wouldn’t come back because of the quality of food vs. the price. If it was cheaper, I would not have minded, but it was expensive for what we ate.

Came here around 2:30pm and it was completely empty. We were greeted and seated right away. Ordered the medium wings(12 wings — 2 flavors $ 17.99). You can choose from honey lemon, spicy soy garlic, soy garlic, LOL, and spicy LOL. LOL is a Korean sweet/spicy/tangy flavor. We decided to get LOL and spicy soy garlic. The order comes with rice and a side salad. The side salad came out first… chopped cabbage topped with corn and a dressing that reminded me a mix of thousand island/mayo. Nothing special. bland. Mm. I liked the corn. The wings and rice came afterwards. The«bowl» of rice was more like 3 scoops of rice in a small cup. O_O … The wings/drumsticks are definitely smaller than most places. The spicy soy garlic was flavorful. You can definitely taste the seasoning. The LOL on the other hand was disappointing. It did not remind me of the korean spicy/sweet flavor. I felt like I was eating spaghetti. It was like eating the tomato sauce. super tomato sauce based. The wings were drenched with the super overpowering tomato flavor. The dish also came with just two dukbokki(korean rice cake) —(one for each flavor). Overall, I just enjoyed the spicy soy garlic flavor. I wanted to try this place to see how it compared to the other Korean fried chicken places. After trying LOL chicken, I like 99 chicken /bonchon better.

FOOD — Combo 2(Medium = 12 pieces, 1 appetizer, 1 soju or 2 beers): – Chicken: We were able to choose 2 flavors. We went with spicy soy garlic and original. I also mooched off my friend’s chicken. They ordered the LOL sauce and the honey lemon. The chicken itself was okay. It could have been seasoned better. The chicken wasn’t dry or moist. My favorite sauce was the spicy soy garlic. It also came with 2 pieces of fried rice cakes, which tasted chewy and flavorless. 3.5÷5 – Calamari appetizer: small portion of calamari rings. Well seasoned and tender. 3.5÷5 – Peach Yogurt Soju: delicious! 5⁄5 — Seafood Ramen: spicy ramen with shrimp, squid, soft crab, scallops, and seaweed and veggies. The best dish from this dinner. 5⁄5 — Spicy Rice Cake: Rice cakes, fish cake and veggies, sprinkled with black sesame seeds. This was pretty disappointing. The rice cake did not marinate the sauce too well. I ate a few pieces and gave up on it. I did enjoy the fish cake, especially since I didn’t have any as a side dish. 2⁄5 — Corn Cheese: the corn was undercooked and lacked flavor and sweetness. It was also not mixed well. I bit into a chunk of mayonnaise which you made me want to throw up a little. 2⁄5 — Sides & salad were good. 4⁄5 SERVICE Friendly and attentive. 4⁄5 FINALTHOUGHTS: I would come back for their ramen and maybe try some of their other dishes.

I thought it would get better over time but I guess not. The first time I went was to try it out, but the other times I was dragged by my friends or my family. The wings are still the same. Still overly sweet. I REALLY wanted to give them a good review, hoping my experience would be better but it wasn’t. Last time I had good customer service, this time I had OKAY customer service. I’m not upset that I didn’t get good customer service, I’m upset that I saw my server give someone else BADCUSTOMERSERVICE and acted like a total douchebag. Our server was a young Korean guy with glasses who plasters on fake smiles. An old man came in because he was hungry and the server asked him«for here or Togo?» The old confused guy just said he wanted food. So the server yells but with an annoyed smile and face, «FORHEREORTOGO?» He repeated it in a way where he belittled the poor old confused man. Me and my boyfriend shook our head, I felt so bad for that poor old man. On top of the whole experience the seasoned fries were frozen curly fries. Like seriously? I’m the potato queen I know my fries. If I wanted frozen I would’ve went to jack in the box, at least it’s priced fairly. 6 bucks for frozen fries. Super disappointed. I’m seriously never coming back. If that server wasn’t such a pretentious prick, I would come back maybe. Ok probably not!

I’m a fan of Korean fried chicken from Bön chon and 99 chicken, but those places are too far from my house where as LOL is really close by so I finally decided to give it a try. It is not fast pace like wing-stop where you walk in and stand and stare up at a menu to order, but instead it’s a place where you’re greeted when you open the door and then seated at a table and given menus. I really wanted to like this place especially because our server(I think his name was Dong Min) was so great! He helped explain things on the menu, suggested items for us, constantly came back to check on us, and was overall really, really nice. However the food here was just okay and pretty overpriced for what you get. We went with a medium order(12 pieces, 2 flavors, $ 16.99) and had the spicy LOL and the honey lemon. Wings were not as crispy as I hoped for and look for in Korean fried chicken. The spicy LOL would be the better flavor in my opinion. The honey lemon was not what we expected… I guess we were thinking it was going to be glazed in some type of honey lemon sauce but it was actually dry with no sauce and the flavor was just in the batter of the chicken I guess, but it tastes pretty plain. It came with a side of rice and a side of salad(I like that it has corn in it). The meal comes with 6 other sides, didn’t know half of them, but the three we knew and ate was jep chae noodles, potatoes, and some type of sweet meat thing. We also tried the hot soft tofu w/ramen, medium spicy. I normally am a spicy person, but the medium here was definitely enough spice. It came with a side of rice and an egg to crack in. The ramen noodles were no different than top ramen do it yourself at home kind of thing, but the tofu was good so I think we enjoyed this dish most.

