They never have any bread in stock!!! Super frustrating to pick a local business on multiple occasions only to find out they are out of stock… Supply and demand is how you lose customers… These aren’t Yeezys or Warrior tickets… its bagels and croissants… Guess I have to keep going to Starbucks. Bummer. FYI I have gone around 8 or 9 am on multiple occasions and they are out which is fairly early tbh.

Delicious food worth the wait. Got a Bacon, chicken, mushroom and cheese crêpe with a Greek salad on the side. Lady behind the counter also apologized for the wait time, which was nice.

food is good but customer service… i was literally standing in front of the cash register for a good 5 min with no acknowledgement of me being there. the woman making crepes looked at me 3 times — no smile, no «we’ll be right with you» . i get it you guys are busy but with 5 employees right in front of a customer knowing she’s been waiting for a while, at least say«we’ll be right with you» or something! i never ignore a customer no matter how busy we are at work! its the acknowledgement that matters & letting the customers feel welcome! too bad these employees have none of those manners.

Delicious! I got a ham and cheese crêpe which comes with pesto spread on top(soooooo good). Husband got a bacon and egg breakfast sandwich. It was very fresh tasting. They toasted the croissant on the crêpe pan :)

Our new favorite place for breakfast! Crepes are very delicious. We don’t eat meat, so ordered Seafood delight and Shrimp pesto and they was so good. We are recommend this place for breakfast or brunch. But to slowly 1,5 hours for lane+order received in morning

I’m a fan of this bustling coffee shop on a Sunday morning. Nice clean interior with limited seating. Customers filtered in and out for a relaxing yet quick crêpe stop. I got the Classic crêpe with mushrooms cheese chicken and spinach(7.95 $). My friend got the Super Crêpe with ham cheese tomatoes and eggs(8.95 $.) Both were fresh and delicious. Comes with choose of fruit, pasta, Greek salad, or steamed veggies. The fruit comes with six chunks of fresh pineapple watermelon and cantaloupe. I’ll have to try their sweet crepes next time.

Despite the food tasting delicious. I suggest to you about thinking twice about going here. Today as waited for my friend to arrive, I saw a rat pass by a lady and climbing up the walls… I was not the only one to react to the rat, other customers screamed at the sight of the rat. And to add to why I’m putting a bad review is that the workers did not do anything about the rat, they did not get rid of it or tried to calm down their customers. They just stood there not reacting much to it. I do not hate Frodo Joes, but I think they need to get that place cleaned. I should not be seeing a rat anywhere since it’s a café/restaurant where people eat.

I LOVE this place! It first caught my attention because of the cute Pug mascot on their sign but I had a ton of friends rave about their delicious crepes so I had to look for myself. I’ve had savory and sweet crepes and they are AMAZING! The staff and owner are super friendly and cool so I try and stop in as often as I can. This is a cozy cute little café that will knock your tastebuds out! I love their Hawaiian Crêpe and often enjoy it with a watermelon ice tea! Frodos, y’all are the best!

Frodo Jo’s is awesome! I always saw it on Unilocal but one day finally decided to take a closer look. Oh! The place with the pug! It’s right around the corner of our house. I didn’t realize it was such a hit. The staff here are always very friendly. They’re hard working and making the food and drinks in front of you. I love their food options. I’ve been trying a different crêpe each time and I haven’t been disappointed. They average about $ 8 a crêpe which isn’t bad. I recommend their pasta salad on the side, its so good! All their crepes come with a side of pesto sauce. Their breakfast sandwich is also fresh but doesn’t come with a side. That’s about $ 6. I do wish their bread for the sandwiches were toasted though. They also have a wide variety of drinks. I’ve been trying all their smoothies and haven’t been disappointed yet. They also have a stamp card which is always awesome since I come so much. And if your the type to lose yours, you can just keep it there in their card library! My only qualm about this place is that it’s only opened till the afternoon. I can never come here on a weekday when I’m off work or when I’m finally craving a dessert crêpe. But it’s a neighborhood gem.

Wowzaaa … So good. Got the bacon avocado $ 7.95 and added chicken Apple sausage $ 3.25 … best ingredient combo ever. Massive and stuffed, I was so full from it but we had to try the sweet crêpe $ 6.95 fresh strawberries with nutella, raspberry sauce and ice cream(or fruit) side with it. Pretty affordable for the portion. Staff are friendly and service is pretty quick. We went on a Saturday at 9am so we were able to get a table but if you go during regular brunch times, its impossible to get a table. There’s always a line to buy food too. Would definitely come back when I’m in Hayward. One of the best joints I’ve been to. Oh and the coffee… Around $ 2 – 3 but so good. Add some French vanilla cream and it’s like a cappucino. Don’t wait, just go.

I’ve always heard about this place and finally had the opportunity to try it for the first time this morning. I live relatively close to the place and found it somewhat easily. It’s located in a small plaza off a main road so you really have to keep your eye out for the sign(which only says«coffee & tea») Unilocal wasn’t lying when it said this place is often really busy. I went at 1:30pm on a Monday and there was a small line and filled seating. There’s only about 10 small tables for seating, a small lounge in the back and 2 outdoor tables but considering this place is really good, you might have to wait a little for an open spot. I’ve never had a savory crêpe before but reviews said to make sure and try 1 savory and 1 sweet because you won’t regret it and I didn’t! Ordered the strawberry banana crêpe with raspberry sauce and chicken apple sausage savory crêpe!(Had mushrooms, tomato, spinach, drizzle of pesto sauce). The portions are great, definitely big enough for 2. Each dish came with a choice of one side, the Greek salad was tasty! I had a great first experience with the savory crêpe, it was incredible. We also ordered an iced mocha coffee and a peach/orange smoothie(SOGOOD!) the smoothie tasted like Jamba Juice but better. Our entire meal cost $ 20. I’m really glad I tried this place out, I really recommend if you’re in the area and need a tummy bfast/lunch.

