The pizza at Angela’s is by far one of the best pizzas I’ve had in recent memory, the staff was great; specifically the bartender Kristen, she really enjoyed being there and making the experience great for the customers.

I was really looking forward to a great meal. While our service was nice and our waitress friendly and attentive the atmosphere was cold and unwelcoming. The sangria was yummy! The wings were ok, I would have liked to have seen more garlic and less lemon. I got a gluten free pizza that was as hard as a cracker with almost no flavor or toppings despite the fact we paid a dollar seventy five per topping. Sorry but we will not be coming back here anytime soon

Decided to try the pizza and wings here because of the high reviews. Well, not impressed with the food at all. We got the wings which tasted like lemon wings, too much lemon flavor. I got the personal sized Sid, Veggies were good, not much sausage, and the pizza sauce was flat… no flavor. The other person with me got a chicken and spinach gluten free pizza and it was plain chicken, not much flavor at all. The Sangria was very good as was the service. Well I guess being italian and growing up with the real thing made me spoiled when it even comes to pizza.

After reading other reviews, I stopped in and just like the others on here. I was blown away by the wings, carmelized onions and pizza crust. Super delicious the pizza was really done well.

Decided to try something new for dinner tonight. Mind you I usually stay away from pizza for a dinner meal because I don’t wanna feel lethargic and gross after. But wow this place was so good! When we arrived we were greeted by an elderly couple, a lady(Angela?) sitting at the hostess stand and a gentleman who led us to the bar to be seated. What I like about this place is that the menu is small. 1 app, 2 types of salad, and their pizza specialities. I could only assume that it’s cause they do what they do well, so at this point I was excited! We ordered the small wings to start: these were so good! The small was about 7 wings, smothered in sautéed onions over slices of soft foccacia bread. The chicken was delicious, a slight lemony tang and that delicious coal fired taste. The bread underneath soaked up all the juices. Unfortunately we didn’t eat much of it because we wanted to save room for the main attraction. Next time, I’ll likely get a large size! For the mains, we got a small classic cheese pizza and the ultimo. The cheese was very good, topped with fresh slices of basil. The ultimo is basically a meat lovers. Both were expertly done and so yummy. They didn’t leave you feel greasy at all, although I did hate myself because I basically just feasted on so much meats and cheese. Whatevs… why deny myself? My only gripe was that the crust on the ultimo was pretty burnt in some spots. Expected as they are cooked in an authentic coal fire oven, but I didn’t have most of that crust. On our way out, the elderly couple made a point to ask how our meal was before sending us on our way. Will definitely come back!

We have been here a few times and we absolutely LOVETHISPLACE. We love wings and there is no other place that does them as good as Angela’s. They fall off the bone and I love the foccacia slices that absorb the juices from the wings/onions. Their pizzas are incredible and even though my husband is not a pizza lover(he loves the wings more) he has never complained about heading to Angela’s for pizza and wings. The only complaint I have is those silly pizza stands at each table. I am always worried about them falling because the pizza is served on a pizza peel and last night it finally happened, our pie landed upside down on the floor. Before we could even clean it up the staff was at our table apologizing for the mishap and we had a new pie within minutes. That is customer service to the Nth degree! It is hard to find a great pizza, crunchy bottom, well done crusts and amazing combinations but Angela’s fits the bill everytime, and I am a real pizza snob. Angela’s also fits the bill on customer service, great waitstaff, always attentive and smiling. Highly recommend you trying Angela’s Coal Fired Pizza and wings on Rt 1 north… Lynn

Waitress was very very good and the food was better! Great environment… the coal fried is such a good idea. the chicken falls right off the bone! I didn’t give it 5 stars cause the location kind of sucks and I wish that they gave you complimentary bread but that’s just me

Excellent pizza and amazing wings. I do not enjoy eating chicken on the bone. However I will always order the coal fired wings at Angela’s, they are amazing and the meat just about falls off the bones. My favorite pizza is the Pepperoni Palermo. I get the small because their pizza is best eaten fresh.

The food was excellent. The service was very good. Only complaint is the flies. The kitchen needs to keep their back doors shut.

Amazing pizza. I had a peppers and caramelized onion pizza, and hubby had a pepperoni and bacon one. They were both incredibly delicious. It took a relatively long time for our food to come out, which our waitress did come over to warn us of. She said there was only one oven, and the restaurant was packed, so we understood. It would be nice if they gave rolls or something to snack on while we waited, but if it was less busy there probably wouldn’t have been as long of a wait for our food, so no biggie. It was quite loud, lots of families in there with small children which I wasn’t expecting on a Saturday night for some reason. But they seemed very well staffed, and we’ll definitely eat there again.

