Wingstop

I ordered boneless wings, but by the time I got home they had magically regenerated their bones! :-O
Make sure you check your order if doing carry out. Second time my order has been wrong at this location. Don’t worry folks, I did double check the receipt emailed to me to make sure it wasn’t my fault, and I do have pics to prove it otherwise it didn’t happen.

Tried Wingstop for the first time and I won’t try it again.
I love fried wings, especially those that aren’t smother in a batter so I was semi excited to check out Wingstop. We ordered their 3 flavor: Lemon Chicken, Cajun, and Garlic chicken.
Lemon chicken was the best of the three. It had a good balance of the seasoning. The wings were nicely fried so each bite was pretty crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. The only thing that I noticed about those wings were the fact that they had used a lot of butter.
The Cajun wings tasted like buffalo wings with cajun spices added on top of it. We only had 6 wings and we couldn’t finish it between the two of us. I was expecting more cajun but my taste bud were telling me buffalo wings. It was a little sour to the taste. It appears that Wingstop believes that Cajun means Tobascco. Unfortunately not…
The last set of wings we had were the garlic parmesan wings. If it weren’t for the crap ton of Kraft grated parmesan cheese smoothered on top of the wings, it would have been very good. However, there were so much cheese that we had to wipe it off.
All in all I’m not going to go back to Wingstop for a long long time. I’ll make my own chicken wings in the future!!!

Fast and polite service but food is just average. Great prices, but as stated before wings and fries are just okay, nothing special.

Placed an order online to be picked up at 6:30. Was a 15 piece order and a large order of fries so it was nothing big. They did not even begin to make my food until I got there at 6:30. I walked out of the store with my food at 6:50. People who were in line before ordered and got their food before I did. I love wingstop but this was in acceptable.

Eat here for dinner ATLEAST once a week. At least. Because we eat at this place alot. Lol its usually the same night shift workers as well and they are great. I call and order and it’s ready for pick up in within 15 mins, we’re in and out. It’s great lol. Food is always good except the occasional forgetting an extra sauce we get. But it’s great!

We had to wait for the rude ghetto gorda to finish talking to her cholo boyfriend before ordering. The other ghetto gorda was just plain ill mannered & rude so we walked out.

Horrible, I wish they gave us some chicken with our salt sticks. We should have known off the bat with the rude staff. Unfortunate because we have been to other wing stops in the past and had no complaints. The staff wasn’t just rude with me and my wife as we overheard them with other guests. The wings were very disappointing, my wife and I left half of our order on the table because we couldn’t handle the saltiness. I would not recommend this place to anyone, I still enjoy wing stop but will pass this dirt hole up next time.

Food was great as always the only complaint I have is the manager Chris seems like a real jerk. I dont get it we’ve been to the wingstop in salinas and everything great I think the owner should hand pick the mangers in the seaside location

I walked in and three members of the staff were on break. And they were getting kind of busy. Why would you send everyone on break at once? I don’t mind waiting my turn, but had three employees not been eating and breaking I could have been served in a more prompt manner. The guy who took my order was a little rude to the one man in the back working, spoke in an extremely condescending tone. Even to me I felt. I asked about their beers on tap, as most wing stops have beer and he said something snotty about not having beer. At the end of the order he goes «alright killer that will be (says the price)»… Killer?! Who the hell says this? I was so off put that I got it to go and ate it at the bar down the street that does serve beer. And it took like 16 minutes to get glorified chicken nuggets. Honestly I would never come back.

Seriously, fire everyone and get people who actually are appreciative to have a job.
And make better food!
The fries, of all things, should really be way better. The wait sucks but it’s chicken and it can take a while to cook.
Over-​all I avoid eating here, I get upset stomach aches every time and my children get diarrhea, FYI moms.

They always have the best winds! They keep it very well maintained and the staff is absolutely phenomenal! I don’t think i have ever walked in by someone not smiling.

Love this place!!! Their prices are so reasonable and I love that when I give my phone number they already have my previous order saved so I don’t have to repeat for this time! Plus the staff is super nice and attentive!!! I only wish they had more locations in Monterey and P. G!
The best is the classic hot bone in wings, Cajun fries and extra ranch!!! We are super addicted to this place!

