The Golden Lotus is really a great place and Mr Wen gives the best costumer service I Purchased and item and the measurement we not correct ” IT was my fault”” I wasn’t forced keep it .no one was pushy they let you look around and make you feel really comfortable. I will recommend this show room to anyone looking for Asian décor.

Scammed me on «Solid Elm Wood» carved Buddha for $ 875. Filed with Better Business Bureau today and will continue to make sure people know about this unless I get refunded. This is their ad I bought from on ebay (copy/​pasted):
Promised in Ebay & Amazon ad — wood carved Buddha — it’s PLASTER I was sold a solid wood carved Buddha for $ 875 but it just cracked a couple months after receiving it. It’s plaster laquered. I have pictures and a video and can skype live with company to show them. This is a piece of junk they sold me — clearly stating it’s made of wood. This is the headline, «Big Black Lacquer Chinese Antique Wood Hand Carving Sitting Buddha Statue WK2571». I have the original ad as well. These description says, «Look at this peaceful Chinese antique black lacquer sitting Buddha which is made of solid elm wood. This statue is different with the reproduction you see at the market. You can see Buddha face and proportion which are perfect. It should be gorgeous to put at your entrance hall way or living room.»
It’s painted plaster that just cracked!!! I heard it crack across the room today.
I want a refund — if I get it, I might remove this. Otherwise, I’ll put up a Golden Lotus Inc web page that gets ranked #1 on google so everyone can see what happened to me.

Loved my experience here. They have quality, beautiful Asian pieces and the prices are amazing. The owner is wonderful as well, very attentive but no pressure and so accommodating. I am never going to any big named furniture stores again, just this place from now on.

Great selection of Chinese furniture — from high to low, their large showroom is stuffed with furniture and accent pieces.
They have both new and old items, and unlike some «antique» dealers, they were very forthcoming about the age of the items.
If you want a Tansu, a chair fit for an emperor, or a minimalist Asian wardrobe — they have it for you.
I bought three pieces — delivery was a flat $ 125. They’ll touch up any nicks before the piece leaves the showroom.
I’m excited to have them delivered — and I’m confident all will go well (if not, I’ll let you know).
