After two long years of looking, I finally found a house to buy in the bloated, overpriced Bay Area Housing market! Julia was with me the whole way, even in my failed efforts to compete for a house. She was helpful, supportive, professional, giving me advice and apprising me of my options. And then, when the miracle happened, and I found a house I could afford… and my financial situation was adequate to the challenge… she and my realtor worked together to make it happen in less than a month. I needed to move fast, and her warmth, expertise, clarity, and efficiency helped me compete for my house, and succeed at last. She got me the best interest rate, explained all the details of the process, coached me through every step, and made the entire process smooth as silk. I actually looked forward to my visits to her office to provide the necessary documents, and so forth. She is a lovely person as well as a great mortgage broker… and she made me feel competent! (Although I have a feeling it was really her competence coupled with her skill at communicating what she needed from me!!!) I can’t recommend her highly enough.

I trust Julia completely, she has helped my clients in too many ways to count. Always available and with a very close attention to detail, Julia never ceases to amaze. This review is much overdue, but as first time homebuyers, my boyfriend and I had a lot of questions. Julia was very patient, and willing to answer all of our questions. Even almost 9 months later, Julia is still happy to help, or refer us to a more qualified person. She got us the best rate possible, explained what every tax, charge, fee, etc was in a detailed manner and took the time to make sure that we understood everything. She is professional, funny, patient, and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend her to anyone!

Julia has helped us with two refi’s as rates have dropped over the last few years, and I couldn’t imagine negotiating this difficult process by myself or with anyone else. I’ll throw all the important adjectives out so they’re not missed: reliable, trustworthy, professional, knowledgeable, detailed, and endlessly ethical. But more important she is also incredibly likeable and a joy to work with. As other reviewers have alluded, the refi process with Julia was transparent and seemed as if it wasn’t even happening. Do yourselves a favor and take a vacation from your concerns about refinancing by letting Julia handle it.
