Biker Bar type atmosphere with really good food. They had a valet park our car in adjacent lot. I wasnt’ sure if the neighborhood was sketchy or not. Friendly place inside.

Excellent burgers, the seasoned fries are to die for, the Tiramisu was awesome. Everything was freshly prepared and well presented. Great service, we had a very enjoyable late lunch/early dinner with a table overlooking the marina.

Food is pretty good. I’m guessing it’s more of a lunch place. We went for dinner and the place was dead. We had the calamari steak without flour quite good. It was a bit spendy for a hole in the wall place.

Cute place! I don’t think I would like to come here on a busy night though. The food was perfect. The apple dessert was out of this world! I would go back there again just for it! The service was pretty fast in a good sense; maybe this was because I went on a slow night. Regardless, great experience.

I am a convert. This place has really grown on me over time. Now I know what to expect, and frankly the food I got for breakfast the other day was really, really good. Couple the good food with the great, and very real, dive bar atmosphere, and you have a winner.

The food taste great and it’s affordable. The fish tacos is a special they have sometimes and it’s great! Employees are always super friendly, food is great, and its somewhat hidden location makes for a cool place to eat. I love this place.

I have been going to this Restaurant for over 30 yrs. Thru different owners etc. The Bar Area is a bit funky, but great place to have appetizers and watch your Sports Team. Lot’s of very friendly regulars. Happy Hour is long, and the food is well worth the price. Once I was there by myself and decided to have a couple of beers and try all the appetizers. Never be afraid of a little gluttony. The Restaurant part, also has a deck to sit outside, excellent for Sunday Brunch. Staff is always friendly, and knowledgeable. You can build your own Bloody Mary on Sundays. Get on the mailing list to see what the Specials are each day. Do not go expecting Gary Danko and you will not be disappointed.

This is a blue collar joint with some very white collar prices. Happy Hour Special: The Chalkboard said Oysters on the Half Shell $ 14 … turns out that it was for a mere six(6!) listless bland room temperature oysters, all still attached to the shell. As for the view… it’s of a back alley boat dock. Just be sure to keep your eyes skyward, and not on the trash floating all about. I had to get up and track down the waiter to get my cocktail right. I found him face deep in his iPhone. It ended up being a $ 60 tab(with tip) for 3 well drinks and a dozen, tired oysters. $ 60 for that?! That’s far from what I would expect for an after-work kind of neighborhood dive bar. Note: After I Posted the review you see above, the owner sent me several belligerent contacts and e-mails, All consistent with the type of service and atmosphere you get at the pier. I finally had to block her, so she went to the comment option: Her comment to my review is the tamest. So badgering people who have bad experiences only demonstrates what you are in for if you decide to go there.

I was thrown out of this bar this evening and asked never to come back. Apparently they don’t like my not drinking or as they put it nursing cheap lemonade all night. I was also a bit outspoken on there bar /restaurant hours which seem to vary. While they advertise being a sports bar if business is slow they close the bar in the middle of San Francisco Giants games as well as Warriors and Forty Niners games. Never mind if you have been eating at the bar for many hours prior. While the food is mediocre at best the service and attitude of staff, management and especially the owner and his wife is most terrible. I would highly recommend avoiding this establishment going forward.

This place is horrible! If I could give less than one star I would. The service was awful, I was ignored for the first 15 minutes until I finally walked up and asked someone to please come bring me a menu. The waitress was less than thrilled to help me. I ordered the Kobe burger and told them I wanted it cooked well(no pink), when I got the burger it was cooked medium rare and still cool and pink throughout. Although the place was not very busy, the waitress told me she was too busy to keep an eye on me to see if I need anything. So she just wanted me to come find her every time I wanted something. When I finally left my bill was $ 20 for a burger and a Coke. This place was a dump! I would avoid it!

