I found out about Salon Del Mar from the Axxess card (50% off for first visit). Anthony cut and highlighted my hair. Very happy with how it turned out. Anthony was personable and fun to talk to during the appointment.

Visited this salon on a whim because of the Axxess card, and I’m SO glad I did. Jacob is fantastic– I’ve had many blowouts, had my hair styled all sorts of ways but the updo he did for me was probably the most beautiful my hair has ever been. I got so many compliments all night– AND the braid lasted from 9 am when I got it done until well past midnight. Definitely go to Jacob if you need to look gorgeous for an event– 5 stars!

I have never Unilocaled, and I do NOT like to leave a negative one, but 5 weeks ago I had my highlights/​trim done by Chelsea, a sweet and convivial young woman, and it’s one of the worst jobs I’ve ever had in my 2 decades of highlighting. I’d shown her a photo of me from the last job and explained I needed the application close to the roots for the volume, and that I didn’t want an abrupt line when it grew out, which can be camouflaged using lowlights. When I returned from a trip a month later, my roots had already grown out ¾ inch! (And I do not mainline Rogaine!) This was unacceptable; I’m used to doing highlights every 3 months. So I arranged to go in for a fix. She put in partial lowlights this time and smoothed the color break with a toner, fine — but this time it completely washed out the texture! And then she charged me $ 100! I’m going to another salon today to do the job I’d requested, but already I’ve spent $ 300 on an unsatisfactory job. At least the view there was nice…

Had a set appt., stylist took me in nearly 40 mins late, was rushed and flustered. As a result, the updo looked sloppy and unprofessional, asked for a simple correction, which led to a complete redo of the updo… Did I mention he was already 40 mins behind schedule? In the end, I was told by several people that my style looked like a simple bun. If you are picky, and you should be when you are spending generous amounts to make yourself look beautiful, choose your stylist wisely, I did not have a choice and was assigned to this stylist. My advice for stylists that don’t work well under pressure, «if you can’t stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen!»

I recommend going to Salon Del Mar to anyone looking to receive professional service while having a fun, relaxing atmosphere (ocean view). The stylists there are super helpful and down to earth individuals, I felt so welcomed. I went in to get extensions by Anthony, and I can honestly say I am happily satisfied with the results! He did such a beautiful job, it’s easy to tell he loves what he does.

I was delighted to find out that Anthony is still cutting hair in town after having a terrible experience at his old salon with another stylist. He offered to fix my horrible cut for free.
First of all, the salon is so cute with ocean views in the Fess Parker. I felt like I was on a vacation. They even validate parking. The location is just incredible and the feel of it is great.
Anthony is incredibly personable and passionate about what he’s doing. He fixed another stylist’s rush job because he loves what he does. He listens and makes sure you are 100% satisfied before you leave. No one has ever cut my hair quite so well and I think it’s because he has a really immense understanding for how hair looks and moves. Just like the first cut I got from him, I walked out feeling like a movie star. I’m so happy to have followed him to this new salon!

Go see Chelsy! My hair has never looked better. She listened to what I wanted and did great balyage highlights and haircut. Chelsy was great to talk to, funny and kind. Icing on the cake is the salon has an ocean view!

This place is the best! Have gotten my haircut from almost every stylist and they all have done an amazing job. They even offered me drinks and food when I was waiting for my appointment. Can’t say enough good things.

I love this place! Jacob is the best, he did a great job on my low-​light/​hombre look. He was also friendly and made my experience fast, efficient and a lot of fun. From this point on I will not go to anyone besides Jacob because I know he will always do a great job. so, I don’t have to stress and I know I will always get the look I am going for.

I loved this place! I got a haircut with Chelsy and she was just great. I’ve been looking for a good hair stylist that could understand my type of hair and what I wanted (had no previous success) and she knew exactly what I needed. I’m really happy with my haircut and I loved the scent of their products! The view from the salon and the beautiful sea side area is a plus! Will definitely come back.

Hair, makeup, nails, and a view oh my! This salon is located right off the beach with an incredible panoramic view from every chair. A talented staff is there to make you look your best.
I love that this is located in the Double Tree so that you actually feel like your on vacation. This is the place to go for any big event or just for routine services.

The salon looks recently redone – very clean and nice. Everyone was very nice, and I had a fabulous manicure/​pedicure. Well worth the price, I’ll be back.

I have been looking for a new salon and thought I’d try this one using their Axxess deal. I think this was the worst haircut I’ve ever had. My hairdresser was 15 minutes late, tangled my hair, dropped a hairdryer on my head, used product after I told him not to, and gave me an awful haircut when all I asked for was a very simple trim. I asked for my layers to be trimmed to chin height, and he cut them at least 1.5″ above my chin. He also didn’t trim the back nearly enough. Even at 50% off, this was a waste of time and money.

You probably couldn’t find a salon with a better view. I went in for a wedding-​hair trial, and my stylist, Sherrie, got it spot on — she even coordinated someone to do a make-​up trail at the same time! She listened to what I thought I wanted, and created something better than I could have imagined. My maid of honor and mom loved hanging out there, even for a lengthy appointment (those trails do take time). But it went by so fast! Couldn’t be happier to have Salon Del Mar do my look for my wedding.

Love this Salon! Jacob did an amazing job on my hair! Keratin treatment and cut and I will definitely be going back. My hair is dyed red and fades quickly and the keratin has made the red last much longer and looks silky and healthy. Such a beautiful salon with a view of the beach. The stylists there are super nice and helpful and it was a great experience. I highly recommend this salon they will make your hair look gorgeous!

Every experience at Salon Del Mar is wonderful. The salon has a great view of the beach and is bright, clean and nicely decorated. The stylists are all very friendly and talented. I personally go to Sherry who is amazing! She has a wealth of knowledge and an eye for colors and shapes.
I recommend the salon to everybody; I only have good things to say about it.
Parking is validated, food is delivered from the bar next to the salon, and you’ll leave with your hair and/​or makeup looking like you belong in Hollywood.

Excellent customer service! Sherry gave our 6 week old daughter her 1^st haircut and baby looks beautiful. Sherry was gentle, patient and attentive and you can’t beat the spectacular ocean & sailboat views. Highly recommended!

I love the new Salon Del Mar! It’s under new ownership and it looks beautiful inside! I went to the opening and loved looking at their new product lines and checking out the new décor.
My go-​to girl is Sherry and she’s amazing. I love going to her for a cut & color because she always does a great job. She is very open minded and also offers tips based on your needs and wants.
When it comes to eyebrows, I am super lazy about taking care of them so I go to Sherry for an eyebrow wax and tint!
They also do makeup and nails I believe but I haven’t had either of these services yet.
Overall I really love the atmosphere and friendly, relaxed vibe in the salon. Awesome people working there and you can’t beat the view of the ocean as you get pampered!
