Face To Face

Emily is a scientist and nutritionist by training, so I really trust her advice. She is also hilarious and feels like an old friend (who happens to know everything about skincare). She is a skilled esthetician and massage therapist, and I’d go see her for hours of pure happiness every day if I could. To top it all off, she is a really kind business owner that donates to good causes, and she supported my friend who has been through a lot (so I will forever be grateful on behalf of my friend).
(In case you’re wondering, it’s an amazing group called «Honoring One Woman» that organizes events for women who have suffered an «irreplaceable loss”– and they raised almost $ 1300 for my friend, in part because of generous donations from business owners like Emily.)
Long story short: Go see Emily! She is an awesome human being. :-)

Emily was fantastic, she made my week go from stress-​filled to stress-​free! I even sent my boyfriend here for a first time facial and he loved it and got some great tips for overall skin care. I just had my first facial with Emily and she was amazing. Clean and cozy environment. She did a thorough screening prior to my facial. This is the only time I have left a facial and been glad I did it. Her touch was perfect. Great education during and after. No pressure to purchase products but did because I wanted to continue on with what she started. I felt so clean when I went out that night I didn’t put make up on because it just felt so good. To be honest, I was skeptical going into Face to Face, having never really had a wonderful massage experience. I was blown away by Emily’s charisma and attitude to not only facilitating my ability to relax but also in her knowledge to aid me in fixing some long standing back issues. Each session she took more notice to work different areas to help my body naturally heal and still allow me to relax completely.
I’ve now started to take Emily’s Essential Oil classes, and have to say she’s one of my favorite people on the Central Coast.

I have seen Emily twice now for leg waxing and she is great. I am currently 9 months pregnant and was feeling very uncomfortable and she put me right at ease. I went for the first time 3 weeks ago and told her I was a waxing virgin and was nervous and she was fabulous. I would highly recommend her and I plan on continuing to see her in the future. I told my husband I would never shave my legs again!

I had three facials with Kristen and I am very happy with the service! She is very knowledgeable and is helpful! I brought in all my makeup and face products so she could tell me if I should change/​not use certain products. I highly recommend Kristen!

Best massage ever! Patrick (you would never know he was a newer therapist) knew exactly the spots to cover and had the best pressure and treatments ever! Me being a bigger guy it’s always hard to gauge and Patrick listened to my requests and gave the best massage that I have ever had. Can’t wait to make the next appointment he will be the only one I go to. He only works weekends but scheduling online is easy and communication from the office is thorough.

A perfect facial! Emily was wonderful. A relaxing hour of pampering. I loved it so much I bought a gift certificate for a Valentine’s present for my husband…

Emily is a fantastic facialist! I found a coupon for her services on Unilocal and was pleased by her offer to first time clients. Her studio is cozy, like walking into a good friend’s living room.

I highly recommend massages from Emily! She is great at relieving tension in sore spots in a non-​painful way and really encourages feedback so you get the pressure that is right for you. She is very professional and creates a wonderful experience from beginning to end.

Emily is so awesome! I’ve had three facials with her so far and it’s so relaxing! She is very knowledgable and customizes facials for your individual needs, mine being acne! My skin feels so much smoother and my pores look visibly smaller! I bought the Unilocal deal and it was so worth it so I bought a package of 3 facials for $ 180 that’s $ 60 off! I can’t wait to go back!

Jessica gives a wonderful massage! I felt so incredibly relaxed after the hour swedish massage I had. I am no stranger to professional massages, and trust me, Jessica is good! I was asked to describe my trouble areas and why I came in, even though Jessica seemed to find all the right spots anyways. She is incredibly strong and is able to really give you a rub down, if you like firm pressure. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience :)
It’s about $ 80 for 60 minutes on their Swedish massage, however you can generally find a coupon if you search around.

Patricks massage style was amazing. It was a firm touch that calmed me down with a good amount of pressure. I could feel the care taking in the special Esalen techniques. I usually get massaged by women but Patrick came recommended by a close friend and it was very healing.

Patrick gives a FANTASTIC massage. If you are hesitant about getting a massage from a male, don’t be. He is very professional and I felt very safe and comfortable the whole time.
I really love the Esalen style massage – long, slow strokes, sometimes on opposite sides of the body at the same time. It had me drooling 15 minutes in. Yay.

I just had my third massage with Emily on Thursday and I was so thrilled to have received my best massage yet! I have a history of spinal injury and surgeries (with hardware) and Emily has worked wonders helping me ease my pain. I Have found a new home at Face to Face — I can’t say enough about Emily’s gift as a masseuse… she is talented and genuine. I rarely write reviews, but I just feel like I want to tell the whole world about Face to Face! Emily is THAT good!!!

Emily is AMAZING. I might be in love. Not in a creepy way, but in the way of she is a massage ninja! I have a lot going on in my body and this lady got to all the spots and I feel great! $ 80 an hour? She’s worth $ 150. Highly recommended. Oh and btw, I’m a licensed massage therapist, I know what I’m talking about. She knows deep tissue, trigger point, and the list goes on and on.
Skin, my back breaks out like crazy about once a year, Emily gets in check. I get two back treatments and I’m ready to go. Facials are relaxing and I look younger. What more do I need? Ive been in the beauty industry for 14 years, I’ve had tons of facials, most the time they hurt me. I’m sensitive. No one believes me, they think everyone thinks they are sensitive, then they burn my face. Not Emily! She listens. I feel and look good. That is what this is all about.

I’ve seen Emily multiple times over the last year and every experience was amazing. I’ve had completely different areas of concern (neck, back and hamstrings) and she completely customized the massage accordantly. My girlfriend also swears by her massages to help with her back pain. Clean office, friendly and knowledgable.

Emily was amazing. I am so happy I purchased a series of facials. After just one my skin looked bright, healthy, and much younger. There is nothing better than a knowledgable esthetician that does such a comprehensive job including extractions. (We don’t like to talk about it, but it is so good to get the junk out of your face! and many estheticians in the area do not do extractions) It was one of the best facials I have ever received — amazing and relaxing.

If you want a good facial with someone who is knowledgeable and AWESOME – Go to Emily! she is the bomb… com! I don’t think my skin has looked softer, clearer and more healthy than it does right now. I use to shy away from facials because my skin would always react to the things that they would do to it, but my skin looked and felt so good when I left as well as the next day and next day. I can’t wait to go back. I am definitely making this one of my «things to do». You will not be disappointed.
