Levitas has become my favorite part of my fitness regimen! I’ve been to several All Levels classes and I always come out feeling stretched and comfortable. The instructors are really great about accommodating everyone. from beginners to those who have been there a little longer. Don’t be worried if you feel a little dizzy after the first 2 – 3 classes — there are delicious ginger candies at Levitas that will help and it does go away. My only complaint is that there aren’t enough classes after 5:00p on weekdays so I can’t go there as often during the week! :)

I first tried a class when this studio was in a different location then they moved and I was so disappointed. I am so happy that I found it again. This place is simply amazing. I can’t get enough of the aerial classes. I feel all stretched out while being supported. Not hard on my joints at all and my back is feeling better than ever. I spoke with the owner. She was friendly, approachable, easy to talk to, and she seems to have her finger on the pulse of what is happening in the world of yoga. This is a studio worth keeping your eye on. I am excited to see what kind of classes they add next.

I can now do a handstand and headstand on my own thanks to this studio!!! The fabric holds your body in poses you never thought you could do! Seriously the coolest studio I have ever been to!!! I have tried just about every studio in town that offers aerial and I can confidently say Levitas is the best Aerial/Yoga/Fitness studio in Seattle. I’m obsessed! I have never been one to stick with a certain fitness or yoga routine because I get bored easily. Levitas is a studio that keeps me interested and constantly looking forward to the next class. It is all thanks to Levitas that I’m in much better shape and an overall happier person. *Their classes seriously put me in a better mood* They offer so many different types of aerial classes like… aerial yoga, aerial strength, aerial dance, a tricks class, etc. They also have stand up paddle board yoga(which is so cool) and hip hop yoga. This studio has such creative classes and all of them are so much fun with amazingly talented and laid back instructors that make you feel very comfortable. I can’t pick a favorite class because they all serve a specific purpose whether it be for strengthening, getting a killer work out, relaxing, improving balance, mastering an awesome balance pose, having fun, dancing, etc. they have a class for everything! Levitas has lifted my spirits and my booty !!! THANKYOULEVITAS!!!

Levitas Rocks! I wholeheartedly recommend giving this studio a try, it has changed my life in the most positive ways! I have been taking classes/practicing for over a year now and have noticed both an increase in strength and flexibility I didn’t know I had. The lifted classes are all done using the hammock, either doing inversions or using the hammock to move, stretch & strengthen different parts of your body. The inversions are a fav of mine, the decompression feels fantastic! Classes: — [L] Yoga(all levels & basics): Whether you are advanced in your practice or brand new to this style of yoga these are great class for all. I always feel well stretched and relaxed after class. You can make each class your own with modifications to increase or decrease the intensity the instructors are great at providing adjustments to suit all levels of students. — [L] Aerial Dance: A fun way to learn a choreographed dance to music while using the hammock in the movements. There were flips & tricks involved, so this wasn’t a class for a beginner. But definitely super fun!(Hope to see more of these on the schedule soon.) — [L] Strength: This class is awesome, you will definitely get a workout. Great for strengthening your legs, tightening your core and building up arm muscles! Not a light and easy class, you will work your bum off! I personally won’t take this class as a first timer to the studio(start with a basic or all level class first to get used to the inversions and the hammock itself.) — Indoor SUP: It’s so much fun ~ you must try it! It is a mat style vinyasa flow but all done on an indoor SUP board. Being on the board challenges your balance and works your core while you move through the poses. This class is for all levels so everyone should try it! My little side note: Personally I got a little dizzy & lightheaded the first couple classes I took so don’t be surprised if you do as well. It will go away as you get used to being upside down just listen to your body, it will tell you when you have had enough for that class. The best advice I’ve heard is know your limits, if you aren’t feeling it or have had enough don’t push it.

This place was amazing. I took the beginners class not knowing what to expect. The instructor provided great audio and visual instructions. If you’re familiar with yoga the class is definitely doable. Even when you’re completely«still,» the fabric will still rock you slightly. I found it relaxing, but it definitely isn’t for those prone to motion sickness.
