I graduated in 2012 and am catching up on reviews. I lived off-campus for my first two college years and lived in PCV for the last three, becoming a CA for the last year. As a CA, we have plus dollars like Freshmen and were obligated to spend it at places like Einsteins.
While I do enjoy the almond smear on everything bagel and breakfast bagels, there was just so much more I wanted from PCV plaza that Einsteins couldn’t satisfy. They should X out the «study lounge» inside the restaurant to make a food-court style addition to accommodate the excessive indoor and outdoor seating.

love their nova lox! i feel like a lot of the other things are just overpriced and not worth getting unless you have plus dollars. they tend to put way too much cream cheese on their bagels, which i’m not sure if i like or not. on the on hand, at least they’re not being stingy. on the other hand, it’s just way too much and i usually end up having to scrape a lot of it off. oh and last time, they forgot to put capers on my bagel so i had to come back and ask for it and then they put like a million capers. c’mon guys, find a good balance here!

This place has delicious bagels! One of the few bagel places I know of in SLO. Great location on Cal Poly’s campus. Highly recommended!
