Pathetic. Spent over $ 50 on a takeout order for two people. The steak was fine, nothing special but it came with single piece of lifeless broccoli — supposedly an accompaniment — that was more like a garnish than a portion. The grilled shrimp were tiny, tasteless and limp — like they gave up even trying. The caesar salad dressing, I have no ideas where that came from. It was gelatinous, overly sweet and overpowering. The fries were the best thing in our order. Avoid.

I love coming here! The food is always great, and i like the new menu. Our server, Jordan, was excellent. Always had a smile and checked on us frequently. We will definitely be coming back!

My boyfriend took me here and we had such an amazing time. We got a wedge salad, which was superb and I got a ribeye with the bacon bourbon sauce, holy hell, that sauce is amazing. Our server was very friendly and attentive she was very knowledgeable about the menu as well. I think her name was Brittany, the one with the red hair. Best server experience by far!

Here we go again with a resturant that doing false advertising! We came in specifically to get the throwback $ 12.97 steak and they don’t even have or honor it! They don’t even have the bloomin’ onion for the throwback price like advertised! I understand that each restaurant is owned by different owners but when a national commerical is ran, they have to expect people to come in asking for those specific deals.

Outback Steakhouse is alright. All I can say about this place is the following: *Service: not happy, the waiter just came to leave drinks and take the food order.(This is for all the time I was there) *Time: about 30−40min waiting for the food. *Taste: the ribeye streak had no flavor and it was not medium well… More like well done almost burnt. You want a good steak? … Try Texas Roadhouse in Union City, everything is way better!

Worst service ever. We arrived at 1.15 pm. At 1.40 pm still no water. At 2.11, still no food. Save your time and just eat somewhere else.

Service & food was marginal, waitress took forever to come back with things we had asked for. She even spilled ketchup all over my friend’s shirt because she decided to check on us with her hands full of dirty dishes. Also, be sure to check your bank statements… they change your tip amount for you. How convenient! Never eating at this location again.

My son offered to treat his mama to dinner… I’m not refusing that offer! He suggested Outback, I’ve never been, sounds good. Jordan was our server, she kept our tea & lemonaide coming, never intrusive, but available, always important. 9oz serloin w/mushroom marsala, 16oz prime rib, garlic mashed potatoes, sweet potato, shrimp skewer, steamed broccoli, wing & steak house quesadilla appetizers. We brought half home, what big eyes we had!(Just under $ 70 for 2, we ordered a lot though) He shared some prime rib with me, I liked my serloin better, he preferred his. The food was delicious, not overly salted. I plan to return soon with Hubby.

I consider myself a steak connoisseur. Steak connoisseur, then why are you eating at outback? You have zero merit, you’re saying in your head. Fact is i worked at an outback for 4 years in college and have brand loyalty. Of course I have had lb steak, forbes mill, Alexander’s, etc but When I need to satisfy my red meat fix after work for under $ 25 I head to black angus or outback. Here’s the difference. Outbacks steaks are less juicy and tender than their price points competion, but offer superior, supreme beef flavor. I feel like a man when I’m eating this steak. The service is also much better. I’m not getting up sold on saucy sides or dope ass deserts. I want red wine, a robust steak. That’s what I order and that’s what I get. Zero fuss and decent quality.

Regis was our server and he was awesome. Super friendly guy. I almost left 3 stars as all 3 dinners came out overcooked but he replaced it immediately and made good with a free dessert. He was always on with the drink and bread refills. I love outback and it’s my first time at this location. Someone needs to beat the cooks and maybey have a manager come out to check on the tables because we never saw one and were there almost 2 hours.

hubby and i came here for new year’s eve dinner with another couple and had a nice, quiet meal. it was surprisingly on the emptier side @ 6pm, but i suppose it was either too early or folks went elsewhere for their last meal of the year. i ordered the grilled chicken on the barbie, which was a 5oz seasoned and wood-fire grilled chicken breast with their signature bbq sauce, and a side of fresh seasonal mixed veggies. i requested the bbq sauce on the side, and no salt or butter on this dish to make it a healthier entrée. the chicken was grilled so that it was tender to the bite, and while a little bland, i enjoyed it b/c i knew that it didn’t have anything unhealthy on it. the mixed veggies included broccoli, carrots, and zucchini, and were sautéed until tender, but i felt the portion was a wee bit small. my side salad was a standard bed of lettuce, topped with cherry tomatoes, red onions, croutons, and dressing on the side. the lettuce could have been fresher, but i guess the finely chopped and sliced tomatoes and onions made up for that since they tasted pretty fresh. we had the usual complimentary bread with seasoned olive oil on a wooden serving board to complement our entrees. the food and service were pretty typical, average for this evening, nothing to write home about. i’ve definitely had better experiences at other outback locations.

Ratings are from 1 – 5 Service-2 Cleanliness-3 Convenient location-4.2 Food-3.1 I spent 15 minutes waiting for my appetizer and an additional 22 minutes for my main course meal. I received mashed potatoes that were hot on the top and cold underneath –_– The best thing about this place is the bread and butter they give for free. My salad came from the fridge and the meat was more than well done, it was super well done to the point it was dry. I’ve given this place a chance by coming every few months and they still disappoint. Stay Away!!!

