Food was fresh and burritos can be customized. Nice salsa and staff service. Would go there again if in the area.

God, I love this place. So perfect for a quick and delicious breakfast. They’re usually very busy so be prepared to wait a little while for your food. It’s also small inside so I would recommend sitting outside or ordering it to go. The salsa that comes with the burrito is so delicious, I always ask for extra. The staff is kind and energetic because they are college students. I’ve always had great service! Stop by here before they close(at 2pm) if you’re in SLO(instead of Jack n the box) :P

I came here to try their breakfast burrito. I know this place is crazy crazy busy on the weekends and so I went mid-week. We ordered two breakfast burritos with bacon for take-out. When we walked in we were not greeted right away and it took a few minutes for someone to ask if we wanted to be seated. We asked to place our take out order and walked over to the host area. After putting in our order we waited outside as there is no real room or spot for people to mingle/wait. They were not too busy, but it took about 15 minutes for our order to come out, which seemed long. We took our food and left. The burrito was pretty good, it was well wrapped, but there was no much flavor in anything inside. Aside from the salt of the bacon I didn’t get the impression much was done to anything seasoning inside to make this burrito stand out from anybody else’s. I was unimpressed, and don’t feel a need to go back. I’ll stick with Frank’s, or Tacos de Acapulco’s breakfast burritos for now.

Alrighty… This place should be renamed The Walk of Shame. We should have left when we saw the only other patrons were hung-over college students bumping around inside and out. Only one waitress that also busses tables, takes phone and to go orders. However, he kitchen was full of bodies having a good time yelling, laughing and listening to mariachi music. The portions were large and the understaffed waitress was trying but unless you are wearing last night’s clothes standing there shivering in your tank top with raccoon makeup, pick another place.

Food was fine, no great shakes. There was no wait when we arrived and we’re seated right away. As the hour went by waiting for our food multiple people came, ordered and left with their to-go food. The waitresses noted how they do take out first before customers at tables. Lesson learned, order your food to go and sit on the benches outside, you will have your food in no time at all.

Absolutely delicious, although the service could have been better. Took my mom here for Mother’s Day breakfast and everyone in our group was more than satisfied with their food. The breakfast burrito was delicious AND they had an option to make it vegetarian and add lots of veggies and avocado so it more than made up for the less than awesome service.

I hate breakfast, I hate burritos, and I definitely hate breakfast burritos but this place makes a concoction so delicious that I can overlook those faults. I would come here every time I visit San Luis Obispo. Order their special burrito and if you’re a baller like me, get both sausage and bacon.

We came in town for a competition at Cal Poly and wanted to try some good rated local eatery spots. This place was spot on for breakfast. The portions were large and filling. I got the Greek omelet and it was fantastic. I rated it 4 stars because the seating was limited and I tasted a little soap in my water(maybe the cup wasn’t rinsed fully) But overall great local joint! Would definitely come back again.

This place is def a college spot… food is fit for one who may be hungover, as is the atmosphere! If you’re hungover you may not notice the filth! Seriously. Water was musty smelling and tasting, the ice machine seems like it was straight from Hearst castle it was so old! If looking for good food… look elsewhere! On top of it all orders were messed up and 3 diff people waited on us during the whole process!

Love their Two for One Tuesday’s! It’s buy one get one free for any burrito. My boyfriend got a buzz burrito and I got the same thing, but without the tortilla. It was pretty good — definitely hit the spot. The food & service is always great but the restaurant itself could use a remodel. It seemed a little dirty and stuffy. Will probably get the food to go next time.

On March 25, 2016 at approximately 11:30AM… After driving by this place many times and seeing it filled with customers my wife and I decided to give it a try. A very disappointing experience. Super slow service. Burnt greasy eggs. Two shriveled pieces of old tasting roast beef on cattleman sandwich drowning in a quarter cup of mayonnaise. Unseasoned undercooked boiled potatoes. I don’t know how or why but the place was still pretty busy and only one girl was assigned to tending tables and running the register. A good barometer on how bad the food was when I saw all the uneaten food on the un-bussed tables on the patio. It seemed as if the cook had no pride in the food he was preparing and serving. Maybe there’s been an ownership change, maybe a new cook, I’m not sure but any restaurant in the area that operates at this sub par level Will not be open for long. The above horrible meal cost $ 20.

