Excellent jeweler for jewelry repair. I was impressed with the attention to detail and the timely repair of the jewelry. A special thanks to Kelsey Moe who helped to sort through and catalog each piece for repair. It was a breeze getting my jewelry repaired.

I’ve always passed by this little shop admiring the jewelry in the window when shopping in downtown SLO. When it was finally time to shop/​look for an engagement ring we looked everywhere for a perfect ring, I’m kind of picky when it comes to something SO special and I’ll be wearing forever. The ladies here made it SUCH a special and exciting event when I finally found the PERFECT Tacori ring! I was VERY happy with their customer service and experience AND knowledge of diamonds. Very Very HAPPY customer (:

This review is long overdue. I was referred to B. Anthony by another jeweler for a custom engagement ring, and was skeptical mostly based on the fact that I had walked by several times and never felt compelled by the relatively hidden store front. However, B. Anthony is one of the best kept secrets in SLO. I received the most amazing service I could imagine. Jeff spent quite a bit of time listening, asking thoughtful questions, and helping me arrive at what I wanted. When he showed me the model of what he had designed, I was floored by his ability to incorporate all the details and flavors we had discussed. The ring was fairly unusual for an engagement ring, but Jeff pulled it off and did so within my modest budget. My fiancée loves her ring, and months later, I still catch her staring at her hand, loving the care that was put into its beauty. Thank you Jeff and Rosie, for your creativity and caring, and for making my fiancée and I feel special. We’ll be back to discuss wedding bands!

I was coming in from out of town and was very limited on time to find the perfect gift. I emailed B Anthony & company about what I was looking for and the situation. I heard back from them immediately, letting me know that they had what I was looking for and they would have it all ready for me. When I walked into the shop, the necklace was all wrapped ready to go and I was out of there in minutes. Definitely one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had! I live in San Diego but will make the drive to S.L.O and B. Anthony for all future jewelry purchases.

I recently lost my wedding band, and went into the B Anthony & Company Jewelry Store (after reading Jesse’s review. thanks Jesse!) this afternoon to check out what they had to offer — what a lovely experience! The owner, Brad, was extremely thorough and attentive to the specifics I was requesting in a replacement wedding band; He took the time to show me every last detail and explain to me anything I needed clarification on. I could tell he was really passionate about what he does — it just shows! I have decided that he is the man I will trust to create a custom-​design for me — he fully understood what I wanted. His honest approach, and appreciation for each customer’s distinct and unique desires in their jewelry was obvious. Not a person went ignored by him or his staff, and there was a true absence of that feeling of being pressured into purchasing. I actually spent about an hour in the store today and I never felt rushed to make a decision. I definitely recommend this Jewelry company. I will update this review after I have the ring made!
**Update: My ring is gorgeous. It is exactly what I wanted and I couldn’t be more pleased! Giving my review one more star. I definitely recommend.

I’m the owner’s (Brad Bilsten) son so please know this review is biased as I think the world of my dad and love his jewelry designs! However if you’re willing to keep reading I’ll tell you exactly why I love my father’s store.
Brad (B of «B Anthony») Bilsten and Tony (Anthony of «B Anthony») Gomez met at Cal Poly and fell in love with jewelery making. It started out small and has grown to two stores servicing two different markets of jewelery: High-​end-​custom & trendy-​hip-​young styles.
The B Anthony store caters to the high-​end-​custom styles and upstairs creates all the custom jewelery designs. If you’ve got an amazing idea but not sure how to bring it to fruition, do yourself a favor and go sit down with either Brad or Tony and let them help you make those dreams a reality. Tell them Jesse sent you in for some (probably) hilarious stories about me as a kid (I’m thirty now so they’re not so funny… at least not unless there’s at least a few glasses of alcohol involved).
Also I gave this review 4 stars as I have to be honest, I’m partial to Gold Concepts designs as they are more within my price range and my style likings. However I gave it 4 stars because if I ever need a wedding ring I will be coming to Brad to have it designed.

Tony designed a set of anniversary wedding bands for my parents in 1984. And since then, B Anthony has found its way to my Dad’s #1 Gift Spot. Always perfect for Mom’s birthdays, Christmas and Valentine’s. With me in tow, Mom took the liberty of selecting her own jewelry Christmas gift this year. We walked in to tiny shop and were immediately greeted by a sweet salesperson. She was a little heavy-​handed for my taste, but once we gave in and started talking to her, she was quite helpful (albeit green around the gills [is that even an actual metaphor?]).
The in-​store selection is limited to a handful of display by gemstone, it seems small but each piece is gorgeous and has won its way into the display case.
We waltzed out with a great pair of cushion-​cut citrine earrings. They catch the perfect amount of light without having to add any diamonds to make ‘em sparkle. Simple and elegant… Although the chatty salesgal gift-​wrapped the box, I made sure that Dad added his own gift tag. Now that, ladies and gents, is true romance.
B Anthony (and its sister store, the Gold Concept) is a San Luis tradition and well worth a stop.
