The Cake Pros, A Blessing Table

I enjoyed a cake for my mother’s 40^th birthday from here, but that was about it. Stopped in a few other times for cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, and cookies to drop off while visiting family in the area, none of which tasted good. Everything tasted stale and dry. Very overpriced for the area as well.
Regardless of their quality, I will never patronize this business again after they openly denied service to a same sex couple in 2014. Although this is not illegal in PA, I do not want to give my money to people who openly refuse service to anyone.

My best friend had a cake and cupcakes ordered for her wedding. I felt they were absolutely delicious and everyone loved them. My favorite had a delicious raspberry filling. My friend also started to panic a bit before the wedding and ordered a bunch of cupcakes a head of time just to be sure she still liked them lol. The staff was more than accommodating for her favor.

I’ve gotten 3 different types of cake from them: a traditional chocolate/​vanilla with buttercream/​cinnamon/​and strawberry-​filled cake, all were delicious! I am actually the family cake purchaser now because my family loved the cakes so much, they don’t want anything else. Not sure about the other reviews about the cake being too sweet, typically I’m the one that likes the extra sweet stuff in the family, but everyone seems to like the cake just as much as I do. Even had some of their delicious cupcakes for my birthday. YUM!

Will never ever buy a cake or anything else from this store again. I would rather drive 100 miles to another bakery than have to eat cake like this ever again — dry and sugary, have never had anything this bad. The owner was incredibly rude as were the others working there.

Incredibly dry cake with way too much sugar. I guess it was their diabetes special.

Got numerous cakes here and they were all great… Will be ordering my sons B-​day cake in a few weeks… Highly recommend ! ! !

Not good. The cake looked fine, but their recipes must be off because it tasted like it was stale, even though they said it was fresh. Staff are rude and temperamental. If avoid this place altogether.

I was in town for my sister’s wedding. I had the job of making sure our cake showed up on time and looked amazing. When they first showed up with the cake (Michael the husband of the owner), it was not the cake my sister ordered. Michael was very nice with his apology, but my sister started to freak out. Eventually the cake got there and it looked nice. We had to wait for it of course and they were setting it up with all the guests there so it was sort of weird. Finally, the cake tasted dry… not the way it tasted my sister said when they met with the store owner. I’m made because my sister looks back at that day and always complains about the cake. It was my job but I keep telling her that it wasn’t my fault. Though I feel this company makes a great effort, I only feel it’s fair people hear our experience with them before choosing. Also, they apologized a lot, but it still doesn’t make up for the lack of professionalism. We expected the day to go off flawless.
