Kuk Sool Won Santa Clarita Family Martial Arts

My teenage son was struggling with keeping his grades up. He lacked concentration in school. We had tried a few extra curriculum activities to help him with discipline and to help him focus, but nothing was helping. We signed him up for Kook Sool Won at Santa Clarita Martial Arts about 7 months ago. He is not only learning, personal self defense, but most important self discipline. His grades have significantly improved. My husband and I give full credit to Santa Clarita Martial Arts for the positive change in my son. We could not be happier that my son finally found something to be passionate about.
The trainers, Sydney and Nathan are not only exceptionally supportive and professional, but make it so that teens and kids feel comfortable and they provide a safe space where there is no judgment.

We don’t get up to Santa Clarita very often, but it’s always a treat when we do! Nathan and Sydney are amazing martial artists who also happen to be great teachers. They will help you get in fantastic shape while also teaching you how to defend yourself. They both use humor and compassion in meeting each student where they are and taking them to the next level. This is a traditional martial art that covers not only the techniques and forms, but that also helps you explore your spiritual side. Can’t say enough great things about this studio. From age 5 to 99, if you are considering joining any martial art, you owe it to yourself to check this group out. And hopefully we will see you there one day soon!

I have never experienced the sense of family and personal investment from a martial arts school, like I do with Sydney and Nathan at Santa Clarita Martial Arts. their attention to detail and understanding during the learning process is hard to find anywhere but especially nice in learning a martial art.

Kuk Sool Won is a wonderful, family oriented martial art program. My family of six people have all enjoyed the benefits of KSW-​self defense, physical fitness, respect, responsibility, courage, honor, knowledge and most importantly, FUN! No matter your age, young or old (I started in my mid-​thirties and our youngest started at 5.) It’s well worth the effort to come and check out a class!

I have recently joined Kuk Sool Won Santa Clarita and what a great journey for the mind, body and spirit! I am nearly 50 and needing to get back in shape and the work outs are fantastic, focused and melting the pounds off! You reap what you sew and I am in it for the long run!
Instructors/​Owners Nathan & Sydney are motivating and a well balanced team who genuinely strive to bring out your personal best! Everyone is very supportive and I am very happy that I joined!

There a lots of martial arts classes here in Santa Clarita. But, this is the only Kuk Sool Won school between Palmdale and North Hollywood. We have been training with Sydney KSN & Nathan PSB for nearly ten years now! They rock!!!