Pretty good food but super slow service. I waited 35 mins for my breakfast burrito when the place is barely 50% full. The girl next to me couldn’t wait anymore and had to take hers Togo. Nothing too special. Will try other stuff next time. Not somewhere I would crave for.

Cute little diner feel with plenty of outdoor seating. We cozied up inside because it was a little too windy. We were instantly greeted by the friendly, college-age staff and had a warm coffee in hand in no time. I had the fried egg sandwich with cheddar and turkey. Super duper tasty! Great breakfast place. I’ll be visiting again.

Looks like this is the local breakfast hangout for all of the free-wheelin’ Cal Poly kids. I hear this place is something of an institution around here. I ordered a stack of pancakes, which apparently included a side of bare naked ass. A strong gust of wind blew the waitress’ skirt up, making it obvious that she wasn’t wearing underwear. Luckily for her, and not necessarily everyone else, a black apron prevented any exposure from the front of her pelvis. Notwithstanding the impromptu peep show, the food and service were excellent. The pancakes were on point, the eggs cooked perfectly over-medium, and the only cottage cheese I saw was on my plate. Thank you, Breakfast Buzz.

Great food, relaxed atmosphere, and great service! There always seems to be a steady stream of people here and now I know why. The food is simple, fresh and yummy. The staff is friendly, helpful, and my coffee & water were always full. Though the patio dining was next to a busy street, it was not overly distracting. The breakfast burritos are filling. My wife took advantage of the«build your own» burrito and was not disappointed! My fried egg sandwich was a pleasant surprise. Many places boast thick sliced turkey but I end up with lunch meat. The grilled turkey was certainly not lunch meat. They did not skimp on the ingredients either. This is a perfect place for a leisurely breakfast!

Neat little breakfast place in San Luis Obispo. I sampled one of their breakfast burritos and found it prepared with love and fresh ingredients. I also appreciated that it was just the right size; and not too large. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is very small but fortunately today the weather was nice and there are a number of tables outside. Plenty of parking in a private lot and conveniently located at the intersection of Highway 101 and Highway 1. Thanks Breakfast Buzz :)

Worst service ever. After waiting 15 minutes outside in the sun with a baby at a table without a umbrella the waitress comes by and spills a tray of waiters on the table next to us. 3 tables were seated after us that were helped for drinks after and orders before us. Finally I go inside to tell the waitress we needing ro be helped already and the girl at the counter tells me to wait in line! This line she is mentioning is walk in to go orders who are coming in every couple minutes! I had enough and just left the menus on the table and my family walked out. I will never ever recommend this place or try again. On the bright side cowgirl café is less than a block away! Should have gone there in the first place!

Go for the food, but don’t expect anything from the service. This place is for hungover college students. It always surprises me when I see older parties there. The prices are okay. Nothing SUPER amazing.(Besides bogo burritos on Tuesdays… That’s pretty amazing) This is the kind of place where you have to walk up to the bar with your coffee mugs and ask for more coffee. They won’t cringe or be offended, the servers will just laugh and refill it. Our server last time was wearing Sperry’s, basketball shorts, and a Cal Poly tshirt… It doesn’t get more casual than this.

Came here today and only two tables of customers so the place was empty. every table we tried to sit at was dirty :(we were told grab a menu and sit down ! I watched while the girl did basically nothing all while waiting for her to take the order ! Then a group of 4 college boys comes in and she tells them the same, grab a menu and pick a seat! Within two minutes she is taking their orders and smiling etc. She walked by us multiple times as we were literally sitting in the door way!! I finally say after 15 minutes do you plan on ever taking our order? Really !!! We just about walked out and quite honestly dont really care if it’s good as we won’t be back:( I will say if u can handle the poor service of this place the food is actually very good! Kudos to the cooks too bad they can’t rub off on the waitresses !

This place was recommended by a former SLO resident and boy it did not disappoint. The buzz burrito was a perfect breakfast. Living in San Diego, I’ve gotten very used to totally massive, gut busting, greasy delicious breakfast burritos. The buzz burrito was a positive and different breed, combining warm tortilla, fluffy eggs, crispy bacon, sour cream, and the refreshingly healthy taste of ripe tomato and avocado. The size was perfect for my pre-hike meal, not too small but not so big I wanted to explode. I highly recommend!
