Ariadni works here and she is the absolute best! She really loves her job and takes into consideration what her customers want. She is an expert at color and getting you happy to what your ideal hair color would be! If anyone is looking for a good color person please check her out! She does especially well with ombré, highlights, blonde!!!

I was very pleased with my haircut by Jocelyn. I went from long hair to a shoulder length cut. I was a little hesitant because it was going to be a significant cut and it was my first time with Jocelyn, but she did a great job! I have received so many compliments and now friends and coworkers also want to get their haircut from Jocelyn! The only reason I gave this review four stars and not five is because I told her that I wanted a haircut where the back was a little shorter than the front but it seems to be the same length. A little disappointed with that. Still a fantastic cut and I would go back.

I absolutely love this salon! I am never disappointed when I come here! I usually go to Katie who works so well with me to pick out the perfect color and style! Everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful. I have also seen Britney and Andrea! I am always so happy– the environment is so positive! conversation is never dull and they are always wanting you to be comfortable! I highly recommend this place! I have blonde hair which I get very picky about and I will never go anywhere else!

First time at this salon, after 20 years with another stylist.
I liked everythhing about it — on-​line apps/​reminders with clear times ans prices; Brittany, my stylist was really interested in getting it right… and she did.
Staff was courtious and professional.
This is a great experience.

I feel good after getting haircut here. Jocelyn did amazing job on my hair. They welcomed me and offered me beverage that was surprised. they valued the customer very high. I got free sample of good product which made my trip worthy. Thanks Jocelyn for the free sample.

I have nothing but positive reviews for this salon. I am beyond picky when it comes to finding a person I trust with my hair. I went to someone else before coming here and my hair looked and felt horrible. I needed someone to color correct my botched balayage that I had just received a week before and to recut my layers. Based on the reviews, I scheduled an appointment with Ariadni. First and foremost, she is super sweet, personable, and patient. She’s also very pretty and has a cute sense of style. She tried very hard to remove the ash brown from my balayage highlights and to tone it to something warmer that suited my complexion.
What I liked about her was that she consulted with other stylists on what the best options were to try and remove the dye. Seeing her collaborate with other stylists made me respect her even more because I know she was trying her best to fix my hair. One of the stylists, I think her name was Tami, was also really nice when she was evaluating my hair. Ariadni made sure I was always comfortable while my head was in the bowl and we also had a good conversation. My hair turned out great. It was still darker than what I wanted but she was able to take the muddy, ashy color out and it’s been fading pretty nicely since my visit. As a plus, my haircut and bangs look so much better.
My only concern was when my hair was in the bowl while she was toning my hair. One of the trainees was hovering around the whole time. I don’t mind if someone is training but it would have been nice if someone explained to me that they’re training or interning. I felt a bit uncomfortable just laying there having someone stare at me. Other than that, everyone seems very pleasant and professional. I have nothing but positive words for this establishment and will recommend it to my friends and family.

Just had another lovely experience at Les Amis as always… really, I don’t think I’ve experienced too often a business that 1) makes you feel so special and appreciated and 2) does such an amazing job. Even boys like to have good hair and Katie made my hair look like it belongs in one of those hair model pictures (as long as it’s some other guy’s face LOL)…

I just moved here from the east coast and had to find someone to replace the hair stylist I had been going to for 25 years. Everyone knows how difficult that can be! Luckily I found Brittany at Les Ami. She knew just how to work with my very curly hair. She took time to talk to me, to listen to my concerns, and asked good questions about my hair routines. Then she gave me a wonderful haircut. I appreciated the fact that she let me lead the process, but also gave good advice and suggestions.
I also was impressed by the Les Amis Salon in general. It is a bright and pleasant space, and everyone there is friendly. They offered me a drink of my choice when I arrived, and we’re very welcoming. I am so glad I found this salon.

I had an amazing experience at Les Amis. Not only was the job done well, but the environment was amazing. WIth Andrea it felt like we we’re long time friends even though I had just met her that day. My hair looks amazing and she gave me not only some great hair pointers but a goody bag to boot! Will definitely be coming back here again !

Ariadni is the best hair stylist I’ve ever had! Today I decided to cut much more than my normal trim and showed her a couple pictures. She quickly picked the one I liked most without me telling her and gave me the same style. She’s great at cutting, blow drying and curling and I’m always looking forward to my next appointment.

Thank you so much Ariadni for the hair cut. I came into Lea Amis last Saturday and showed Ariadna exactly what I wanted and she made it happen (: I was nervous because I never cut my hair short or in a lob but I said said why not try something new? I loved how she used bumble and bumble products on my hair it left it super smooth and smelling amazing

Brittany at Les Amis is the only one that I trust with my hair! And my husband — who is even more picky than I am, if you can believe that — only trusts Brittany too.
Not only does she do incredible men’s and women’s cuts, but her understanding of color is spot on. Every time I’ve wanted a color change, Brittany has taken the time to understand exactly what I want to make sure that the color comes out right which they have. The colors are always rich and beautiful. She is also concerned with preserving the health of my hair, so she has always been honest with me about what is realistic versus too drastic and would fry my hair.
Brittany is also patient, friendly and FUN to talk to. Truly a renaissance woman of hair!

Came back a second time and worked with Jocelyn. She did a fantastic job, and was very friendly and knowledgable.
After looking online at several salon websites, price wise Les Amis is right within the $ 60 – 75 range of all the salons that have comparable reviews in the Burlingame/​San Mateo area. The bonus perks that will have me coming back are
–the warm and friendly staff
–the products used
–the goodie bag of samples they send you home with every time
–free water/​coffee/​wine
–ample and convenient free parking

My review is definitely on the salon as a whole but my hairstylist is Ariadni.
Ariadni is so kind, patient and talented ! I have had such a dramatic change over the years– brunette to blonde– and it’s all because of her! She listens to everything I say and gets it done. She never cuts more than you ask (super important to me.) She has great recommendations on what I should do with my hair and knows what she is talking about! I highly recommend Ariadni to anyone who is looking for someone who loves what they do and is so great at it!
As for the salon, it’s beautiful and everyone there is always very welcoming. I love that they carry bumble&bumble protects, my hair is in such great shape! The salon is a beautiful one stop shop, hairstylist, manicurist and waxing, you can’t beat it! Enjoy a beer or glass of wine while your getting pampered :) also the easy online booking is a PLUS!

Super impressed with my results for a third time! Ariadni did my Brazilian Blowout today and had done my Balyage highlights about a month ago. I have long wavy (sometimes frizzy) hair and the color/​treatment helped tame/​polish it while still looking natural.
The online scheduling feature is my favorite since I always want hair treatments at the last minute!

Woohoo! The hunt for a new stylist is finally over for me. I swear I have so many stories more so nightmares of my past haircut experiences that im relieved to have discovered this place!
All my coworkers go here as well. Luckily, I was mentioning among work conversations that I was looking for a new salon and this place came up. I looked far and wide for reviews on this place and decided to try Christina! I’m so happy I did. She was great!!! She kept double checking to make sure I wanted to cut off 10 inches and I just went for it. I was delivered full cycle service with a nice wash, cut, style, and blow dry! Oh and did I mention, they only use bumble and bumble products!
Overall my experience here was great. I was actually one of those customers that kept rescheduling and they were still very accommodating. I’ll be back for a dye :) everyone here is super friendly and well trained. I would recommend Christina for anyone looking for a good cut :)
