The woman who runs the place is very rude! Despite not having any waiters they have a ridiculous policy where they force you to give a 10% tip when you spend more than $ 60. So basically, they are penalizing you for spending more money than usual. This wouldn’t be weird if this was a place with servers, but there are no servers or tables for that matter. When I asked about it, the manager snarled«the people here work on servers wages!» I was thinking to myself«well, pay them more and if you have to raise your prices, then do it.» The current system is dishonest. It’s the restaurant equivalent of an «activation fee.» I can’t deal with a place that is that rude to it’s customers.

Best pizza on the island. Thin crust, extra cheesy, best eaten when folded. Buy by the slice or order the whole pie. Large and varied selection of toppings. Authentic NY style pizza made by authentic New Yorkers.

After years of being underwhelmed by Island Pizza, we decided to give Beach Piez a try. What we got was a slight improvement. Thinner crust(allegedly NY style), but otherwise quite similar. The homemade sausage on the Meat Lover’s pizza was good, but everything else was average. Probably the best pizza on the island, but don’t get too excited. Meh.

Inconsistent quality. The first time I ordered from here, the pizza was one of the best I’ve had. The second time, the pizza was one of the worst I’ve ever had. If they could consistently provide pizza as good as the first one i got from them, they’d easily earn 5 stars. As is, the second pizza was so bad that 2 is stretching it.

Amazing Gluten Free pizza! If I didn’t want to check out other restaurants while visiting I might of gone more than once. Lasted more than one meal. Wasn’t sure of my exact address so I had to pick it up. Wish they could of figured out where I was based on cottages. The island is only so big…

Pretty speedy delivery in inclement weather. Glad I didn’t have to drive in the rain. Tipped accordingly. Pizza arrived hot, cheese pie was standard fare and had a thin and chewy crust. This pie didn’t change the world, but it was good enough to keep my belly full and round out a vacation. A considerable step above a chain pie place, but nothing like a fresh pie straight from a brick oven.

Good place to grab a quick bite and take back to your house/condo/hotel. Not sure if they deliver but the pizza is very NY style(thin and floppy) all based on personal preference. The staff was nice and greeted you when you walked int he door, and the place was nice and clean.

Pizza was good but could not understand why a gratuity was added to my pizzas when I walked up and ordered and waited 45 minutes so my four pizzas were 97 $ and I paid almost 14 $ in gratuity for what??? I could see paying something if it was delivered and we put a tip in the tip car and they got a gratuity for what? that just does not sit well to add something to a bill when all she did was take my order? crazy to me…

We went here last week while on our vacation in Sanibel. It just so happened to be the only pizza place we saw on our initial drive through the town and we were in the mood for pizza a couple days into the trip. Tired of eating at restaurants we wanted to eat in for once. The pizza was awesome and my father in law said it was probably his favorite pizza, ever. It’s a bit on the greasy side but the taste is great. We got a pepperoni and cheese and a cheese and green peppers. A few days later and we ordered a couple more. They were still great. The only thing that was kinda meh was the price. At nearly $ 40 for 2 pizzas it’s high but since it was as good as it was it made it worthwhile.

No need for a lot of words. This is good pizza. I ate it and really enjoyed it. It didn’t change my life. Hungry for pizza? This place will do the job.

Bad attitude but good pizza. My family ordered a pie and the owner thought it was outrageous that I asked for a paper plates for my 4 year old daughter and 8 year old son. She explained that you only get plates for slices(our $ 25 pizza came in a box). I offered to pay for paper plates and she refused. The pizza was good but I rather support a business that appreciated it’s customers.

Best pizza on the island! Oversized slices with generous toppings, a tasty sauce and plenty of cheese. It may be a little pricey if buying by the slice(about $ 8 for two), but they are delicious and quite filling. The meatball sub is also a winner, with flavorful homemade meatballs sliced atop a fresh hoagie roll, served piping hot with GOBS of melted mozzarella cheese. Yummo! Friendly staff and convenient location makes this an easy stop for tourists and locals alike!

Fresh tasting toppings and cheese but the Ragu flavored sauce and so-so crust left us with an unremarkable impression. We had higher expectations and were overall disappointed. Why is it that Sanibel can’t produce some really good pizza? Off island we go again next time.

Descent pizza but tell the help to be a bit frIendlier! People on Sanibel are usually very laid back and friendly. Rude does not equal charming. It wasn’t just a one time thing and it wasn’t just us. They treated everyone in there the same. It’s a pizza counter on an island, smile, chat, answer questions… basic courtesy. Smiles are free!

Remarkably good pizza. Coming from a town with a number of really excellent pizza places, our expectations were low. Reviews of pizza places in general on Sanibel were hilariously bad, so we expected the worst. But it was 8:00 and we had already taken our pants off, so pizza delivery was the only option for dinner tonight. We ordered the«white pie» but substituted meatballs for the spinach. It ended up being good! Good toppings, a crust that was thin but still a little chewy, and timely delivery. My only complaint was that it had obviously been tossed around in transit, so the pieces were all over the place. That would have been a much bigger problem for a variety with more sauce, but this was just an olive oil base. The same pizza at home would be 3 stars, but I guess we’ll trade amazing beaches for decent pizza and happily settle for this here in Sanibel.

Tasty thin crust and fresh ingredients. Would have earned 4 stars but middle of pie was overcooked. Great place to pick up on your way to the beach.

Restaurants on Sanibel are generally very hit or miss and I honestly wasn’t expecting much when my daughter insisted we order pizza tonight for her birthday. Beach Piez has been open just a few weeks, but it was a great surprise– delicious, non-greasy pizza with plenty of flavor. I focused on the white pizza, with spinach and garlic, but my family also enjoyed the meat special and the plain cheese. It’s not cheap– close to $ 20 a pie seems ridiculous(you could buy a really good steak at Bailey’s for that) but thank goodness there’s now a decent pizzeria on Island!
