Nyc Deli Market

I hit this deli when I need a quick spot to grab a great sandwich and get back into the office on a busy day. I have only sampled their deli sandwiches. Though I am planning to try the hot food bar soon.
One thing I will say for NYC is that I have yet to find a better Ruben (pastrami) sandwich in Downtown Seattle! Consistently great!
They use good quality ingredients with all of their sandwiches and the service is friendly and prompt. Give it a try.

I keep wavering between 2 and 3 stars but think that I am settling on 3. There is a good selection of sammishes on the menu board but you will want to make sure that you explain exactly how you want it prepared. My first impression was less than stellar as I ordered a hot Pastrami with Swiss and they put the meat, cheese and produce in the microwave. The result was fairly awful.
The next time I walked them through exactly how I wanted it prepared and the results were excellent.
Another plus is that they have a green salad bar and a couple of hot items that are sold by the pound.
Very friendly, hard working folks who go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
It will not be the best sammish that you ever had but if you are willing to work with them on the preparation, the ingredients are good quality and you will probably be quite satisfied with the results.
