The notion that this is just a gallery is somewhat misleading. It’s a lot more than that. Like a traditional gallery, it’s got art on the walls for sale. Unlike a traditional gallery, it also functions as a studio, and offers biweekly figure drawing lessons open to the public. It’s also an hourly leasable work space that can be rented for art, events or photoshoots. Overall a great little place. Figure drawing opportunities open to the public, are hard to come by, and the only other biweekly sessions in the area are in Oakland, Berkeley and Palo Alto, so for anyone on the peninsula, this is good close one. At 15 dollars per 3 hr session it’s the most reasonable one as well.

Very Inviting and a lot of great workshops! I have had a really good experience with their life drawing workshops on Mondays and they always have a really nice variety of work on the walls. Very worth checking out.

Not your boring, stale, tense gallery. The people are friendly, the art exciting and Jesse is a doll! Really one of the best spaces for San Mateo nightlight. Art on the wild side, people into drawing models and Juxtapoz magazine — this is your place!
