Helen’s Nails

I absolutely love this place! They have always done a great job and it is the only place I will go! I have been coming here for almost 5 years now and I will ALWAYS come back! The place is clean, the staff is mostly family, all are friendly and won’t let you down!

Can’t really say this is a review since I was t able to get any services. When your door, website, and even giant yellow sign in the window say you open at 9 am and I’ve now been sitting outside your business for 30 mins looking to get a mani/​pedi before work– have to say it’s pretty disappointing! Change your signs and website if you aren’t open at 9!

I want to give a higher review. It was a really nice experience with extremely nice people. Really good prices too — there was a special for $ 30 for mani/​pedi (mon, tues, wed) They had two people working on me at once. It was quite a nice experience. I just wish they were a little more careful about hygiene. The towel they used under my manicure was put down as the towel for the feet of the next person getting a pedicure. I didn’t really see any cleaning of the tools either.

How has no one reviewed Helen’s? I’ll tell you why: I’ve been driving by it my whole life and somehow never noticed it was there! This is a cute little place! I was shocked when I was chatting up the staff and one of the guys said, «We’ve been here for 18 years!» Apparently, he hears all the time that people did not know they are located there –in the little strip mall on the southeast corner of Golf and Salem. For $ 40, I got to relax in a massage chair while someone worked on my hands and another on my feet. It was nice and quiet, with only a few other customers in the place (it was a Saturday afternoon, around 3pm). They also massaged my hands and feet and it included a scrub too. I felt very pampered!
I think the staff was super friendly, efficient and they did a great job! I’m a runner so my nails were in pretty bad shape when I walked in, but they somehow made them look human again! ;0)
I’m so excited to have found this little gem! This will be my new suburban escape when I head to Schaumburg to do my shopping and/​or visit my mom! I love that I can get my toes done and that my commute back into the city allows for dry time!
