So charming. Built in cabinetry, views of the ocean and private entrances. Maintenance is prompt and professional.

There should be a negative star rating, because that’s where this place should rate. As I am writing this review I smell cig smoke coming through the floor into my son’s room. Mice issues during a holiday weekend that I had to wait 3 days to get resolved. All while trying to keep my year old boy from not crawling around. No lights in the stairwells. This place comes off as really nice. It’s bullshit, find another place. Bad on you if you don’t check them out first. Wish I would have.

GARBAGE apartments! Owned by greedy mfers that cut corners to put more money in their pockets. WAY overpriced AND they rent to degenerates with no class who move in for a few months and have their obnoxious brood run rampant at all hours of the day and literally TRASH the place before moving back to the ghetto. The units are very old, they used to be military housing back in WWII. The plumbing is old and atrocious, tons of leaks and broken pipes, TONS OF MOLD, they use CHEAP ASS paint on the inside of the units that peels after a month. The doors, shower, sinks and toilets are crap quality and always break. The maintenance crew is cool but always understaffed because the owners are too CHEAP to pay decent wages. The staff across the board really sucks for the same reason. They can’t even manage to lock the laundry facilities at night or clean them or the property itself. So gross! Lighting on the property SUCKS as bad as parking, No A/​C in any of the units and no pool but plenty of ghetto bird flying around tho!
IF YOU HAVE TO LIVE IN PEDRO, GO AS FAR UP THE HILL AS U CAN. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
The surrounding neighborhood is nice and quiet but this place is bringing down the value of the area. It’s worth paying more to be in a newer, better maintained apt complex in a nicer area.

I lived in this complex for 10 plus years and it has some VERY serious issues that the management is VERY uncooperative to resolve. Number one complaint MOLD is in the walls and ceiling due to consistent flooding in which much of my property had to be thrown away and replaced repeatedly with no immediate compensation from the management. {Had renters insurance but after the second flood they dropped me}.Secondly my apartment windows were NOT safe and was broken in to numerous times. DONT be fooled by the lower priced rent, YOU pay for it in the end. The neighborhood is so pretty and it broke my heart to leave but truly these are slumlords. VERY Disapointed!

Do not rent unit 845, that’s all I can say. The office staff is okay — Susan does a great job and tried to help with any problems that I had. Overall the neighborhood is quiet and my neighbors just kept to themselves. The reason that I moved out after only three months is that I lived in unit 845. Should you move into this unit, be aware that unit 845 (and the whole building) is right next to the work garages where the workers show up every day before 8 am during the week, 9 am on Sat and Sun. They stay until 5pm every day (4 on Sun), and make noise that ranges from just conversation (directly below the bedroom window) to sawing, hammering, drilling and whatever else goes on in the workshop. This goes on all day. I work from home and like to sleep in on days that I don’e have to work (like Sat and Sun). The noise problem from the maintenance staff was so bad that I couldn’t work from home and was able to break my lease. The grounds keeping noise is Monday morning, 8am, but that happens one day a week almost anywhere. Bottom line, noisy. And they will get whatever they can of your security deposit. They did a walk through of my super clean apartment and pointed to a tiny little mark on the door frame that was there when I moved in. They ended up taking $ 100 of my deposit, and then another $ 50 for carpet cleaning after I was there for only 3 months and didn’t even move in much furniture. Be careful of this place!
