Finns Fish House

I ordered the halibut fish and chips and it was AMAZING! The peices of fish were thick and tender. The tartar sauce that came with it was great! The amount of fries was also perfect. The décor is not very fancy which I did not like, but the server was fast and nice!

We had a hard time finding a restaurant that was open on Mondays.
Finns was one of the few that was.
We had the halibut and salmon fish and chips, clam linguine and a kids grilled cheese sandwich.
We all liked our food.
There was so much food on the plate that 3 out of 4 couldn’t finish eating all.
The only negative I have to mention is that even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at all we never got our water refilled.

Food is average for Seaside, service is below average. Would recommend walking a little further to Norma’s or another fish eat on Broadway.

Service was laughable. My meal came out at least 15 minutes after the first meal. And the waiter was clueless. Couldn’t get a single order right. The food was so incredibly bland at best. If it did have a taste, it was horrible. Will NEVER come back.

The razor clams are fantastic. I had them 2 mornings in a row. The eggs are perfect for over medium. Jennifer was the perfect waitress both days. The pancakes, bacon and eggs Benedict with crab excellent according to wife and granddaughter.

Came in for breakfast, ordered some coffee. Was not given silverware for the coffee. Mentioned it to two servers and neither apologized or hopped to, so we walked out.

They seated us in the lounge and did not tell us we needed ID just to sit in there. The waitress came up and rudely kicked us out from our booth. It was embarrassing, because I’m 25 years old and my with is 24 and she did not bring her ID since we did not want to carry her purse around town.
I think it should have been handled differently. They should let us know before entering the lounge that we need ID just to sit in the room. We had no plans to drink, just wanted to be in a quite room.
All I can say is I was embarrassed in front of other guests, and the waitress would not listen. Very rude!

Yumm! We just had the best pancakes ever! Everyone’s (family of four) food was great, but seriously order the pancakes!!! The service was also great, and the restaurant is very clean. We where headed to another place on the street– and was a long wait for average food, so we kept looking around, so glad we did.

Three stars isn’t a bad thing in a tourist town. You won’t have your world changed, but you will enjoy good food at alright prices. It’s nice inside — and clean despite what others have said. The wait staff was great and the food was good. The noteworthy entrée was the crab melt open faced sandwich. Good crab flavor.
Of note-​we had two toddlers in tow and they were very accommodating.
No complaints!

I had the lunch special of smoked bacon crab cake burger. This was stupendous!
If this burger is up it is a must have, the crab patty actually tasted like fresh crab! The whisky sour I slurped down while eating was very scrumptious as I like mine a bit stiff.
The atmosphere was a bit hectic as it was very busy weekend. But one felt comfortable and among comfortable crowd. The food did not take long but our waitress disappeared unexpectedly. My fellow patron had «the best clam strips he’s ever had» were his remarks. I believe everyone in our party were very pleased. A bit exhausted from the weekend but very pleased with the food. I am definitely coming back!

First time here we had a grilled Tuna sandwich and Reuben sandwich with house salads. Sandwiches were great in size and taste. Salads were small, disappointed in the barely average service.

Walked in because the menu looked okay. Sat down and got up right away because it smelled like drunk Uncle Bob and walked out. No thanks.

Randomly chose this place on a weekend trip to coast. We caught them on a slow time and service was great. I ordered the fish and chips and it was top notch. The beer selection was not great unless you like shock top and other macros but that was not a deal breaker. I would definitely come back next time I am in town.

This was our first time in Finns Fish House! I’m glad we had lunch here. There’s not a lot of people when we came in maybe because its 10:30 on a Thursday morning. Our hostess were kind enough to give us the lunch menu since we really wanted to try their lunch menu. I had Smoked Salmon with Cheese Ravioli which is delicious! Creamy with a little dash of shredded cheese, a good amount of ravioli plus plenty smoked salmon which is a plus! My husband had the Pan Fried Trout with Mashed Potato and some vegetables. The trout is HEAVEN! Pan fried to perfection. Not burnt at all! The skin was crispy but the meat is just cooked perfectly! I am in love! I think I had more of that trout than my husband has. I highly recommend it to people who loves to eat fish, who are not easily disgusted of the smell. Maybe my description of the smell is a bit unfair but I’m Asian and I’m not easily repelled by the fish smell. So, I really can’t say if its a bad smell or a good smell. To me, it was an inviting smell!
The crab cake for appetizer is good, too. Served in 2. There’s more crab cake to it! My experience so far with restaurants near the Nortwest Coast are positive! The portions are enough to fill your belly and delicious too! So, if you happen to visit the coast, I encourage you to NOT order steak but order seafood. They go all out with the portion at a reasonable price!

When you walk in the prices might be a little scary but understanding since this is an upscale restaurant and the portions are very large and very hearty. My service was lightning speed and very polite. We will be returning to this restaurant! If you stay with the river inn hotel and reserve off Groupon you’ll even receive a $ 10 off coupon to this and a few other restaurants.

After a string of excellent (if overly rich) breakfasts stateside, this was a bit of a let down. My veggie omelette was rather bland and the veggie filling leaned a bit heavily on the onion side. Ok place but not the best. I did very much like their tea options — seeing us hesitate, our very kind waitress brought the entire selection out for us to choose from which was a nice touch. I’d probably give it another go if I was in the area but would choose a different meal.

We walked Broadway looking for a place to eat, we had a coupon to try Finns so that is what we did. Wait looked scary at first, but tables opened up quite quickly.
I ordered the seafood fettuccine the plate was around 21 $ the price point was OK for the location & quality of items (salmon, shrimp and Dungeness crab), it tasted exactly as I had hoped and I was happy with what I ordered. My wife ordered the crab melt and she really seemed to enjoy it (as did my son who had the fish and chips).
Service was a bit spotty, had to chase down other servers, because ours kind of disappeared. This was a resort town, but it wasn’t to terribly busy at the moment.

I just visited their bar for this trip, but it was charming. They had a little fire table/​pit in the center of the bar portion of the restaurant, which looked fun to sit at.
They seemed to be a full service bar, and willing to make any thing I ordered including blended margaritas. And served bar food in the bar and it was decent.
I ordered a drink off the drink menu that had huckleberry in the name and it was good worth it! Too sweet!

I would love to turn here for dinner sometime!

Muy buenos precios y el menú de desayuno es fantástico. El servicio es excelente y los precios son perfectos para el tamaño de las comidas. Recomiendo el omelette con camarones y cangrejo.

So, this place was a bit awkward at first. We had a large party so we sat in the bar. A random lady passing us shot out a «the wait takes forever» as she left, but we found that was not really the case. The bar tender was cool about us moving tables after we ordered, and was on top of the drink and food orders. The bar is majorly different from the front of the house. Like, the locals hang out in the bar while the tourists use the dinning room.
The food was ok. I had the fish tacos and while tasty, but had way too much cabbage on it. My husbands fish Alfredo was full of fish but was had too much cheese.
The servers where awesome, but we probably won’t be back for the food.
