Our favorite mall food spot. I always order the chicken and beef combo which comes with rice and veggies. The teriyaki sauce that goes with it isn’t to overpowering where it tastes like all your eating is meat soaked in teriyaki sauce. The veggies are good to not over cooked and soggy. There are other places to eat at the food court but we always go to this place.

Time for another honest reviews. I been to other mall locations that have a similar selection, i wont name name them because that shit is tacky. But from all the malls in my area. This place has the best tasting teriyaki in all mall’s. Now before you assholes start naming places in hawii or something. I am talking about mall food, mall food generally is trash. But this has a different better taste. And 4 stars goes to the best tasting mall food. I would like to end this review with elites giving this place anything below 4 stars. You assholes are comparing this place to the magic room in disney.

This place is pretty good to be honest LOL good portion for a good price! I was walking around the main place food court and 4.99 for a huge plate of chicken, rice, and veggies? Count me in! My bf got the beef and chicken plate, roughly 6 – 7 $? Don’t remember but he enjoyed it too, especially bc the beef was cooked on the spot! Customer service was outstanding. They give a huge cup of teriyaki sauce if you ask for it. Bang for your buck, I’d probably come back when I’m around the area! We both left full bellied and satisfiedddddd.

Went there today at 6PM and was incredibly disappointed with the service. This is my go to place for food when I visit the mall and I usually love it. The food is good for the price as long as you get sauce on the side. However, today was different. The cashier was super lovely and I have nothing to say about the grill guy as he’s working solo and hars. It was the helper? girl who threw me off. I assume it’s the same girl from the other reviews(light skin, dark hair, packed on makeup) because she was so rude. She was trying to get orders cooking ahead of time which is great but just rudely yelled at customers including me «What are do you want?». She seemed impatient and bothered by everything asked. I work food industry so I know it gets hard but you can’t just be a complete jerk from the start. The girl at the register was nice and welcoming which means this isn’t a complete disappointment but rather just that employee. She needs get rid of the attitude or leave.

This is located in the Main Place mall in Santa Ana, inside the food court area near the bottom of the elevators to the movie theater. The place is hard to miss cause there’s a giant $ 5 sign for the chicken bowl, which is what I got. The chicken is made with a type of teriyaki tasting sauce and comes with vegetables over a bed of rice. Overall it was decent, but it was quite greasy in some parts and it didn’t taste all that great cause of it and the sauce that was used which I felt was a bit sweet. However, for $ 5, it as a lot of food and definitely made me quite full by the end of it. They have other options such as using beef or having your meat with pineapples in them. Sort of reminds me of that chicken bowl place in the Westminster mall(not sure if that is still there).

If I could I would give this place ZERO stars I stopped by to buy food here for the first time at 5pm and the 2 girls working were so disrespectful worst customer service EVER! I was in line and a mom and her son were waiting in front of me when the 6/7yr old asked for a straw the cashier gave him an attitude and pointed at the straws and said«their right there» 5 secs later she threw one in his tray. The mom obviously reacted and told her if that’s how she treats her customers and she didn’t even bother apologizing she just asked the next customer what she wanted. I was waiting for a few mins not knowing how it works getting your order I asked one of the cooks and said ask the girl and pointed at the cook she gave me a dirty look and attitude. So this other cook was so helpful and gave me my order right away when he noticed how they treated me! I wish I could have got names! Never again!!!

Worst customer service ever… The girl with glasses that took our order had the rudest attitude. Me and my boyfriend were kind of sketch about ordering from here but decided it looked pretty good. Worst decision ever! We both ordered the #1 and we both got sick from here. Never coming back!

the meat is good: 0% knuckle pieces, chopped up, and well-cooked(slightly charred) in front of you. served w non– gross veggies and too much rice, and that was just the regular size. kinda like the greasy cousin of flame broiler. it’s now my first choice to eat when I’m stuck in the food court.

For the first time I came here I didn’t like the atmosphere at all but it was a good deal and I love teriyaki bowls. I was so disappointed on how the food tasted. The whole plate tasted very salty and blah. I guess I got what I paid for then. Just go to Banda or Great Khan.

Food is very good. I like coming to this place, however, they must have hired a new employee. Yedit, yes that is her name, took my order which was one item, then proceeded to take a young man’s order behind me. We ordered the exact same thing. And, Yedit decided to give this young man his order first. Then, proceeded to ask me with an attitude if my order was for here or to go. Insinuating that it was my fault that the young man got his order first. I sternly told her for here, since we never had an issue until her attitude. And, she gave me my order later. I then went up to her and politely asked her what her name was. She told me Yedit. I then thanked her for my order, and told her she had a pretty name. And now, the review. She’s young, so she has some learning to do. Don’t be rude to your customer, and always fill orders in which they are received. Especially if it’s the exact same order and a woman happened to order before a young man. Kids. Haha

Lot of food for around $ 5, and it’s decent. Pretty much get what you pay for.

Worst service. The cashiers can’t speak up over the loud grill. The chefs don’t listen to a customers request for more chicken or beef. Over did it with the sauce, but that’s just me. Could use friendlier employees and not just employees that stare at you. Stop being stubborn with the beef and chicken. The place could use a cleaning. But I have I have to say the race and vegetables were pretty good.

Worst customer service at the cashier. Those two girls seem to make it hell to order food, the cooks on the other hand are wonderful. Would probably not go here again until new cashiers are hired, because although the food is great, customer service is hell.

Hair on food(refer to pictures). Messy, unorganized service held up the line. Cashier in front wearing glasses was rude, inattentive, brushed off customer’s questions. Food was greasy, meager. Consider other options.

I stopped here on a whim because this place looked new and the food looked enticing enough. There were two people in front of me and later on three more after. I could tell the cooks and the helper stated to get confused between the orders. After the two in front of me picked up their food(about 10 minutes), the cashier came over and picked up what supposed to be my order and gave it to the last customer in line. When I told her why she did that she didn’t say anything and pretended she didn’t hear me(perhaps that was her friend?). I asked for my money back since I didn’t want to wait another 10 minutes. The owner of this place should know what kind of fools he hired; they’re ruining the business

We walked by this place and she gave us a sample of the chicken that was on the grill, very yummy. We came back after making a circle to get a rice plate with chicken, because it was so good. She gave us the chicken that she was sampling. Along with the veggies that were sitting on the grill with the sampling chix. It can’t be that hard to cook us some fresh food!

Tasty and not as busy as the surrounding places. Customer service was great, they cook the meat/food to your liking. I got a plate with beef and shrimp and asked for veggies instead of rice. I also asked for no sauce since Im trying to cut down on the sugars. Clean eating at it’s best for it being fast food haha :)

Had the chicken beef combo plate. The to go plate was very heavy with the rice. For $ 7.51 it was really enough food for two. The taste was mediocre. Had them add a little extra sauce. Problem comes 20 minutes later. Spent 10 minutes in the bathroom. Never eating there again

This is my go-to place when it’s a «mall food court» kind of day. You can’t beat the $ 4.99 deal and you always know what to expect. I haven’t experienced too long of a wait here, but I also start my lunch hour at 11:30, so that could be a big reason why. The portions are large, so if you don’t eat a lot at once, you have dinner for tonight! TIP: Expect a LOT of people in this area of the mall on Tuesdays during the summer/school breaks. It’s when the movie theater has $ 1 tickets and everybody goes… it may be a little harder finding a seat, but thankfully, CA Plate is on the side where you’ll always manage to find something.
