Love this shop! Great finds for 20’s/30’s ladies looking for contemporary, original, «beach — vibe» fashion(not Boardwalk junk) — accessories included! Monica, the botique’s sales associate, is the absolute best! She has a great eye & real knack for«putting your look together.» Thanks again Twist — definitely be back soon!

I love this store!!! I always find the right gifts not only for my friends and family, but for myself! Everybody that works there is awesome. So helpful and friendly. A real gem. Twist is a must. Support your local small business.

Although the items in Twist are cute and interesting, I noticed right away that many of the brands that I saw there were those I’d seen before when shopping at Ross. This is not a problem(Ross has plenty of cute clothes) except that at Twist they were listed at double or triple the price that I’d expect to see at Ross. If you go there, I wouldn’t recommend doing it for the clothes, but instead for the jewelry and knick-knacks, which are a little more special.

I LOVE Twist. As a Santa Monica resident, I’ve been shopping at this small boutique for years. Monica is great and really knows how to throw an outfit together and accessorize it, too. The jewelry is fun and relatively inexpensive. I often find cute little all-occasion presents for my teenage daughter, and they also have great cards, baby gifts, you name it. The clothing prices are decent and the stock is changed fairly frequently, so you’ll always see something new. It’s a great Mom & Pop shop that you should experience. Have fun!

After passing this place everyday for however long it’s been there, I decided to finally stop in. Unfortunately, they were closed. I went back the next day and although the novelty items are cute: strawberry jelly looking bacon, pickle band aids, various things dedicated to mustaches, I just wasn’t impressed. It’s actually two stores with a wall knocked down that at some point divided them. The clothing reminded me of stuff you’d find in cheap($ 10 or less) stores of LA but with SM prices. The sizing selection wasn’t great but the bummer was that I felt like I was somehow bothering the girl who works there(or owns it… dunno). She didn’t want to help me find anything and really, I had to go to her and prompt the conversation with her. I would have felt weird if not exchanging words seeing as how I was the only person there. I didn’t get that boutique feeling which is why I like the little shops more than say, Forever 21 or Macy’s. I did end up buying a top in a size too big but they only had one size of it(3 of the same tops, all in the same size?). I just don’t know how much I’d recommend this place. As for the parking, there are two dedicated spots in the alley and since it’s by the college, parking is not easy to come by. It’s across the street from Bob’s Market and next door to a new frozen yogurt type place.

Whenever my kids cannot find anything they find it here. Qualtiy is on the order of Forever 21 but without the loud music and long lines in dressing rooms. Wonderful salespeople. My only problem there was when I went in there was actually a sale going on if you had a coupon which I did not have. As a small shop courtesy they should have honored it, but of course they did not have to. I would have anyway if it was my shop. I recommend you check it out and you will have a good experience.

This store never fails. The merchandise selection is great, always has new stuff, can’t beat prices and friendly staff. I just love this store and everything about it. I will continue to be a happy customer!!! Thank you Twist!

Twist is a boutique I would recommend because the buyers have a great eye, so the place is well-stocked with fashion-forward goodies, and the prices are not outrageous. I was delighted to find scarves, blouses, sweaters, and bikinis, all of which were in season, good quality(no Santee Alley by way of Melrose merchandise here!), and just begging to be tried on. I know it’s the season for shopping for others, but I’ll be stopping here again to shop for my female family and friends, and might just get a few things for myself, too!

***SUPERDUPERCUTE*** I love fun little shops like this. Anything and everything girlie. Clothes, accessories, magnets, cards, undies, you can’t go wrong! Prices are much more reasonable that those on Main street. And guess what, there’s street parking that you don’t have to pay for! Worth the drive /bus off the beaten path.

Ooh, not many people have reviewed this place. I’m shocked– I must write! Very cute little boutique store with moderate prices. I live a couple blocks away so whenever I need a cute girlie gift I try to hit this place up first. I’ve found many a present(for myself and others!) at this store and every time I’ve been there it’s been full of stuff that screamed out to me: «TRYMEON! BUYME! LOVEME! I LOVEYOUUUUUU!» Aside from codependent clothing, this store has nice store clerks who’ve always been chatty and ready to help. I haven’t been in a while but after writing this review I’m thinking it might be time to take a stroll on down to Twist.

I love this store. When ever I wear an item from here, people always ask where I found it, or have something nice to say. I pop in there occasionally and sometimes there isn’t anything I like, BUT… their stock changes over regularly so I’m always browsing new items. The prices are low, and the staff have been helpful when I needed to try items on. They also help with accessories and other items that would look good, or were in a similar style to the clothes I was trying on. It was like having my own personal shopper. Its a hidden gem…

I adore this store. They have such a great selection and price. Ok, so it is very much in my style and I can see how it does not appeal to everyone. But I have gotten several adorable jersey dresses for about $ 30 – 40 a pop. They also have a lot very knick-knacky items that I love to look at, but never buy. I will say that more often then not, they don’t have my size on items(and they are all S, M, L). But I have found some of my all time favorite pieces here. Also, sign up for their email list and/or get their loyalty card. Neither costs anything but you reap benefits in return.

Booo, I went out of my way to check out this store and I was super dissappointed! The first word that came to my mind was CHEAP when I walked in. Now lemme say, I don’t shop at D&G or Gucci but comeon Macys is better! This place was so poorly merchandised and the clothing was borderline boring. Don’t go out of your way for this one.
