Antojitos Hector: Taco Stand

I can’t top the reviewer that said he loves getting cabeza here, but I will say that males and females alike will very much enjoy filling their mouths with the hot meat (I recommend the asada) that this little truck of happiness provides. By far the best tacos at the corner of Main and Elk, and most likely the entire state of California. They fill these taco to the brim, so much so that if the taco was an obese person wearing a button up shirt, the buttons would be earning time and a half. Fortunately this place is near an area known for gang shootings and general criminal activity, so dainty little tight pant wearing hipsters/“foodie” types (my only real disdain in life) will ideally be too nervous to venture out of their Honda Fits to stop and partake (take note Santa Ana gangsters… we need a gang shooting per month to keep them away). Bottom line, this place serves top notch food. They are a hard working family that enjoys what they do… something that everybody can support.

Had some tacos the other night and they were pretty good. I ordered two chicken tacos with just meat and two asada and one Al pastor tacos with a side of beans and rice. I think I offended the guy buy asking for the breakdown of the charge. But I tipped them for their work. I waited ten to fifteen minutes at their rush perhaps but worth it. The guy was super nice and came out to give me my food. In my bag it was packed nice and safe and the beans he gave to me I hand. I just wish I knew their hours

Highly recommend Antojitos Hector! They are consistently good each time I visit. You won’t be disappointed from the Tacos, Tortas, Burritos or Quesadillas. All of which are amazing. Hector has my loyalty!

The tacos are more spectacular than a golden unicorn soaring over a candy rainbow… delicioso! I am amazed every time I go here. Last week the owner gave me great cabeza, taco that is. He is a magician with seasonings and at handling his spatula. This is a quaint, family run taco stand that produces great food.

Good tacos and bomb quesadillas! They are super friendly and very fast on giving you the food! Will definitely come back again

These Tacos are amazing! I tried the Al Pastor Tacos and they did not disappoint. I no longer have to drive to Tacos El Gordo. No exaggeration but these are the best tacos I’ve had in Orange County.

Came home today after a long day of hard work and was extremely starving. Only problem is the parking sucks so bad where I live so you could imagine I would want to get home asap! I’ve noticed this taco stand outside my apts and was interested especially seeing that there is always people there. I tell my roommate «hey instead of ordering a pizza let’s check this dude out I got a good feeling»… Absolutely MF DELICIOUS! The fact that it took me about 30 sec to get there was even more cooler. I highly recommend this spot especially because its traditional, fast, and fair priced. I will warn you the red chile has a bit of a kick to it so I wouldn’t drench your food with it if you’re a lightweight ;)

This red salsa is the most spicy sauce i have tried. I love it. Service is courteous. Authentic awesome taco stand
