Janice is a thorough and diligent loan agent. In my business I come in contact with lenders who do not understand the complex process needed to get buyers ready to make a purchase in our competitive market. Janice is on top of all the details and she is thoughtful and considerate of my clients during this process. She is excellent at counseling buyers and even homeowners who just want to know what their options are with their current mortgage. Janice takes the time to go over all the details and make sure the people she meets with understand all their options I am confident in referring her and look forward to having her serve future clients.

Janice was referred to us by a coworker. She was the mortgage officer when my coworker bought her house. The first time I met Janice I felt comfortable and at ease. She doesn’t have the«wall» that I felt from three other loan officers I’ve met previously. Janice is bubbly and she has the sincerest personality that I wasn’t afraid to ask questions when I have one. She’s also honest and doesn’t beat around the bush. She’s not difficult, she’s very easy. Our budget was small but she didn’t snub us. During the home buying process, Janice didn’t push us to get what we cannot afford. She advised us to get a home instead of a condo or townhouse. When I have questions or need an updated approval letter I can always reach her on her cellphone 24⁄7. She also went to pick up needed docs from my work becoz I cannot drive to WC. She got us an additional money for downpayment using the grant CHDaP. We were able to close on our first home, 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath last May 2014 thanks to Janice. Early May 2015 she contacted us again if we are interested to have a re-fi and I was kind of doubtful becoz my other coworker advised me not to go for a re-fi early on. I asked her why she would want us to refi when its not even a year yet. But Janice explained to me how it will lower everything so I gave her the go signal to do the refi for us. And there’s no cost to us so really it was a good deal. By last week of May, refi was done. Our monthly payment was lowered by $ 200 so my husband and I were very thankful to Janice. I’m embarrassed I wasn’t even able to send her a card for all her help. Sorry Janice, I was so busy all this time. I’d like to let you know how grateful we are for you and your team at the Walnut Creek office. Keep up the excellent work you guys do and see you when we get our second home haha. :-)

Janice is fantastic! Right from the first conversation I had with her on the phone, it has been a wonderful experience till date. She educates not only in terms of what the options are but also in terms of which option is more suited to our needs. She’s excellent at what she does, gets things done for us in time(or before time!) and is very approachable in case of any question or concern. I highly recommend her!

A five star review for a mortgage loan officer? Seriously? Yes, seriously. Janice is a superhero. A miracle worker. Simply amazing. Here is my TRUE story with Janice(who does not know I’m creating this page!): back in 2008, my stepsister somehow managed to buy a home in Sacramento with zero down on an FHA loan. Janice was her broker and my sister LOVED her. My sister is just a regular working gal like the rest of us, workin’ hard for the money at a thankless low-paying job, and had never talked to be about becoming a homeowner, and boom! One day she was! And all was well. At the time, I had been a renter in SF for 18 years and you know what that means — the prospect of buying a home seems as remote as that of putting on your jet-pack and flying to work. Or the moon. But the seed was planted. 08 was not a great year for me and I was chased out of SF by a seriously psychotic landlord, and the lure of a new job in Marin, into the saddest little apartment complex in Marin County. I had toasted credit, a massive sense of culture shock, and no ambitions of owning a home. Ever. But the seed was planted. A year or so later I wrote to Janice and mentioned my sister’s name, told her all my woes, and said ‘what am I going to have to do to become a homeowner?’ and she told me. And I did what she told me to do. I slowly paid off all my debt, got some new credit, and generally prepped like a débutante for a cotillion. We waited and waited, watching my credit score rise, until it hit that magic number required to get an FHA loan(you can forget a conventional loan unless you have stellar credit and 20% down) at which point we sprung into action like hungry tigers on a wounded antelope. And long story short, suffice it to say that I know own a lovely 3 bedroom home in Central Marin and I could not have done it without Janice. She is NOJOKE, and is straightforward, POSITIVE, and awesome to work with(and she got me a crazy low interest rate). She takes care of you after the fact, too — about a month ago I found out through no fault of my own that my homeowner’s insurance had lapsed due to a f***up between the title insurance company and the insurance broker and Janice got to whipping them into shape until my policy was taken care of. She sends out monthly newsletters that are full of ACTUALLYINTERESTING material(true, no lie) and a POSITIVE message. She also is committed to bettering her community and asked me what charities I work with so that she could explore her options for ‘paying it forward.‘ I know that if I’m in the market for a new home or a refi, Janice is the only person I will call. In a world of sharks, it’s hard to know whom to trust, and I feel VERY lucky that Janice came into my life. You will be too.
