Another place where there is always something on sale. Better than average household goods and books, particularly kitchen supplies. Random, but very inexpensive furniture and pictures. Clean and well lit. Friendly volunteer staff. Huge parking lot. Good Cause. my choice of donation drop-off since the proceeds go to Kenneth Young Centers and the staff are volunteers… i always like to help locally when i can and also to support local business and organizations… my problem is that i always find some other tchotchke to buy here and take home, only to donate them again next year… except for my treasure find of Engelbert Humperdinck 33rpm vinyl album!

First time today going to this resale shop. Very nice staff and tidy enough to figure out where everything is at. Found a few boy infant clothes and a sweater for me. Very reasonable and for a great cause. Some clothes had rips and tough stains on them, that was the only down fall. Will definitely return to shop and recommend :)

I originally found this resale shop while scoping out the Yoga place with great reviews a few doors down and found this store to be great way to avoid working out… ever. It’s definitely my kind of place and I got the added bonus of not having to ruin my 30 year streak of not ever doing yoga. Nailed it! The store was pretty large but most if it taken up by larger furniture items like couches and china cabinets and some nice coffee tables. The prices on the furniture, while not everything was in pristine condition, were are almost comically low. If I thought my significant other wouldn’t murder me if I purchased another piece of large furniture for our tiny apartment, you might have seen me trying to lug a pretty swank love seat out of this storefront about a week ago. I didn’t spend a ton of time shopping for clothing as nothing was really in my size range. They has lots of denim but it was definitely either a little too hipster or a little too old lady for me. Their ceramic dishes and glass selection was pretty decent as well. Some of the stuff didn’t have prices on it and I really wasn’t compelled enough to go out of my way to ask. But they had those glass collectors cups from Burger King back in the day that i had my eye on. The staff were friendly and seemed to genuinely each the work they were doing, which is always nice to see. The proceeds from your purchase go to local charitable causes and you can even sign up for their mailing list to find out about extra sales and promotions(like 50% and free ice cream!). I’ll definitely be back, avoiding doing any yoga or physical activity other than lugging whatever item I purchased out of the store.

This used to be a good thrift store until recently. The volunteers that work at the store are very nice and always helpful, but whoever now does the pricing is pretty far off base. Watch out for what is referred to as collectibles, because generally they are not but the pricing will be very high like they are. Books are ridiculously overpriced. Clothing can go either way, except for things like prom dresses which are really hiked up in price. We were informed that some people resell things found in thrift stores(so?) and that is the reason for their new pricing scheme. Time to find somewhere else to shop.

I randomly found this shop while driving down Schaumburg Road and saw a sign for«Free Ice Cream at Resale Shop,» so I immediately pulled in. I was looking for a table for our patio, and despite the crowd for the sale(50% off everything this day!) I found a great little table for $ 4!!! The employees were friendly and helped me take it out to the car. I got a free ice cream sandwich in the lot. And I was given a calendar for the month of other upcoming sales. I’ll be back!

I used to live near this store so I’d go every couple weeks. Still love it there-they have great sales and not just the 10% off furniture kind. I went last week and it was 40% off everything in the store. They have a good mix of furniture, clothing, housewares, etc. and the prices are not bad!

This is an okay resale store. You have to visit often, but if you do you can find some good finds. Their pricing is mixed – some things are a good deal & many things are priced much too high. If it’s too high though, you can usually wait it out & it will go down in price or will be a part of a special sale.
