UCLA Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care Program

This support group is the best opportunity for anyone dealing with family members experiencing dementia or Alzheimer’s.
All of the participants are supporting of one another, and provide insights that one may never have been exposed to.
Dealing with this illness is clearly a «process» and without the dedication and compassion of the pioneer (Patty) and the group facilitators, I would have never been able to understand the proces, move through the stages or discovered valuable information that added to the quality of care for my mother.
This is such a SAFE place to share your pain, process, joy and outcomes. NO one judges, and you are validated for your feeling and given a ray of sunshine after every meeting.
All I can say is give it a try, you will never forgive yourself if you don’t! You do not need to go it alone…
