Love this place, I usually come here ⁴⁄₅ times a day, very friendly crew, awesome customer service and best quality!!! great job guys keep it up !!

The new staff sucks! Every time I asked for something the lady said they had ran out of it. The girl who took my order didn’t even know how to make a frapuccino!

Different staff, different rating. New staff needs to be as personable as old staff. Not sure I’ll be back.

So Rude! I frequent this location for large group orders at least once a week and the gentleman who works the afternoons and makes the drinks is rude and so unfriendly. Learn some customer service.

I have been going to this Starbucks almost every day for the past 5+ years. Each time I get my drink and go, I think to myself, «I should really write a Unilocal review for these guys because they are really good», and yet I never do. Well, here I finally am!
I should first say that I used to work in the food industry as a manager of a joint just a tad bit smaller than this one, so I am a hawk when it comes to service quality, customer service, management style, layout, flow, cleanliness (everything!), and I can usually find SOMETHING to criticize. Not this place. Secondly, I’ve traveled across four continents and absolutely must have Starbucks every day, no matter where I am. So I have enough data points to say that this store is very well run compared with most other Starbucks stores.
Bal was the store manager for the longest time, and I am convinced that the work culture and the high service standards have a lot to do with him. Too bad he got promoted and transferred elsewhere. Horrible! But his footprints remain. What he did right — besides train his staff well — was that he knew how to hire a cohesive team. I can’t tell you how awkward it is to watch a group of people try and work together who clearly don’t gel well with one another. Not so with this bunch at Delaware. All of them are smart, efficient, energetic, and friendly.
Special shout out to Julius, Sam, Yesse, Cory, and Cecy — and to Christine, David, Dre (aka Mila Kunas), Lindsey, Mel, and Vieve who are no longer at this store as of this summer (sad) — and of course Alma Rae, my all-​time favorite barista!
P. S. I should also note that this review is for the morning crew only.

I come here every morning during the week to get my Venti Blonde before work. Most of the time they already have my order ready by the time I get to the counter, which is very helpful. It would be helpful if they never ran out of the little vanilla powder because that is a guilty pleasure of mine :)

Not the best but it’s the closest to my work. They mess up on my order 8 times out of 10. They aren’t very friendly and I even saw a girl walk to the bathroom door knock loud and yell «Did you fall in?!» And laugh very loudly while customers looked at her uncomfortably.
Again it’s closest to my work, if not I’d never come here.
I’m editing this while I stand and watch one barista talk to a guy customer and not touch any drinks waiting to be made. Then there is Angel who is making drinks and moving around her to try to complete them for all the people waiting. Bless you Angel.

Man… REALLY!!! Who the heck does the ordering for this crappy place??? Here’s a tip… GET SOMEONE NEW TO DO IT!!! They don’t know how to do their job!!! They ALWAYS run out of bagels and when they do have some… There is NEVER any cream cheese left! Get a clue!!! My BF and I live less than a minute from here and we will absolutely not come here because we hate it that much! And it is not just the cream cheese issue, it goes way beyond that! These people are slow, not very well-​trained and the one guy only SOMETIMES calls your name. Sometimes your drink is just sitting there. Get a clue, most people sit and wait for their drinks while on their phone, CALL THEIR NAME!!! This place really needs to get it together and step up there with the rest of the Starbucks. You would think they have all the same training, but I guess not! My guess is that the problem lies with the person in charge of running that place. They should first start by reading the Unilocal reviews.

I have to say there seems to be big turnover in personnel. and it appearsoverall quality and service has gone down since the mnager moved to the Broadway store
One new guy actually charged me .60 cents for milk in my iced coffee. When I told him I always get it and there’s no charge he said… that’s how my register only allows me to ring it up which is crazy. I’ve always had milk I. Iced coffee at no charge they only charge extra for soy milk for some reason???

I think the staff here is terribly rude and slow as molasses. On numerous occasions I have had my drink messed up, my bakery case item picked out wrong, and a visit here just happens to always take FOR-​EV-​ER. I don’t get it. It shouldn’t be so hard. Avoid this location at all costs.

Came here to this Starbucks location twice and both times they put whip cream in my delicious frappé when I asked for no whip cream –_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​– The baristas here DO NOT read your orders correctly… MY CUP EVEN SAID NO WC!

I came in here on a Friday evening to finish up some work, about an hour before close. As I arrived and took a seat, the employees were talking about their clean up duties and wanting to get out early. One starting sweeping, and swept a bunch of trash under my table (it wasn’t on purpose, but still — yuck!) Then he started mopping — as folks were still coming in! I can understand getting a heads start (hey — I’ve worked in a coffee shop too) but do it away from the customers who are still in your shop.

If you don’t go to a local Starbucks, you’ve missed the best darn café in town!
Hot, trendy, upscale, with some of the best expresso coffees you’ve ever tasted!
The scene is absolutely elegance at its best, from young to old, where like Cheers,
«where everybody knows your name».
Just try the macchiato, the cappuchino, the ice carmel frappuchio, and the tazo tea,
you will find excellent service with a smile, an outstanding bunch of kids, and grown adults alike.
Whether you are in the area, just shopping at the Woodlake Shopping Center,
take a little time out to just unwind and have an espresso on me!
College kids and grown-​ups are enthusiastic about going to Starbucks, just to have
a little breather from a long hard day’s work.
Prices are very reasonable, and I highly recommend the hot spot on Thursday
and Friday nights!

Small location but the baristas are friendly. It’s Starbucks so the coffee is never «Amazing» but its good.
It’s really close to the freeway so its easy to stop on the way for a road trip.

Most of the staff are new, got my sweetened ice coffee unsweetened, came back and ask for syrup. Gave the coffee back to me with coffee all over the cup. Messy messy messy. And he actually looked pissed.

I feel silly reviewing a Starbucks, but this one has totally earned it! No matter how packed this location is they always keep things moving. I think I got my latte in under a minute today, I was actually concerned I had stolen someone else’s drink… but nope, my name and order was right on it.
The location in Downtown SM is so slow, so this one is greatly appreciated! Plus, easy parking :)

Called the night before to order a few travelers for a work meeting. I was a little hesitant to do so at first, but glad I did because I wouldn’t have woken up at 5am to call and order the day of. I even received a reminder call at 5:45am regarding my order. Great job guys.

I occasionally stop at this Starbucks on weekday mornings since it’s on my way to school and although the line can be long I am amazed at how quickly they keep it moving! I’ve been in shorter lines at different locations that don’t move as fast as they do here. The staff is pretty friendly and they keep their food section well stocked.
It is a small location so it can get pretty loud during a rush but they have outdoor seating as well which is nice. I haven’t had any bad experiences here at all and the drinks are well made.

Starrrrrrrbucks… like I like to call it.
I must say I like this location, there’s always plenty of parking, the usual million calorie drinks that we all love and this location –like many others has been recently remodeled. Cool!
This will be a short review because I’m already a fan of Starbucks and as long as the staff is friendly I’ll keep them at a SOLID 4−½ stars unless I have a bad experience which I hope I don’t have.
Now the real question is… who will help me beat the Starbucks most expensive Frap Record? Hmm? Talk to me! :]