Came here today with my bf, about 20 mins after they opened. Staff was friendly, but it took us a while to get our starter and our main courses, which I didn’t understand since there was maybe 5 people there. In addition, I ordered a steak which I thought would be a steak since it said that on the name but turned out to be more like a meat loaf, and my mashed potatoes were very tasteless. I’ve had a previous, very positive experience of another Outback location but unfortunately this one was a disappointment :(

My friend and I visited Outback on Friday night 12÷18÷15 at about 7pm. One star rating for the food runner… not the waiter. My friend ordered clam chowder and I ordered the blue cheese wedge. Both favorites of ours. The problem came when the food runner delivered the chowder & salad and was about to give me my friend’s chowder. As I attempted to correct him he abruptly placed both in front of me and muttered«you deal with it» and walked away. Needless to say. My friend and I will not be returning to that again. We were sat in booth at the bar. We were serviced by a very friendly young African American guy(don’t remember his name) No complaints at all.

This particular Outback Steakhouse comes in dead last in relation to every other Outback Steakhouse I have ever been to. I’ve been to Outback Steakhouses on both coasts, as far north as Lowell, MA(and Burlington, MA), south as North Carolina, west as Temecula, CA(and Milpitas, CA) and then there is this train wreck in San Mateo. Any time we’re running around with my mom we might end up in an Outback Steakhouse. They’re usually pretty good so while I was breezing around the Hillside Mall and decided I needed something to eat I went to O.S. because I had previously seen the sign. I wish I had checked Unilocal first. What can I say about this place? The bar staff was really great. The bartender made me some nice drinks and was friendly and cool. The food was terrible. The small leather tongue from an old shoe that they passed off as steak was so small and overcooked that the server slunk away in shame. I was on my own there that day and as I looked around at the other tables we patrons were looking at each other like, «Is this a dream?» I give two stars because the people who work there were clearly aware of their situation and trying to make up for it as best they could. I’d say that the problem is in the kitchen. Maybe the location is just so bad that no one can find them and so they’re drowning. Frankly, close this place and reopen as a strip joint or some place that can benefit the area.(p.s. kidding about the strip joint thing)

Should have been warned when the people at the bar warned fellow bar seaters that they’d waited 40 minutes for food. Let’s start out with the fact that we were forced to wait for a table when the restaurant had tons of empty seating. Waited 20 – 30 min for them to even so us for our drink order. And then waited way longer for food. All in all it took an hour and a half, closer to two, to get our food. So long in fact we had a heated debate about how to pair our choices with their wine options. Had the food been on point it might have been worth the wait. But no. food was super bland. I know. what should I expect from a chain restaurant? A lot actually after you’ve been to one where they strive for good costumer service and excellent food. Not only that, they were rather rude when it came to telling us the kitchen was closed and they could not fill our order like we wanted. Like we had just walked into the restaurant and not almost two hours before. Not our fault your service takes forever, so don’t treat us that way. The only redeeming features were that the cocktails and wine were pretty good, they didn’t charge us for the unlimited shrimp they couldn’t deliver, and the BUSBOY who kept reminding our waiter we were there . Sorry blokes, will not be a repeat costumer.

We came here because we saw the«No Worry» Wednesday special that was being advertised on National Television for $ 12.99. After we got sat down and asked about the special, we were told that this specific location was starting at $ 15.99 for the chicken or pork chop, $ 18.99 for the 6 oz sirloin, and $ 21.99 for the 9 oz. The waiter told us that every location has different prices for their specials, but it should not be this much of a difference, especially after being advertised on TV. The food was decent but I can see why this location is poorly rated and pretty empty inside. I will not be coming back here because they should keep the prices relatively similar to the TV ad, or else the location will be bringing down the brand name for all Outback Steakhouses.

Anyone who knows me knows that this is a painful review to write. I’m a huge OB fan. I used to work for Outback and I have a lot of loyalty to the brand and to the quality of the food. First of all, we waited a long time to be greeted. Standard OB training has a server approach a customer within 30 seconds of being seated. Preparing steak takes longer than most ready-made food, so it’s important to get orders in ASAP. The 5+ minute delay in greeting us also meant that we felt like our food was taking longer than normal to get to us. We became hyper-aware of our surroundings… The radio station was designed to break down my psyche one song after another. Songs alternated between office-appropriate soft-rock to panty-flinging cowboy-slappin’ country. The empty salt shaker on our table said«refill me» to my boyfriend. But to an ex-Outbacker, it screamed«this place isn’t properly maintained.» You see, every night, two or three Closers do quality check on the closed out tables. Every condiment must be refilled, the seat cushions cleaned — even the window sills — if the table has one, have to be wiped down thoroughly. But the thing that seals the deal for me was the bathroom. It was bad. Really bad. It smelled like feces — not just in one stall — the whole bathroom. There was only toilet paper in one stall, the paper towels needed to be refilled and the trash needed to be taken out. At any other OB that I have worked at, this would be unacceptable to the level of «people are getting reprimanded.» I don’t say this lightly. We were in for lunch at around 2pm, which meant that in less than three hours of being open, this Outback location went through three day’s worth of toilet paper and created 24 hours worth of trash. The food was unmarred and great quality. Our Prime Rib Dip was more delicious than I remembered and perfectly split between the two of us. Our server, Mike, was sweet and clearly a ninja as I asked him to bring out sugar but missed his sneaky delivery. But even one good server couldn’t save me from vowing never to come back to this location again — or — from discouraging everyone I know to patronize this location.

I absolutely have no idea why they have such bad reviews. It’s no difference from the good experience I also had in the Campbell location. The employees are nice & welcoming. There was a really nice waitress there. It’s clean & tidy. As for the food; YUM! I highly recommend the fully loaded mash potatoes! It’s a must have! Good portions; great price. Will return!