I would say that I am a self proclaimed Korean fried chicken snob. I used to live right by all of the yummy chicken joints on El Camino and I was really spoiled with all of the extra crispy and flavor chicken. LOL wasn’t terrible, it just wasn’t my favorite. I came in with a party of 3 and we split a medium with spicy soy garlic and honey lemon. The chicken itself tasted great and it was both juicy and crispy. Off to a great start, however the sauces were so bland. They had no real distinct flavor or spiciness to them. It is on the pricier side compared to most other chicken joints. I would probably come back here if I was really hungry and I was in the area. However, I would definitely only order the spicy soy garlic.

I’ve heard a lot about this place and I was finally able to try it out. My friends and I came here for an early dinner(5:30pm) on a Friday night. There was no wait and the place was almost empty. We were seated right away and we our dilemma of what to order came next. We weren’t sure whether we wanted our own thing or to share. But after some discussion, we ended up ordering the Combo 1 which came with the large chicken with 18 pieces and 3 flavors, two appetizers(we got the LOL fried dduk and garlic fries), and alcohol(your choice of beer/soju). There were also a complimentary side salad, which was super small for the four of us. Our sides came first and it was literally ten pieces of the fried dduk as it was written on the menu(talk about being precise). The garlic fries and the chicken came shortly after along with some rice and pickled veggies on the side. The presentation was pretty nice. For the chicken, we got the three sauces they offered: LOL, Soy Garlic, and Honey Lemon. To be honest, the chicken aren’t that special. It’s not something to write home about. They were really just okay. I did like the LOL sauce the best though. The Soy Garlic and Honey Lemon were nothing special. They weren’t bad, but not exactly all that special. I’ve definitely had much better Korean fried chicken in the South Bay area. Overall, I don’t think I would come back again because it’s only okay. It’s nothing special. Maybe their other food(not the fried chicken) are good, but I don’t know. The service was good and the server was super nice, but the food was very average.

Alright there’s good news. ANDTHEREISSHITNEWS. THEGOODNEWS: Me and two other friends bought a medium for $ 17.99, 12 pieces. We got the LOL and Spicy Soy Garlic flavors. The price was alright, came with free side of rice OR salad and we got good rice, the service is alright, our waiter came by frequently and seemed thoughtful, and the Spicy Soy Garlic chicken was SUPERGOOD. Second to 99 Chicken, better than bonchon. The LOL flavor is basically the original korean style fried chicken with sweet and spicy red sauce, but 99 and bonchon both take the cake compared to this place. For the soy garlic, I’d give this 4 stars. The LOL deserves 3. I’d round up to 4 for closeness of the place. THEBADNEWSANDWHY I DEDUCTEDTHREESTARS: So I’m eating some chicken towards the end of the meal and suddenly my mouth says stop chewing. I spat the piece out and it was pink. The spot on the bone where I got it from? Bright. Fucking. Red. I told the waiter and the seemingly manager, they told me it was how the tendon piece is naturally and it was definitely cooked since they double-fried. Now, I have double-fried some korean fried chicken myself before – definitely never comes out as red as this. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt and left them a small tip regardless. Later we looked it up and it was not the tendon piece. It was not cooked. It was RAWASHELL. And I took an excuse they pulled out of their ass to save themselves from compensating me. Not to mention that it didn’t take long for our stomachs to get upset an hour after. Yes, this place is close. Yes, their soy garlic chicken flavor is amazing. But raw chicken is a deal breaker. Better off getting bonchon and 99, people.

This place is awesome! We ordered a shit load of food, and I couldn’t stop eating until we finished it all! We had the LOL chicken, LOL spicy chicken, bulgogi beef, and corn cheese! Everything was excellent, and fairly priced. All the dishes came with a side of rice, and we had unlimited sides of veggies, kimchi, noodles, etc.(typical Korean restaurant sides). The corn cheese is a must! It’s the perfect blend of creamy, sweet, and salty.

Finally had a chance to try this place. It’s no Bön Chon, but its okay. After this initial visit I now know what to order for next time. We ordered a Medium plate of chicken which comes with 12 pieces, 2 flavors. Both flavors come with fried rice cake toppings, yum. LOL spicy — It’s amsweet and sour sauce. This glaze is overpowering. It has so much flavor that when you take a bite you can’t taste the chicken, all you can taste is the sauce. It’s more sweet than anything else. Not good. Soy Garlic — I liked how this was more of a glaze than a sauce compared to the LOL, but it didn’t taste like garlic. It tasted more like a sweet soy glaze. Appetizer: Spicy Rice cake with fish cake. It was okay, but I’m glad we ordered it to give our taste buds a break from all the sweetness of the wings. Also, ordered the Peach yogurt soju, can’t go wrong with this.