This restaurant gets 2 stars for horrible service. The food, I will admit, was decent, but the experience I had there wasn’t so great. I nicely asked the hostess if it was possible to move to a different table for my boyfriend and me, and she just goes«I can seat a table of 5 there, so no.» Yes, I understand not everyone can get what they want, but that wasn’t the problem. An «I’m sorry but…» could have been a lot nicer, but I guess she couldn’t even say that. Just a tiny detail, but they also didn’t check on how we were doing as we were eating. That’s not a big deal, but I just thought I should add that since most restaurants do have the courtesy to check on their customers every now and then. In addition, the waitress who gave our bill at the end of our meal just slapped it on our table with no type of thank you or acknowledgement. She didn’t even bother to say anything or make eye contact with us. Basically from beginning to end their customer service was horrible. Edit: I forgot to mention how rude the man who was in charge of the valet service was. When we got to the restaurant, we didn’t know it was valet only so we pulled into the parking lot. The man rudely shouted at us «MOVE» when we were starting to pull out. Another thing about the valet man. When we were already seated, my boyfriend decided to ask the man in charge of valet parking if he could bring the car over so he could park it. For some reason he said no and continued to park another customer’s car. I will repeat again, HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE.

Fish and chips were amazing. Fish was meaty and batter wasn’t greasy and soggy. Glad we came here. We are tourists and it’s always a crap shoot when you decide on a place. Others had Kobe burger which was great and the club looked and tasted amazing. Very fresh veggies on it.

If you are in the mood for a throwback/local/dive spot, this is the place for you. Good seafood and burgers, tasty cocktails and a great back deck overlooking a working marina — what more could a girl want on a warm Friday afternoon?! Pier 15 is tucked in a super crowded industrial are but they have valet parking. Staff is very relaxed and friendly — making this a great place for kids. It is dated and warn — but sit out on the deck and you won’t care. Start with the calamari and then have one of the fish specials — and a few cocktails — and you will leave feeling happy.

Tucked away among Pier 15… quaint, rustic ambiance. The food was excellent! The garlic chicken wings was delicious with just enough garlic, fried zucchini tasty, and garlic blue cheese bread was yummy! Definite place to re-visit

This place is all about it being an institution and also on the waterfront. The food is fair enough. ;-) Breakfast anytime too… Crab Louie salad, burgers, nicoise salad, fish tacos, Americana seafoody fare. There’s a great covered outdoor patio overlooking the water, a historic inside dining area which you walk through to get to the patio, and then a very large divey bar area which attracts a lot of worker males… anytime…all the time. Nice female bartender who I’m sure enjoys the ratio…

Places like these have a soft spot in my heart because it’s a classic-family-beach-lunch. Their deck is a great spot on a sunny day. I love that their servers, cooks and bartender(s) are *older* and wonderfully positive. That being said, their food, as to be expected, leaves much to be wanted. It’s definitely not fresh, it’s definitely bland/tasteless. I think the Bloody Mary was the best part of the lunch. Definitely seems like a great spot to watch a game at the bar or having a Cucumber Cooler on the patio.

Came here on easter. We ordered the lobster benedict. The lobster was obviously frozen… in fact I am not convinced it was even lobster. It was stale, rubbery and fishy tasting. If you can’t do lobster right, don’t do it at all. Crab is still in season, and is easily had… not sure why they wouldn’t just do that. Also, there was a mere dollop of hollandaise on there. Normally I don’t even like a lot of hollandaise, so if I was complaining, then you know they didn’t put enough on. Cool location though… right on the water. I have friends in the area, and if they wanted to go back, i would try it again. I just wouldn’t order fish.

Fun local hangout. Happy Hour till 7pm with nice drink specials and some food specials. 6 TVs in bar area for watching sports events. Bartender Tracy is friendly, social, and makes everyone feel welcome. The back patio is small and along the water. Fun place to relax, catch a sporting event on TV, and is very casual.

It’s a great place to get drinks and a cheap bite to eat but, it’s not a great place to go otherwise. I’ve been there a few times and always left feeling unsatisfactory with the quality of my order. My boyfriend made the mistake in ordering the calamari steak and it came out as a rubbery peace of fish that could bounce. Yes, his food bounced on the plate. Their outdoor patio was beautiful to look at in the night but the ambience and overall atmosphere is dingy and outdated. It’s worth trying once but if you don’t like it the first time, it doesn’t get any better.