I have mixed feelings about Angela’s, even though I have been coming here for a couple years now. The pizza is really good, theres just something about it that turns me off. Maybe it’s because they don’t have a full bar and only serve beer/wine. Sometimes you just want a good whisky and bbq pizza, but they’ll probably put the red sauce on, and bbq sauce on top… Overall not a huge fan, although the wife loves it. Ill see you at Regina’s.

I’m talking pizza again, aren’t I? If you’re reading this, I think you’re really cool because that means you love(or at least like!) pizza. I’ve only been to Angela’s a handful of times, but let’s let the word out. Angela’s ‘za is amazing. Make that Amazing. If you like your pizza just a bit on the burnt side, you will love Angela’s. If you love consistency, you will love Angela’s. If you dig fresh ingredients, Angelas’s is your place. Oh, and if you like chicken wings, then you need to go as soon as you possibly can. It’s worth every penny. How many times can you say that these days?

Absolutely love this place! I’ve never had a bad experience whether it was getting take out or eating at the restaurant. The staff is very friendly. The Mediterranean pizza is my favorite! Their salads and wings are also amazing. Yummy in my tummy!

I have been waiting for the opportunity to eat my second meal here, and this visit didn’t disappoint! I had the wings and the mushroom trio pizza, both of which were spot on delicious. I was disappointed that the wings only come in one variety, but only until I tasted them. You really need to like rosemary, though.(I do!) A small pizza is about 14 inches across, so not really suitable for one, but it reheated pretty well. Delicious and filing! A definite must-try!

Found this on a whim and totally wishing that they would get a location in NH. First time visit we kept it classic with the house salad and the Sicilian pizza along with some chianti. Overall? Fantastic thin crust pizza with an incredible San Marzano tomato red sauce. Excellent service, generous portions, and feel good pricing. Might be out of the way but do yourself a favor and find a way to get to Angela’s.

The service is amazing! Nobody had an empty drink our entire visit, despite arriving at different times. Our waitress was the rare combination of attentive without being intrusive. Great hospitality. Though skeptical, our party LOVED the wings. I, personally, would have liked less lemon but everyone else told me I’m crazy so they must be doing something right. The most tender, fall off the bone wings I’ve ever seen(and I know wings). Pizza was amazing. We got the chicken parm, top steak, and tri-mushroom. Not one of us were disappointed by what we had. Everything was delicious. Chicken parm pizza is a must. I’ve had chicken parm pizza and calzones and no one does it like this. Crispy great tasting chunks of chicken parm. Hands down, the best pizza topping I’ve ever had.

Yum! Have been here twice and both times, the food was awesome! Yes, it’s on route 1, which is annoying — especially getting out of the parking lot — but it is worth it. They literally offer three things: salad, wings and pizza. The wings are a must. The meat falls right off the bones and they flavor is amazing. Their wings are marinated in olive oil, lemon and rosemary, so if you are looking for buffalo, look elsewhere. But seriously, try these ones first. They also come stacked on top of some homemade focaccia with caramelized onions. So good. Then comes the pizza. Recently had the«Figaro» and I think that will be my go to from now on. Besides their dough/crust being some of my fave ever, the combo of fig, chicken(subbed out the prosciutto), shaved parm, blue cheese and arugula was to die for. If you are in the area looking for some ‘za, this is your place.

Wings were succulent and the flavoring was on point! Lots of lemony and rosemary flavors. The focaccia on the bottom was a bit soggy due to the presentation, but it just soaked up the extra flavoring from the juices. Wasn’t sure what to do with the sauteed onions on top, which I could so without. Great choice if you are more in the mood for wings that are not heavily breaded like what you get with Wings Over… or Buffalo Wild Wings.

I’ve been here a handful of times but always forget to write a review on here! One of the best pizza places on the North Shore! Pizza is cooked coal fired! My favorite pizza is the Shrimp Aglio Olio! Amazing! The pizza has so much flavor in every bite! My other fave is the Figaro, another delicious pizza! Also, highly recommend the wings. Get the large, you won’t regret it! Caesar salad is very good too. Décor and ambiance is simple but nice, very warm feeling place. Wait staff is very friendly and helpful with suggestions!
