Sequel has really improved and they do a good job. I’m a fan and will go back for a blow out and cut. They accommodate people and make the experience pleasant!

Best salon in Montecito! Itzel is incredible as are the other stylists. Appointments are so easy to book– atmosphere is wonderful, I always walk out feeling beautiful!

Fabian is by far an artist! He can make any women feel super sexy leaving his salon! I know I do! Can’t wait to get back in his seat love you Babian

I took my 83-​year-​old mom and aunt here for a shampoo and a blow dry. The staff were so sweet and helpful. Very caring and attentive to what the ladies wanted for their hair.
The location is perfect right in the heart of Montecito with very easy parking right in the front.

Twila gave me an awesome blow dry. She was fast and gentle. she is no rookie like the other blowdry places that have newbies working. The salon is beautiful and they carry the best new products on the market. The blowdry was only $ 25!!! I would’ve paid more.

I took a chance and wandered in. Holly did shampoo (awesome!) and blow dry. I have fine hair but she did a fabulous job with it and the style lines stayed in. I highly recommend her and the salon. And they were open on Monday!

I loved my hair cut from Fabian (the owner)! I came to Santa Barbara for a girls getaway weekend, and felt like I needed a change from my super long hair. Fabian had great ideas and advice about what to do with layers, how much to cut, etc. You can trust him! I love my hair and felt so great after my hair cut, so much dead weight was gone. The salon is also very classy. Now I’m going to have to come back to Santa Barbara for my next haircut!

I have been coming to Fabian (the owner) longer than I have ever stayed with a stylist and that’s over 10 years now. I rarely tell him what to do. I say things to him like «change it, cut it, or I’m over it «then let him do his magic. I have never left the salon feeling less then beautiful. He knows how to make me look very glamorous, super edgy, or just plain natural if I want. There have been times I wanted him to do something and he would refuse (shave the sides of my head and dye them magenta
, or have dreadlocks for example.) Yes my spontaneity has got me in trouble. I shutter to remember those ideas now.
He is very professional and insists on the same from his staff. I need that and cleanliness in a salon. They are on top of the new trends without being too trendy. They have great products and always stay current providing the staff with cut, color and product classes. I know this because I can’t get an appointment during those times.
I have never not been able to get an appointment at those URGENT times and it seems like I have lots. If he isn’t available he oversees the stylist that is to make sure they do it the way he would.
They totally stand behind there work and their products. There were a few times I didn’t care for a product and they refunded my money without hesitation. Once we tried a new color I disliked immediately and he refused to charge me and gave me another appointment the following day.
Sequel feels like home and I don’t pay the outrageous prices this area often commands. I am very grateful to Sequel and Fabian for always being here for me.
If your looking for a special occasion hairdo or a new stylist I couldn’t recommend a better place in Santa Barbara or Montecito.

I have the HARDEST hair to blowdry, I see Holli at Sequel Salon and not only does she do the BEST blowdry she also has made my hair the prettiest blonde I have ever had.

Once again, my stylist June heard my requests and styled a longer ‘bob’ & colored with a bit more salt than pepper. You’re the best!

I moved to the west coast 11 months ago from NYC and needed to find a hairstylist. I get my hair highlighted. I tried out 4 different salons and none of the stylists understood what I wanted so over time my hair become a bleached blond mess. I luckily discovered Twila at Sequel and have been so incredibly grateful for what she’s done for me. My hair finally looks normal again, very blended and natural looking. The cut she did for me was beautiful and I get so many compliments. Twila is incredibly kind and welcoming. It was such a huge relief to meet her! The salon is really lovely, very friendly and clean. I highly recommend Sequel. I’m sure all the stylists are great but of course I will always be going to Twila.

Fabian has taken me from youth to middle age with grace and style and I just know I will be one hot (but appropriate) older lady when that time comes. He is an absolute genius … but not only with hair. He’s also incredibly discerning when it comes to the people he hires, so I know I can take myself or any member of my family to any of his stylists and expect top-​notch service. Also — did I mention how nice everyone is? WE LOVE SEQUEL!

I am new to Sequel, but not to June Stowe, who has been my stylist for years. I would follow her anywhere, and I don’t let anyone else touch my hair! She’s been in the biz a long, long time, but keeps up-​to-​date on current techniques and trends in the industry. I truly wouldn’t go to anyone else. She is an amazing designer, an expert at all kinds of cuts: from edgy to classic, boho to super-​chic, shortest of short to just plain and straight. She is a whiz at color, too. Strangers often stop me in stores or on the street to ask: «Who cuts your hair?!» or «Who colors your hair? It looks so natural!» June listens to YOU, works with you to make sure your style is exactly what you want. (Too, the salon is lovely, with easy parking and great shopping nearby.) She trims my bangs for free, too! I’ve recommended her to so many people. My mom and my 16-​year-​old son both go to her, too, so you know that June has a talent to please any one, any age!

I love this salon for both hair and nails. I get my nails done by Vivie and she is the BEST. It is the cleanest place in the Santa Barbara area, the service is honest and quick and her products are of the highest quality. I would not go anywhere else.

This salon has a very vibrant atmosphere and is staffed by the some of the most talented and experienced cosmotologists/​stylists in the area. A full range of beauty treatments and services are offered for both women and men. An added benefit is that this salon is open seven days a week with Sunday and Monday normally by appointment.
