Walgreens

The staff here is helpful when you can find a staff member. I wouldn’t say they are the most friendly or alert but if you need help they try. This store is always out of stock in what I need and is overpriced compared to other convenience stores like Walmart or cvs.

Walgreens is clean, fully shelved with goodies but pricey.
they even carry chinese newspaper but was out of Tsing Tao

Zero respect for business that does not respect itself. If you think you are above others and therefore don’t need to update your business hours, you are wrong. Unfortunately, we ran into a crisis situation and relied on Unilocal to find their closing time on Sunday. Per Unilocal,it closed at 10 on Sunday, but when we reached the store at 9 :15, they were already closed. We wasted our precious time driving here when we could have used that time to go to another place that had a pharmacy.

The Pharmacy at this location is extremely horribly managed, the manager and worst of all their pharmacy staff are not professional nor helpful~ they’ve delayed my mother’s prescriptions for two days and worst thing is not only they BS without admit their overlooked or mistake but made up excuses like they don’t receive doctor’s replied them back of the refill authority which I’ve had double checked with my doctor earlier and told he already faxed over to Walgreen earlier that day. I end up have to fill them multiple times which I should have them transferred to another Walgreen in the first place. this had reached the level of absurdity. I’ve called/​stopped by multiple times and it is still not ready!!! It’s a shame because this place is really close to my house. I can not agree more to the other poor guy who wrote a review as shown below that he had been treated the same Like Ive been treated today… Save yourself the frustration, use a different location Walgreens. This Walgreen pharmacy by far the worst of all that I’ve ever been with. I’ll never come back and will tell all my friends and families don’t go there. I wish I can read those reviews to this same location earlier so that I’ll know this pharmacy already has very bad review ! I wish those staff can improve their service attitude and profession knowledge from their customers feedback.

I had to get my passport pictures done here. They use a cheap 5+ year old digital camera with a flash that doesnt work well. They rely on the store florescent lights, which is not enough and creates shadows on the face. I just got my passport and the photo is horrible. I think i paid 12 bucks for two pictures. I should have gone to a photo studio.
Also, on another visit to this store, I used the restroom. There is a huge sign that says employees must wash hands, but there wasnt any soap in the dispenser.

This is solidly for their service.
1. Its either there are too many workers working that follow you around as if you’re going to rob them.
2. At times there isnt anyone working; only like 1 person, in which is the cashier to ask for help.
3. Cashiers need to be retrained, they struggle for returns.
4. The manager or assistant managers are super MEAN. I dont know her name, but i glanced at her name tag signifying shes an assistant manager and actually started yelling at the register guy in front of me. MY BAD, i guess she had to teach him a lesson, but i mean. in front of customers? How unprofessional
5. Manager didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience. If i go again and see her; i will notify corporate about her work ethics.

Friendly staff.

#95. My go-​to Walgreens. But it isn’t flawless.
There are two main reasons why I come here.
— Clipper. I use BART, VTA, and the Muni, so I need to reload my Clipper card. By the way, that is totally a good investment if you use public transit a lot. If it isn’t Clipper, then I’m here for
— Redbox. That’s how I get my dosage of film. If there’s no line, it usually takes me two minutes tops to go in, grab a movie, and get out. Efficient and impressive!
— Item availability. This only happens with items on sale because the good products are out pretty fast. So by the time I get there, they’re out. The downside of a smaller Walgreens location… well, you know now.
— Convenience. I am always able to park right in front of the store. Every time. And there’s never a hoard of people inside (unless you’re Redboxing on a Friday night), which brings me to my last point about
— Service. This really isn’t that difficult, considering the amount of (or technically, lack of) people that go in and out of this place. I’ve been standing idly at the register a few times because there wasn’t someone there to ring me up. That shouldn’t be constantly happening.
I’d still come back to this Walgreens if I needed something last-​minute. Location trumps a lot!

The lady was constantly stalking us, as if we were going to rob them! Me and my friends were just buying ice cream and we had big bags because that’s the new fad now, and she thought we were going to take stuff. Atleast talk to us about it, instead of rudely talk smack about us loud to other workers! We heard her too. Never going there again.

Pretty damn convenient for snacks drinks. Neighborhood corner store.

Really convenient, close to my house. Always clean. I think the staff could be a little friendlier and smile.

I do love this store I just barely pass by it, especially with CVS on the way out. I do love the service and how clean it is. I have never had a problem. Just your typical Walgreens.

I like the fact that this Walgreens is so close to home, but that’s about it.
One time I came into this Walgreens 15 minutes before closing. The employees were rushing us from the moment we walked in to finish up our shopping even though we had plenty of time. We grabbed what we needed and were at the registers 5 minutes before closing time. We were going to pay with an ATM card and when he rung us up the ATM machine at the register was no longer working. The employee said, «See, I told you that you had to hurry up.» We didn’t have any cash, so we left with no items even though we were in before closing and at the registers before closing. Why would they shut down the ATM machine before all the customers were out and paid? This was extremely frustrating and the employee’s there are rude.

This location is hidden in the Evergreen Square shopping center. There’s plenty of parking and the staff here are generally pretty friendly. May in the pharmacy is great! She knows you by name and truly cares.
$ 4.99 for a gallon of Horizon Organic milk is a deal!
The one complaint I have about this location is that the two garbage cans right outside of the entrance are always overflowing with trash.

Workers there are usually friendly, and you can find some good deals if you look for them. Make sure to use those coupons in their ads and Sunday ads!
If you like Haribos gummy bears, right now (ends ¹⁰⁄₂), they are $ 0.69 each! My brother and i got six bags =D

This place is a little hidden up on the Evergreen hillside.
The place is like any other Walgreens except a lot less traffic. The store is very clean and the people are just as helpful.
All in all I recommend this place if you are in the area and in need of stuff you would find at a Walgreens.

It’s never suuper busy, and the place is always well stocked and very clean. The workers are nice and really helpful too!
I had to get some photos printed out in a hurry, and they were nice enough to get them printed asap!

Pharmacy department review only:
The pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are absolutely, positively the nicest and most attentive I’ve come across.
I pick up different medications for my family, and I have to deal with all these insurance issues. I got fed up at Longs Drugs, and then I found this place. Unlike my experience at Longs, I don’t have to call around and play phone tag with everyone; Walgreens does it for me! Whether I need authorization for a medication, switched insurances, or have some dispute over payments, the staff here always takes care of it. They’re always so friendly in person and on the phone (even at 8 a.m.). Also, my meds are cheaper here than at Longs Drugs.

I love this Walgreens location. It’s always so clean and organized. It is located in the Evergreen Village Square — in the smack middle of a very quaint and charming neighborhood (mine). lol.
The staff is very nice and know me by face already. Even the Pharmacists know my whole life story. It really gives me a sense of belonging here. Like when you watch movies and people go into stores in a small town and everyone greets each other by first name.
Also check out the dude, Santosh, at the cash register. He has a 6^th thumb!
