Limited menu at the moment, the restaurant is under reconstruction, horrible service, ordered chicken and it smelled and tasted like fish. Never will go back, $ 80 for two at lunch. Blah!

This a nice place with a pleasant view of the bay. Not too fancy, but with a very leisurely atmosphere. Decent service, not too pricey… figure about $ 20-$ 30 per person, with beverages. I had the Shrimp & Crab Louis salad. Lots of Dungeness Crab and shrimp with olives, tomatoes, avocados… very generous. $ 23.00 We had a chance to see the Blue Angels flying about as they turned n burned towards The City. One of us ordered Fish n Chips. It was one huge fried fillet with roasted potatoes. It looked pretty good too. As mentioned in another review, the place will be turned into a Steakhouse. The menu included prime rib and surf n turf items that said, «Coming Soon!» I’d come here again. Hopefully they’ll keep the same menu items along with what Salito’s brings. Best news… It’s biker friendly. Lot’s of HOGS parked out front. Check it out! Pretty cool!

So. I love this place… Make sure you go here on a nice day so you can sit outside over looking the yacht. They have heat lamps too. This is a great place to go on a date or just to hang out. The ambience is very inviting. I ordered the crab enchiladas! The most AMAZING enchiladas that i have ever had in my life! ORDERTHIS!!! The nice waiter, who wears glasses, said it is their most popular dish. SO delicious. We ordered a Pinot Noir to boot. It was a very nice combo. My boyfriend ordered a shrimp pasta that was very tasty but nothing in comparison. The place is reasonable in price and their bathrooms are decent, if thats important to you. Love, D

Paradise Bay has a beautiful deck in a quiet marina with an incredible view of the bay. Do I need to say more? How about they have a parking lot? The beer is icy cold? The clam chowder is thick and creamy? The next time we are in Sausalito(which is more often than you would think), this where we will be stopping.

Went back for dinner the other night. Again… the food is fine — not outstanding, but certainly not bad, either! I had the Ahi Sandwich — which is garnished with seaweed and a wasabi spread. Yes — I’ve had better Ahi Sandwiches(in Hawaii), but this was quite good! It’s the first time I’ve had it with these condiments — and it worked well. Obviously, the flavor combos reminded me of sushi — not a bad thing! Host was great, waiter very polite, great bus staff(water never ran dry). I bet some folks might have thought the wait service was slow… but it was fine for me. It’s nice to relax, take in the fresh air and the view — not feel rushed. Gotta love sitting on the deck, looking out onto the Bay, boats sailing in for the evening. There are heaters on the deck, too — added bonus. I think their location is the main reason I like it here. Casual, relaxed waterfront atmosphere. Don’t get me wrong — food is okay, too — but the atmosphere gives it the extra star.

Went here today for lunch with some friends. Loved the view(we sat out back on the deck over lookiing the bay) and the table was comfortable with the umbrellas that helped for such a warm spring day. It was fairly busy, so took a bit of a while before our waitress got to us, but once she did, she got everything correct and was attentive to check on us. My Dirty Martini was yummy and had the sufficient amount of ice crystals floating in it when it arrived. I had an order of the Hog Island fresh oysters and they were divine(prepared raw with a wasabi cream and tobiko garnished on each one) and the paper rice wrapped seared ahi tuna with avocado and a caramel soy reduction… YUM! They had lots of great selections on the lunch/brunch menu… and I look forward to coming back and trying more!

Good food, but I think its crazy that they charge for pop(soda) refills! I don’t think I’ve ever been to a place that charge for a Diet Coke refill, even at really nice restaurants! I enjoyed my spinach, goat cheese salad with chicken and I also liked the clam chowder that I got. Great views of the water and sailboats.

I held my 50th birthday party here on Saturday January 15th. About 150 people attended, we hired a DJ and we had Paradise Bay provide the food. What a night!!! Right from the start we dealt with Sydney the manager who was awesome. I could not have choose a better location, Sydney had the place looking beautiful, fireplaces lit, rooms arranged for their specific purpose, TV available for the slide show. The staff lined up prior to the party to be introduced to us therefore making it a personal experience. The highlights: *Excellent food, ALL my guests commented on that *Beautiful location, ideal for a party *Friendly efficient service *Competitive rates *Backroom ideal for the DJ and loud music

My favorite place to eat… EVER. There’s a beautiful view of the bay and you get lost in the view as you stare at sail boats coming in and out of the sf bay. The food is delicious. The drinks are good. There’s a bar outside and inside. If you sit inside the windows are huge. It’s a great place to stop if you’re sight seeing in Sausalito. I don’t think I would go anywhere else in Sausalito. The staff is also great and attentive.

