Horrible — avoid at all costs. She will dump you if you have any disagreement whatsoever about money. Even if you cancel 24 hours ahead of time, she will still claim she «didn’t get the message» and will charge you. Another therapist told me that Nadel abandoned a client to the UCLA Psych ward for 5 days before returning her phone call for help. Should have her license revoked.

I have been seeing Dr Nadel for a number of years. She is a wonderful psychiatrist — warm, intelligent and thoughtful. Unlike many other psychiatrists, Dr Nadel is NOT just interested in prescribing medication. She delves into my personal life and offers brilliant insights that have significantly changed my outlook & my feelings about myself. I am now seeing Dr Nadel for medication and «talk therapy.» So, I would highly recommend her for medication, «talk therapy» or both.

During the visit she constantly checks at the clock (which she put right behind me so i won’t notice) and NEVER does any follow ups.
She says she’s available for follow ups and when I do call it goes straight to her voicemail and takes her a week to call me back.
I’ve been going to her for over a year and realized that she is a waste of time. she forgets what medicine she has prescribed me and seriously only cares about the money.
example, when we have hour long visits, she takes 30minutes to go over what the last visit was about and the actually 30 minutes she’s trying to schedule another appointment
