Eesh, Happy Burrito does not make me happy. Being a huge fan of food trucks, I was hopeful when this place first showed up. Standard, cheap Mexican fare on the menu, how can you go wrong? Well, apparently you can if you use chewy, overcooked, flavorless meat in your tacos and cheese that Im pretty sure came pre-shredded in a bag. Granted you aren’t breaking the bank with these things, but id rather save the $ 2 and get something at a convenience store. 2 stars only cuz their salsa was spicy and they had a strange but tasty orange soda in a glass bottle to buy. I might stop by for one of those if I was thirsty, but I won’t be coming back for the food.

Happy Hour. Happy Ending. And now, Happy Burrito. I had the pork burrito today for lunch. For six bucks you can feel like you ate a forearm, I mean, if you like that sort of thing. Pork was delicious and the combination of ingredients was expert. They even have a table! That’s right, a table, so you can sit and eat your food. Talk about classy. Added bonus: right next to the Belltown dog park, so after your meal you can buy some crack! I mean, walk your dog!

Better than the taco truck that used to be there, but for lunch, I’ll go somewhere else. I had the pork Happy Burrito. It’s not too bad, but the pork was kind of chunky and chewing, having been cut into pieces rather than slow cooked so long that it falls apart on it’s own. I might try it once more to see if the beef is any better.

Not the best mexican food that I’ve had but it’s perfect if you are in Belltown and looking around for late nite grub. I like their Tacos and burrito.

Need food at 2AM in Belltown and you’re over cream cheese hotdogs? Here you go! The food: really good. $ 1 tacos, $ 6 carne asada with full plate of beans, rice, guac, and salsa. On Friday and Saturday nights I work at a club in Belltown. After work, my co-workers and I are starving, dealing with drunk people all night, and we brave the sketch streets of Bellown at 2AM to get Happy Burrito. So glad they opened up here! Makes me miss living in California.
