This has to be the worst and smallest Goodwill I’ve ever been to!!! Do not go here, it is pretty much the worst of things that were on display. You will not likely find any«hidden gems» here. I came for a simple basket to complete a Halloween costume and there were only 2 baskets total. Everything looked dirty and worthy only of donating to the poor, not reselling to the public.

Small store and a really cramped parking lot. It’s right on a corner so there’s a traffic light, a busy intersection and sometimes horrific parking. Bad, because they also have a donation area with a huge trailer on it. So it eats up quite a few spaces. Anyhow, the interior is small and I’d say this store is about 80% clothing and then 15% other items like knickknacks, housewares, books, linens, and lil’ stuff. Not much furniture, so don’t expect a lot –I’d go to Salvation Army near Winchester or to the Goodwill in Mountain View(although that place is starting to look like a hot mess now –see my updated review). Staff has always been really nice here. If you’re not into«new», as in you require perfection, predictability in stock and matchy-matchy(things I can’t stand), you’ll love shopping in the thrifts. One can find some great deals and unusual items here. I’ve found some majorly good deals here: Tori Burch, Dooney & Bourke, Coach, Makowsky, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, and the like. But this is over a period of years, so don’t expect to find that on the random visit. They’re fairly good at editing stuff down. I think that’s the downfall of the MV store. It’s like a giant cavern so things get overlooked. Here, they have little space so have to go through stuff and pare items down. Nicely organized in sections. But you still have to dig in areas to find a deal.

This Goodwill used to be my go-to place before they started catering to the hipster crowd willing to pay more for less. I had built most of my professional wardrobe from this store with items that lasted longer than the cheap sweatshop mess bought from the now defunct Mervyns. I first noticed the decline in attractive clothing about 2 years ago. I thought I was simply coming in at bad times(too late in the day or after a big sale), so I kept my hopes up and kept coming back. I should have known something was up when they installed a TV running C-list music videos a la MTV. But I was loyal due to my great past experiences. I finally had to say goodbye once I was sure it wasn’t my bad timing, but the overall quality of goods had sunk AND they had the audacity to increase prices. I distinctly remember the last time I was here: after flipping through a few undesirable clothes, a fellow patron next to me sighed and said, «their stuff is really shi**y now, huh?» Couldn’t have said it better myself. Thankfully, Goodwill’s decline has led me to explore other stores like Savers that have great values(giving to the community) and deals($$$) that I would have never tried had I held onto this crutch. There are better thrift stores out there.

I really love this Goodwill when it comes to children’s items. I’m always finding new things for my son :). The people that work at this store are really friendly and helpful :)