I am still sitting here at the bar at Paradise Bay with a half eaten Seared Ahi Sandwich. I felt compelled enough to put the sandwich down and write a review… RIGHTAWAY. Pronto! So… One bite of this fantasmic sandwich and I was in heaven. The ahi was seared perfectly and the medley of seaweed salad/slaw/spicy wasabi… plus the Yam fries — YUMM! I will come back here if only for this sandwich. Best EVER that I have had! Five stars for the food, the 50-inch TV at the bar. The great margarita and the ahi sandwich of kings! After a walk on the Golden Gate bridge this is just PERFECT! Back to my sandwich. It’s mine you can’t have it. Go get your own :-)

We came here on Sunday, the last day of fleet week, which was probably the last warm and sunny day of 2010. The bf and I traveled from SF on the ferry and needed to find a place nearby since we didn’t have a car with us. Luckily for the Unilocal iphone application, I was able to find Paradise Bay easily. We were given a seat on the edge of the water, which is on a patio that rests on a dock. There were yachts resting just a couple feet from us. It was very serene and perfectly romantic because we were able to watch the sun setting along the water. We ordered half a bottle of Pinot Grigio and a dozen oysters. The oysters were made japanese style, which were delicious with the tobiko and ponzu sauce. Although I cannot say how good their actual food is, our experience was great and I wouldn’t mind going back there again. They also have heat lamps outside if you want to sit out when the weather gets chilly.

I don’t know why I haven’t come here more often. I really love the view and the open feel to the bar/patio/patiobar. Two bars in one establishment. My kind of place. The food is pretty mediocre. I had some delicious oysters on the half shell though. The bartenders and servers are very cool and good at what they do. Great for happy hour or a sunny weekend for drinks and apps.

Ummm … did I like this place? Hellz to the YEAH! I would almost contemplate 5 stars, but that seems like a bit much considering I’ve only been here once … and it was definitely GOOD but maybe not *amazing*(but then again, what IS??). My dad is house sitting in Sausalito for two months this summer and I came up for the weekend to visit. We went to Paradise Bay for dinner tonight and I’m glad we did! He’d already had a decent lunch there apparently, so lunch and dinner must be pretty reliable. It was probably around 8:30 on a Friday night … not that busy but not totally dead. We got a sweet table front and center of the window(«best in the house,» the hostess proclaimed. I believed her.). I got the red sangria(pretty decent … love the double maraschino cherries) and my dad got a beer. We each ordered the mahi mahi fish and chips(garlic fries) with the homemade sauce. It was rather yummy if I don’t say so myself! Liked having mahi mahi for the fish, and the breading was good too … not too much. Skinny fries, in a good way. I would have stopped there. But my dad stole enough of my fries(and we had walked a mile each way to get to and from the restaurant, so I felt LESS guilty) that I had room for dessert. I got this butterscotch cookie ice cream sandwich thing that had coconut(I think) ice cream, and etc etc. Caramel, raspberries. Shabam! Both my dad and I literally uttered«hmmm» as we savored our first bites. But it was«hmmm» in a good way … like, «that’s unexpected, but I like it.» The dessert was thought-provoking. How often can you say THAT?

We went here on one of those rare warm bay area nights because you can sit outside on the deck. Unfortunately they had the heaters on full blast even though it was a warm night(I still don’t know why, habit I guess?) so it was uncomfortably hot. The food was covered in sauces so you couldn’t even taste the fish(which always worries me… trying to cover up the taste of old fish?) Yet another great location with less than great food.

I have been here once or twice over the past year and had average meals. Recently I heard a friend’s nightmare story about sending food that had been microwaved back twice. Despite the warning flags, I was tired and hungry and ventured down there tonight. BIG mistake! This is THEWORST restaurant I have ever eaten at in the 10+ years I have lived in the Bay area. The food is AWFUL! The fried coconut shrimp were cold, hard and flavorless. I got the impression they had been sitting out on the counter for hours, if not days. The Caesar salad with chicken had no flavor, and the chicken, just like the shrimp, was cold, hard, dried out and flavorless. Again, it seemed like something that had been cooked a few days before and maybe heated up in the microwave. There is NOCOOKED to order here. The food looks and tastes as if its been lying around for days, and possibly even came off of someone else’s plate. I will NEVER eat here again. It was a complete waste of money. The food and health board should look into their food practices. You can find a MUCH better meal pretty much anywhere else! DONOEATHERE! It was disgusting. The ONLY thing you should go here for is the wine, which is cheaper by the glass than most other overpriced tourist joints in Sausalito. Plus, if you’re a sports fan, they have large screen TVS. But eat before you go or you will be disappointed, unless you drink so much that you don’t notice or care. And the bartender/waitress was a waste of space. TERRIBLE service!

