The best food! If you want a legit Boston cheese steak(just don’t call it a Philly cheesesteak) this is your place. Just tonight the owner was delivering for Eat24 on his own to make his dream come true. There was a little mistake on the order(missing items) he called the store added more items for free including what was left out. A true good hearted Man that just wants to make you happy. Also found out they have to move locations cause of money.(rent went up 3 fold due to the location) But they will be another. Can’t wait!!!

The steak and cheese(aka philly cheesesteak?) was great. Meat was tender, not rubbery, so good job people! «Hole in the wall» is an accurate description. Small menu, order from a counter, bottled drinks self serve… not a sit-down restaurant. 5 stars cuz the food is great. I will be back!

I think this place has the best cheesesteak in town, but I’m only giving it three stars because the hours of operation seem to be always changing and they never update this site so I often find myself driving to a closed restaurant. In fact this happened to me again today which is what prompted me to write this review. If you’re going to drive to eat at this place I recommend calling first to make sure their open.

I found Classic Street Dining on Unilocal and decided I would try it out for lunch one day. Warning: it takes awhile to get your sandwich, but is definitely worth the wait. Their Steak & Cheese with grilled onions was the best cheesesteak I’ve found so far in Washington. The meat was seasoned well, the bread held up without falling apart, and the onions were grilled perfectly. My one complaint about it is that I really wish they would toast the bread a bit as it was rather cold and really chewy, making for a weird contrast with the steaming hot ingredients. Overall, I would definitely recommend trying them out if you’re craving a cheesesteak. It is a bit pricey though for the size of the sandwich, but if you want quality over quantity and are willing to pay for it then this is the place for you. Just maybe ask them if they’ll toast your bread.

This is one of those holes-in-the-walls that would be really easy to walk right past. Luckily I was on my way to the corner store next door when I noticed their chalkboard sign out front and decided rather than a cold, questionable sandwich from a cold case I would have a hot and delicious meal for $ 5 as advertised on the sign! To be specific, the hot dog for $ 5 lured me in. I’d already packed the BF a lunch with chips, cookie, etc. and had forgotten to bring something for myself, so I had all the sides I wanted/needed. They sub a field roast dog for no upcharge, so I went with that option. The price for adding caramelized onions was .25 on the POS, but staff told me it was $ 1. In all fairness, they charged me the change and not a whole buck, but that was a little shady. There is a small, nice seating area inside.

Gristle in the burger — I spit out 3 big chunks before I gave up on the rest of the burger. Once again sent tartar sauce instead of ranch dressing. It’s a bummer because I dig this place in general, but there are some kinks to work out.

I ordered a cheeseburger, very tasty and super affordable. Surprisingly the patty wasn’t previously frozen and actually hand pounded. The price point, awesome as well, $ 6.02 for a quality burger in Seattle is almost unheard off. It’s just a little hole in the wall but worth a drop in for sure. The staff is super friendly, I will be back soonest to try the cheese steak. As a Fremont local, it’s great to see a quick stop spot for a burger or sammie.

I’ve only had the cheese steak sandwich here so far, but it is delicious. Every time I get a cheese steak other places they are dry. Here they are juicy and have just the right amount of melted cheese. My caveat is that I’ve never been to Philly so I can’t comment on how it compares to the original. The lady that has helped me both times I’ve been there is friendly and attentive. I’ll be back.

Had a salad here today and it was gigantic. Looks like they are expanding the menu as well. I see that pulled pork is coming soon. Yum!

Walking into this place is like walking into a deli back east. There are no frills in the décor(and quite honestly I like it that way). The frills are in the flavor. I had the steak and cheese with onions(a sandwich people in Philadelphia call a cheese steak … in Boston it’s a steak and cheese) and dear lord was it wonderful. Loaded with delicious American cheese, and seasoned perfectly, that sandwich was flat out delicious. I love that the food here is made the way it would be in Boston, and not presented with some kind of Seattle twist. This is the sandwich shop we were in desperate need of and damn am I glad it’s just a short drive away!

This place is awesome. Went there for my second time yesterday and received great service once again. Went with a classic turkey sandwich this time around and it was absolutely delicious. Loads of turkey stacked on a hoagie with all the fixins. Manager also threw in a bag of chips for free. Haven’t tried there hot sandwhiches but they all sound delicious. Will definitely be coming to this place more often.

Owner is a real Boston guy. Back East, we would be rivals(I am from NY). Here, we are fellow Esat Coast transplants. Just stopped in for my first sandwich today, a great hearty meatball hoagie(it would be a wedge where I come from). Yummy, homemade, filling, great. Cannot wait to try the chicken parm! If you need some East Coastyness, stop by.

We stumbled upon Classic Street Deli on the 4th of July around midnight. The streets were littered with people, so we decided to take a peek inside. While the space is small, the food is fabulous. I ordered the«Steak N’ Cheese» w/grilled onions and my girlfriend ordered a plain Polish with mustard. Both of these were simple, yet delicious. They shave their own Angus Beef in house and you can truly taste the difference in quality from others who make a similar sandwich. During our feast, the gentleman in the kitchen(I’m assuming chef/owner) came out with 2 meatballs for us to try. Unbelievable! Again, they grind their own Angus for these meatballs that literally melt in your mouth. The sauce they use is delicious, an aspect of meatball sandwiches that usually goes overlooked. I’ll be back here again and would recommend this spot to anyone looking to grab a delicious sandwich. I’ve been told to «wrap it up» by my girlfriend, come try this place!

The taco truck was closed so I started walking towards plan B and then I saw it. A sidewalk sign that had the words cheese steak, meatball, and chicken parmesan on it. This clearly warranted careful consideration and intensive investigation. As I walked in the door I was greeted by a gentleman who clearly knew his stuff when it came to the fine art of crafting savory sandwiches from house made ingredients and we chatted briefly as I perused the menu. For my friend, it was roast beef piled high inside a hoagie roll with all the toppings. Fresh and delicious toppings no less. So many in fact that they could not be contained without some form of magical spell which we did not have on this day. This was a truly impressive meal. For me it was the simple yet delicious cheese steak sandwich, again piled high with meat and blanketed with a melty layering of Swiss cheese. The location, while small, is in prime territory for the Fremont masses to easily make their way in and, if all goes well, this could easily turn into a staple of the neighborhood’s diverse food culture. After speaking further with the gentleman who greeted me and took my order, it was very clear how the focus of the establishment would be to provide good food made from scratch with quality ingredients and topping it off with friendly and genuine service. There was even a mention of updating and perfecting the menu to give the people exactly what they want and when the suggestion was thrown out that a lobster roll sandwich was in the works, I quickly committed myself to making a return trip as soon as I possibly could.
