We are from out of town, and this was a gem of a find. We stopped here for breakfast on a day trip from Yachats to Tillamook, and needed some coffee and fresh breakfast. We ordered some of the breakfast croissants(Ham and Swiss, and the Bacon and eggs) as well as a few chocolate croossants and cinnamon scone. The breakfast croissants were delicious. Big, flaky, buttery, and filled with breakfast goodness. No skimping or snail’sportions here. You definitely get more than you pay for. The chocolate croissants were perfectly cooked, and the center was filled with chocolate that almost stayed at a liquid consistency. The couple running the place were friendly and attentive, made wonderful recommendations, and all smiles, the perfect attitude when you are still sort of waking up and need that pep to start your day. The food was as fresh as could be. This place definitely made our must visit list for our next trip to the Oregon coast. Thank you Seal Rock Espresso and Bakery! Sincerely, From Orange County, CA

Finally I got up early enough to stop here on my way to work. The owners, husband and wife, are very nice and aim to please. When I pulled up to the window it smelled amazing with fresh baked goods. I had the cheese bagel sandwich and it was amazing! Can’t wait to take my friends here when they come to visit me at the coast!

A husband & wife team run this little espresso kiosk. They are so friendly and I always enjoy stopping here for a hot drink or a yummy bagel. Oh, did I mention a bagel? I had a heck of time finding someplace on the central coast that served bagels. Theirs are fresh & tasty… try the cheese bagel, it’s delicious!

Owners will deliver within the area and very well priced. They except credit cards. Everything I have tried is delicious. Food options range from healthy to sweets and savoury. Great customer service.

Sold to new owners. I preferred the Long Bottom coffee over the current brand. Morning glory muffins are not the same as when Judy made them — also she never used her bare hands to handle my muffin! And it was ice cold right out of the refrigerator, YUCK! That was the new owner — he should have known better. I will not go back. $ 18 for 6 muffins.

Badly needed coffee and pastry stop on our way to Cannon beach. The coffee was made with a smile and the sausage croissant was really really good
We come back again on our way down from BC.

Great coffee but even more important is the wonderful pastries. Their chocolate croissant are to die for and my husband raves about the bear claws. Always friendly staff. A great way to start your day.

As we drive out of Newport, we pass at least seven places on the 101 that we could stop at and get great coffee; when we make the 20+ mile drive to Seal Rock Espresso & Bakery it’s because we want great coffee and great breakfast baked goods. Newport has some options, but few have homemade breakfast pastries and, with the exception of The Chalet, they’ve all been hit and miss, especially if we’re ordering for more than two. Seal Rock Espresso & Bakery consistently is a hit. The maple bars and strudels are big enough to share, but no one does. The bear claws are the real deal with a choice of fillings, almond and cherry being my favs. The only caveat is get there early to have a full choice of items. If not, call a day ahead and reserve what you want. For the quality and freshness, the prices are super reasonable. And yes, you’ll find every coffee, espresso drink you could possibly crave, made to order with just as much pride as is taken with the pastries.

Very good find. The English Sausage Roll is like nothing I have had before. It was mild and delicious. The Maple Bar is huge. Fluffy pastry with homemade maple frosting. Yummy. Apple Strudel was very appley. Moist and delicious. Bear Claw(Cherry) was flavorful. Better than the average bear(claw). Scone wasn’t what I was expecting. I was looking for dull, plain, hard, dry. It wasn’t any of these. It was delicious, but I wouldn’t call it a scone. BTW, my wife and I couldn’t finish all of these items in one sitting.

Today was my first time pulling into Seal Rock Espresso and Bakery and it definitely won’t be my last! Pulled in this morning for a quick cup of coffee and had 2 cars in front of me, but quickly someone came out to take my order and bring me my coffee so I could drink it while I waited to pay and choose a pastery! Awesome customer service. I had a black cup of coffee and tried a Morning Glory Muffin. The coffee was good, but the muffin was what sealed the deal. Perfection! Thank you for a great start to my day, I will return!

Just outstanding. Traveling down the Oregon Coast, we read reviews and called ahead to ask them to set aside some baked goods in case we arrived after the rush had cleared them out the nest morning. When we arrived the next day, our order was boxed and waiting with an «Arizona» pattern piped on top of a scone(as we are from there.) And, oh my, the baked goods were the best we’ve ever found, anywhere. Cinnamon scones have ruined us for any others elsewhere, and the bear claw was tender, flaky and delicious. Wish they were down the street from us, not 1000s of miles away. This stop rated highest of the foodie stops we made in a l-o-n-g trip. Thank you, S R E B!

I’m a scone snob, so I didn’t have my hopes up when I ordered their cinnamon version. Well, this was truly and absolutely the best scone I’ve ever had, bar none. Melt-in-your mouth delicious. The coffee was good, too, and the owner is a really nice guy. I was tempted to buy a whole bag to take back to Eugene, but one perfect scone is just right. We will definitely return on our next coast trip.

This is an awesome little coffee stand. Not only is the coffee fantastic but the baked goods are delicious! I’ve had the maple shots, ham and cheese croissant, cinnamon scone and apple danish. All of these were absolutely delicious. Freshly baked every day. The people that run the stand are so nice. Every time I stop they are always pleasant and professional. Highly recommend the maple shots. those are the perfect size. The maple bar is great but huge for one person. It is definitely perfect to share with another!

I had to stop here for the first time on our way to Waldport. What delicious homemade bakery items they have. My mother n law loved the pumpkin cranberry bread and I had the BEST peanut butter cookie. We had to visit this place 3 times before we left for home. The coffee was great. I had a latte and a mocha the 2nd day. The ladies working were very friendly. This will now become a tradition stop for us.

An unbelievably pleasant surprise we ordered an Almond Croissant and a Marionberry cream cheese Danish. Was as good or better than any Bakery in PDX! Would highly recommend any item sold out of this drive thru

Most of these drive-through coffee stands, I find, are now chains. They hire teenagers to operate fool-proof espresso machines to make cheap coffee with lots of syrups and gimmicky names. A few, even like this, have a decent pastry or sandwich available which almost redeems them. This one, however, is the real deal. Individually owned and operated, the pastries are made fresh every day and the coffee is Oregon roasted and truly fantastic. The pastries are delicious and I’ve become somewhat addicted to the ham and cheese croissant. And the almost croissant. But you have to get there early, the good stuff sells out!

Love their freshly baked(from scratch!) bear claws, maple bars, morning glory muffins, and peach danishes. Easy to get on and off Highway 101. I buy their baked goods for company and neighbors. Holiday breads are great, too!

They make a nice, hot latte and serve delicious baked goods at Seal Rock E & B. Service is friendly at the window. It’s good to pull over here in Seal Rock, likely late in the morning on your way up to the Oregon Coast Aquarium.