Went to their website which makes it very clear they want you to place your order through their online portal. I ordered a 50pc wings and bleu cheese tub to take to a party later this evening. The total came to less than $ 40 and the option was there to set the time to pick up the wings which for me was 4pm this afternoon and pay for them at that time.
I get a phone call a couple hours later telling me that they will not complete my order unless I prepay them over the phone. I see no mention of this policy on their website and if it is policy then wouldn’t the website force you to pay via credit card during the checkout process?
At any rate if I had wanted to pay ahead of time I would have done so instead of SELECTING «PAY AT THE STORE».
Ultimately I had to order them from Buffalo Wild Wings which has equally horrible service, but in the end one business is getting my money and this one isn’t. Seems pretty silly to lose a long time customer and the potential for hundreds of dollars in sales over a $ 40 meal ticket that is deemed too big of a risk for management to gamble on, but I guarantee I will never frequent another Wingstop again.
When I place an order and choose a specific service to suit my needs I expect the company I am doing business with to uphold their end of the agreement that is not what happened in this instance.

My only experience with this business was take out orders.
We placed our order at the counter and everything seemed very clear cut. We got our food in a timely manner, and the woman working the counter was not overly cheerful, helpful, or genuinely interested in good customer service, but it’s a Wing Stop in Seaside; not a five star joint in a ritzy city renowned for its dining experiences. My expectations were not high, I just wanted food.
After we got home, we realized they had forgotten to package half of our order. We called the restaurant and the person who answered the phone was not apologetic and seemed to blame us for the mistake. After we offered to go back to pick up the food, they said they would try to have it ready for us. Try? Really? Nice.
We went all the way back and waited ten minutes to get the food we had already paid for and were supposed to receive the first time we went in.
Now the food must have been epic, right? No. The wing seasoning amounted to really clumpy mounds of what appeared to be Parmesan and garlic salt dumped hastily (en mass) over what was essentially chicken nuggets. The medium sauce wings were in contrast very dry and barely seasoned. It was weird.
I prefer the wings at BDubs, but I hate the service at BDubs. Maybe I should just give up on wings joints in the Peninsula.

Im a fan of Wing Stop but this location is horrible! I can’t believe Im even giving them 2 stars. They got my order right and in a timely manner. I got a 10 piece combo of half mild n half parmesean classic wings. My husband got a 10 piece combo of half Louisiana rub n half lemon pepper classic wings. When I first opened the box of wings they smelled really weird, like crap to be honest lol. So I start eating them and THEY ALL TASTED THE SAME! It was discusting, they had an old cheese flavor to them. I thought it was just my imagination but even my husband said they tasted old n gross. Ive never had that happen before. I was especially pissed cause im currently pregnant and ive been craving Wing Stop all week! So to be starving and recieve nasty old tasting wings was extremely disappointing. I’m never going back to this location.

This is the first and last time I’ve been/​will go to a Wingstop. They need to work on their flavors BIG TIME. I believe it was the Louisiana Cajun one that was plain disgusting. It was like my little brother reached the seasoning cabinet and formulated a poisonous concoction. I also tried the Mango Habanero and regular Buffalo Wing flavor. Not as bad as the Louisiana Cajun but nothing like Buffalo Wild Wings. I felt terrible after I ate here. I will not be coming back. As much as I didn’t like the flavors of their wings/​strips, I do have to say that their yeast rolls are PDG. So… they have that going for them.

This is one of the cleanest and fanciest WingStops I have ever eaten at. The wings were cooked to order and the size of the wings was exceptional.
The customer service did not disappoint and the ambience was great. Enjoyed having a late dinner here with my girlfriend as we watched the Warriors game from 3 flat screen tvs, which were relatively large. Normally tvs in WingStop are not in HD but these were and their audio was phenomenal.
What surprised me the most was that they offered us plates for our wings. Never had I been offered plates at WingStop.
This is the best WingStop ever.

Good service and really friendly workers. Enjoyed my time inside with out any crazy loud noises! The service is fast and the wings are super tasty

Since they opened the have definitely improved the service. I always get a smile from the person at the register (no more bad attitudes) and they are very informative on how long until your food is ready. Quality is great and now the service is matching the food.
Great job improving!

Soggy fries… how can anyone mess up on fries with a professional deep fryer?
The chicken is just fried in the deep fryer and dumped in the sauce of your choice. Nothing special. No taste inside the chicken at all. I would rather buy Popeyes’ fried chicken and use the sauce of your choosing from Trader Joes or Whole Foods.
Skip it. Not worth it.
