Rarely have I ever experienced a Office Manager/​Receptionist/​Billing person that has ever been as rude as Roxanne. I can’t believe she is still employed to play these roles. I choose to never call or visit this facility again and feel there are several others that will follow.
There is plenty of other doctors in this town that can assist in taking care of podiatry needs.

Unfortunately, I, like others who have written previously, also had a bad experience here. I attempted to kindly reach the doctor to discuss my concerns with him. When those calls went unanswered, I contacted the BBB. In turn, instead of addressing my concerns, the Foot Clinic sent a rebuttal to the BBB that falsely attacked my character. After reading similar reviews on Unilocal,Edhat, CitySearch, and InsiderPages, I feel vindicated.

My first visit was fine.
Roxanne called me Friday to confirm a follow up appointment — I ask if I could extend the follow up to the next week– she then said no, he’s super busy– she was coercing me to show up– it was distressful.
So I call her again to ask a few questions the day off since she was so abrasive the first time — I told her I’m a student and have concerns with my follow up not becoming a recurring thing– and I asked about cost– her first reaction was –it’s a 50 $ cancellation fee–
She is a bully with backwards thinking — she asked for me to send a check to the office for cancelling — instead I’ll be sending a better business bureau letter.
If there is an attempt to rebuttal my review I’m sure anyone conniving will say anything.
I can’t believe that woman–

Dr. Aposperis is just the best (this from someone who has six foot surgeries!) Absolutely the best. So thorough, so patient, so attentive, so kind. You are treated like family from the moment you step into the office. And Roxanne is a joy. Thanks so much…

I smashed my toe into a concrete stair, causing a painful cyst to form that wouldn’t resolve on its own. I received excellent care, from making the appointment to receiving treatment. Dr. Aposperis was very gentle and candid about treatment options. The bump hasn’t completely resolved, but the pain is gone. I’m hopeful the bump goes away soon, too! If I ever needed future foot care, I would return without hesitation.

My poor old feet have been under the care of Dr. Aposperis for several years now. My work involves long days of standing and my relaxation is long days of hiking so I need to take care of these guys! More recently my wife has received help from Dr. A and my two teenage kids have received excellent help with sports-​related injuries. The small office is family run and I have to say they take care of their patients as though they too are family. Dr. Aposperis is knowledgeable, thorough and informative. I never feel as though I’m being rushed through the system.
Like a previous poster I am shocked to read the one poor review and in fact find it rather suspicious as nothing in it fits the profile that I have experienced.

I very rarely see doctors as I don’t trust them. I have to say that after throbbing pain, I had to research foot pain and doctors in Santa Barbara for 5 hours before deciding to calling Dr. Aposperic’s office. Talking with Roxanne on the phone and then going to him was what Doctor’s office should be about! They were knowledgeable, friendly, informative, helpful and pleasant. Complete opposite of the horrible medical system in which you get shuffled around by anonymous nurse and doctors like at the Cottage Hospital system. Also I saw the negative review by Crystal and shocked — my experience was NOTHING like what she said and I would at least call and ask any question on the phone before you decide whether to go to them.

I was visiting SBA and had a problem with my feet which I wanted to take care without waiting until I got home in a month. What a wonderful experience dealing with Dr Aposperis and his entire staff. Roxanne is the best receptionist ever! Very efficient in scheduling, and Roxanne called me back to confirm 2 days before my follow-​up appointment. Dr Aposperis was very detailed in explaining the problem I had and the treatment options. I like a Dr who actually communicates what he is thinking and doesn’t just make a treatment decision for you. Dr Aposperis was just terrific!
