I wanted to get rid of a 15YOIBM laptop w/o throwing it in the trash. I pulled the hard-drive and tossed that for security. Called«CRS» and they were happy to take it. Just dropped it off and walked away. It’s good to know it’s not going into a landfill.

You walk in and it’s like the apocalypse has come leaving the remaining few to scavenge for the remnants of technology. In other words, a hobo paradise. There are pieces of computer hardware, random monitors, old school i-macs, pentium II towers, 15 lb laptops, weird networking hubs, assorted cables, printers, and various misc items stacked up to the ceiling. Then there’s the mysterious guy who seems buried amongst the mass of stuff. I came looking for an ac adapter for a laptop, which to my surprise he was able to locate in a mountain of boxes. I was truly amazed he knew where anything was considering the layout. The best part was leaving with something that would have cost me twice as much anywhere else. This place is anything but typical, and I’m convinced I could build a kick ass robot with all the junk they have there.
