Great place with a great staff. Prices are in some instances cheaper than ordering off the internet. That alone says tons about the integrity of the folks running this place. It’s worth it to just go in there once even if you don’t like vinyl. It’s a very unique place.

Really neat store for records, bones, animals, skulls, masonic, but should get some lower priced junk boxes. Window is really neat and creepy. I used to be able to buy stuff here when it was more of a junk store and owner will buy things but he’s always on tour and hardly ever there.

They really shouldn’t say curiosities if they only have a few bones and a Ronald McDonald but good record selection

Good mix of new releases, reissues, and dusties. The staff are very, very knowledgable and happy to make recommendations. They also have an outstanding selection of cocktail bitters. And you can play the mid-90s Classic video game Mortal Kombat for free.

Great record shop and record label, good stop in Savannah. They also have a taxidermy section!

One of those stores that resists categorization. However, it is record store with 2D art and outrageous wall art ranging from taxidermy to bizarre masks over mannequins(Look for the tele tubby). Something for everyone here ranging from candy, playing cards, books, and aromatics. What won me over was the acoustic set with Train Wreck. A gem and truly unique experience. In the day time you can stop by the cute bakery on the corner.

I cussing love Graveface Records and Curiosities, RECORDS… Brandy N. from Oviedo Florida, cussing frittata, who the cuss still buys CDs anyway. Seriously though whats not to like, free shows to promote local bands, cussing hilarious curiosities, the cussing largest bitters inventory in Savannah, and a staff that lives breaths and cusses music and records. If it wasn’t for Graveface I’d never get my cussing mail, whoa does USPS have one of these cussing Unilocal pages?

I really loved the place when I first walked in and saw vinyls everywhere. Spent quite a bit of time rummaging through them, they also have many bins underneath so you definitely do not wanna go in there on a time crunch. They had many other things too like board games, trading cards, 2 arcade games that were free to play and a lot of other random fun pieces. They only thing is I wish they had more of the classic rock bands in there. A lot of it seemed like new genre bands or I would have bought more. I also used the Unilocal $ 20 for $ 30 deal once I realized I was going to buy a couple records. Worked great. Overall, it was a fun place to go and I know I will be back.

I had planned to stop at a number of record stores as I made my way south on the Atlantic route to Florida on I-95 this season, but as it turned out, Graveface was the only one I actually did make. I learned a little about Savannah itself as part of making my way to this shop as it is well outside the established tourist route. Once inside, I engaged the young record seller who was on duty, and made my way to the used bins on the floor by the counter. I quickly found a number of $ 2-$ 3 soul and reggae records once owned by «Sonny»(he’d made sure no one was going to walk off with his LPs by marking his name on them). Nonetheless, Sonny’s records weren’t in bad shape despite being a bit dusty, so I overlooked the personalized labeling and wondered where Sonny is today… if he is with us on this Earth still. Part of the charm of old LPs to some extent. Eventually, I made my way into more expensive fare(but not too expensive because this is one of the most reasonably priced shops I’ve entered in 2014). Graveface has very decent electronica, reggae, hip hop, jazz, and soul sections and I found a little bit in each to add to my stack. Finally, I made my way to a section called«Psych/Pop» and hit a goldmine of reasonably priced new records that are actually hard to find if you expect not to order them online(which I try not to do). For example, I found several rarer Guerssen Records(a Spanish/German reissue label) reissues of American psych bands of the late 60s/70s. These are well made European records and always a pleasure to own. By the end of my digging, the owner had arrived behind his counter, and I had tallied quite a stack that ultimately resulted in a purchase of nearly $ 300. I was surprised(and maybe a bit put off) by the owner’s failure to offer me a discount on the basis of such a large haul but I feel that his prices were already evident of the small business’ need for cold hard cash and I respected that right off. Still, Graveface is the first record seller in the entire USA who hasn’t offered at least a 10% discount to sweeten the deal for a serious purchase of this sort. I believe this was due to having been marked as a tourist. Maybe? I was offered a tote bag or t-shirt and I wound up with two totes so the proprietor tacitly acknowledged the significance of my patronage. I laughed all this off once I realized that my Unilocal checkin at the start had resulted in a 10% discount offer and I had just failed to notice it! I won’t make that mistake again. Certainly, I would encourage any big time buyer to make a stop at Graveface and to press their advantage by asking for a discount up front for large purchases, but in any case you will be getting a very fair deal from a shop that clearly knows what vinyl record collecting is all about. All said, this is one of the most well-curated vinyl record shops I’ve found in my recent travels. Highly recommended!

AWESOME record store! Got two really cool records for $ 20. Could easily have spent more but was on vacation and couldnt fit more. Has a wonderful collection of all different kinds of modern music, everything from rap to metal. Well worth the trip in!

I’m always iffy about record stores that share a name with a label, they tend to be too focused on their music. Graveface isn’t like that, while you can easily find the albums they released(I would recommend anything by Whirr) they have a wonderful selection of music and at a good price. I feel like their big strong point is the«curiosities» they have to sell. If you are into vintage spooky stuff and odd ball old board games this place is a must

Very cool store with lots of really awesome hard to find oddities. I found a really cool glowing turtle necklace for my fiancé. The staff were really nice and super helpful. They also had a really nice selection of records that no other store in the area has.

A pretty neat little record store, and yes, it is little. However, I was able to find a few nice albums for a couple bucks each, and they’ve got a good selection of new vinyl to choose from, as well as some rarer albums that are a good bit more expensive. Parking is easy to find on the street.

Pretty cool spot. Love the vintage feel and arcade games. Staff’s fun and quirky :) My only qualms is that I wish they had a variety of vinyl toys and I wish they posted upcoming gigs/events on their website. I feel like it would better suit their customers more if they had toys like Toki Doki or Munny or Killer Klowns From Outerspace… And not all of us are super cool and have a Facebook, so appealing to those of us who don’t have it, website updates would be stellar.

The gory décor in this place thoroughly freaked me out… but the owner was nice and was a bit entertained by my reaction lol. Once you get past that the rest is pretty normal for a record store. They have a lot of vinyl for the crate diggers in your life. Their gift certificates are a coloring book page that says Happy Halloween. O-o. I wouldn’t recommend bringing small kids in here but for the music enthusiasts it’s worth a visit.

Nice little place with a friendly owner and reasonably priced wares. They also have an arcade-sized video game that is totally free to play! You have to love a place that provides free video game entertainment to help you kill time as the boyfriend sifts through carton after carton of dusty records. Also conveniently located next to a really cute bakery with great iced lattes. Score! Minus one star for the creepy, disgusting roadkill taxidermy… *shudder*