Me likes! My cousin suggested this place in Sausalito. Btw, we took the ferry here and it was so fun! I love ferries! Reminds me of New York =) Anyways, this was a really cute restaurant! We sat at the outdoor patio by the dock. Lucky for us, it was a gorgeous, sun-shiny day. perfect weather for chillin’ and grubbin’. We started off with yummy drinks. PINEAPPLEMOJITOS! We all had 2 – 3 drinks one after the other! They were THAT good! Talk about getting a nice buzz at 2 in the afternoon: p As far as entrees, I had their salmon burger with garlic fries. BOMBDIGGS! I love salmon but I’ve never tried it in patty form. Just as good though! I especially loved the garlic fries. Perfect flavor and crispiness! I finished ‘em like I haven’t eaten in days! Docked one star because it was a bit pricey but still well-worth it. So there you have it! Good food and and good company. Paradise Bay, thanks for making my SF trip that much more memorable!

I’m quite the idiot for disregarding this place for the last 3 years despite it being directly across the street from my Voiceover school. Paradise Bay is a right by the water. It’s ample in space and lighting, and has quick service. With an hour break between classes, we were easily out in no time. I went with a group of 6 during the weekend at around 1pm. Ordered Tuna Sandwich and omfg is that thing a ball of deliciousness or what! It’s in a brioche bun with perfectly seasoned and seared ahi tuna. It’s smeared with wasabi mayo and seaweed salad inside and your choice of side(sweet potato fries, potato salad, or coleslaw). It was one of the most satisfying sandwiches I’ve had. The wasabi wasn’t too strong and the flavors were perfect and went great with my sweet potato fries. It is a $ 14 sandwich and the price point does hold me back a bit. But it’s a great treat to myself and definitely a place I’d like to go to again. I’d love to sit al fresco and enjoy the beautiful view from the dock.

This past NYE of 2010, my husband and I were invited to 3 parties, 2 in SF and 1 in Oakland. We were planning to go to the one in Oakland… but we just flew back from New Mexico at 12:30AM in the morning and although we had a decent amount of sleep, we were still tired and jet-lagged. I kept my energy up during the day but my husband crashed and napped for like 2 hours as I was getting ready for the night out, and by the time we were both ready, we were cutting really close to the NYE countdown. Like, if we got stuck in traffic over the bridge to Oakland, or couldn’t find parking, we’d be having New Years in the car. That close. And we didn’t really wanna risk that:(So we decided to keep things casual and mellow this year and walked around our neighborhood and heard music from inside Paradise Bay. So we looked at each other and said, sure, why not? We walked in, and found out they had a $ 20 cover each. Kinda expensive considering how close it was to the count down, but it was for the live band and we really didn’t have time looking for other places. We didn’t have cash but the guy at the reception desk told us that we can charge it on our card and open a tap and pay all at once in the end. That was very thoughtful of them, so we didn’t mind spending the $. We sat by the bar, my husband enjoyed watching football and NYE footages on the flatscreen TV, while he sipped vodka collins and I had my mojito. Then we ordered two glasses of champagne, chat about new years resolution, little projects we are working on, etc… and before we new it, it was the countdown and it was 2010:) It was nothing glam or special, really… and it was just what we wanted this year. It was festive enough, yet cozy, and literally 1 minute stroll from our apartment. lol. I’ve been noticing their happy hour banner for the last few months too, and i am seeing some reviews here commenting on improved experience at Paradise Bay. Perhaps I will give their happy hours a shot sometime soon :)

I came here for my cousin’s bridal shower luncheon. It’s a beautiful spot and we had our tables/area near the outdoor deck so we could see the view of the ocean. Marika was our server and she was sweet, attentive, and quick! You couldn’t ask for better service. We had appetizers of coconut shrimp, mini crab cakes and some sushi roll thing. The crab cakes and shrimp were realllly good. The sushi was ok, but of course, I’ve had way better sushi. For my entrée, I had a caesar salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was delicious, tender, and grilled to perfection. Not too much dressing, a great portion of parmesean and homemade croutons. Some other ladies had entrees like the salmon burger with sweet potato fries or the fried chicken burger. All of the portions were large and the food was pretty good. I will definitely be back to sample some other food and to eat outside on the deck on a nice day!