Came here on my day off as I live really close by… Got an egg, bacon, and cheese crêpe with fruit on the side. had no idea of how big it was going to be so I also ordered a sweet crêpe with fresh berries… OMG, the omelette crêpe was HUGE and very filling and I have a big appetite… Flavorful, FRESH, and fast! The sweet crêpe is going to be my go-to. the crêpe itself is very good, I think they may have put a tad bit of vanilla in the batter for the sweet one. wonderful, not too chewy, just the right texture. I live about 2 minutes from here… I need to come more often… Be sure to try 2– one savory, one sweet. you won’t be disappointed!

I came here on a Saturday for an early lunch. The line was long but only had to wait a few minutes to order. I ordered an americano and a chicken pesto sandwich to go. I had a few different options for the side dish with my sandwich and I opted for the fruit. All the ladies behind the counter were very friendly and full of smiles. Overall the place was clean and organized. Thier menu is plentiful and full of yummy options. It took me a few more minutes than expected to receive my order but not a big deal. Once I started eating I could tell that the ingredients were fresh and full of flavor. My americano was decent but nothing special. My first impression of this place is positive and I would like to come back and explore more of thier menu. Definitely worth a try.

Delicious! I ordered the Super so it came with ham, cheese, tomatoes, egg. They drizzle a pesto sauce on top which was really made the crêpe taste so good. It was, however, a tad bit dry for me, I would’ve it to be juicy from tomatoes or at least cheesy, but I think it was lacking in ingredients. Be prepared to wait a while for your crêpe. They should def invest in more than just two crêpe makers if you are opening a crêpe shop. Parking was difficult too since we came during brunch hour on a weekend and it was really crowded.

Frodo Joe’s is definitely an awesome local spot. Their crepes are really filling because they’re big buuut I’ve had some of their crepes, like the cashew chicken, which just didn’t have enough filling for me(which is why this is a 4 star review); But their breakfast crêpe with egg is delicious. You can even sub bacon for ham for free! Their side pasta salad is really good(I’ve never tried the salad or fruit). They also make an excellent thai iced tea, large for $ 2.95. They have a few outside tables but I mostly see people eat inside. Highly recommend. *as Faith said in another review, a lot of the ingredients that go in the crepes are microwaved before put in the crêpe.

I’m from out of town, but I had been told by locals that this is the place to go for crepes! This is a cute little café with plenty of reading material and a nice lounge area in the back. It was pretty crowded when I came, so I assume that says a lot about the place! Normally crepes all taste the same to me everywhere since it’s essentially the same ingredients used, but that was until I came here. I ordered the Strawberry Nutella Crêpe, which was delicious. What made it stand out from other creperies is that the actually crêpe is cooked thicker than normal, so the stuffings don’t puncture through the crêpe as opposed to if it were thinner. They also stuffed the crêpe like crazy with strawberries! It was the perfect size for 2 people. Defintely looking to come back to try some of their savory crepes.

Gourmet crepes and amazing coffee, if you’re looking for these two things then look no further. Around this area there isn’t much options when you’re looking for something healthy to eat. There’s a little Caesars nearby some fast food Chinese place a drive thru taqueria and like KFC and a jack in the box. I consider frodo to be healthy because you can deck out your sandwiches or crêpe anyway you want it. Today I got the California crêpe with scrambled eggs. The California comes with avocados, turkey cheese and all savory crepes comes with pesto sauce. The coffee is really good here. They even have blended ice coffees and they are amazing. If you’re in the area looking for a cup of joe then I definitely recommend frodo joes.

Came here with a craving for a fuego crêpe and was satisfied. Presentation: 5⁄5 Walking into the restaurant, you’re greeted with a seemingly innocent breakfast/brunch setting. Small tables littered the floor in a organized manner. Towards the back, there are some couches for a lounge-like/relaxing mood. Customer Service: 3⁄5 It took forever for us to get our crepes. There were literally four people, who ordered after I did, that received their orders before me. Our ice cream scoops literally melted on the plate before our crepes were made… 20 minutes later. Food: 5⁄5 Ordered the Strawberry/Banana Crêpe with extra nutella and an extra scoop of ice cream. Portion was huge but I managed to devour that thing in no time at all. Overall experience, amazing dessert crêpe. The wait is just extremely long, not that it was busy, but it is more than possible that other orders are made before yours despite you ordering first.

So I’ve come here twice now, the crepes are a bit thick and sort of hard/crispy — and they taste a little like bisquick or krusteaz pancake mix. Mind you, I really like that you can get a lot of food for the price(~$ 8) and that it’s decently healthy: turkey was definitely deli meat(a bit too salty and the weird deli slime), though the avocado was fresh, which I appreciated. Service has tended to be a bit on the slower side, order at counter and wait for food at table. Overall, it’s not bad considering the area — but I’m not really sure it hit my crêpe craving.
