My wife and I stopped in for an early dinner. While both of our entries tasted good, we have the following observations… The steak was too stringy and fat. The shepherds pie was made with ground beef. I have never had shepherds pie with ground beef before.

Met a friend here yesterday to try for the first time. I have to say that it was pretty underwhelming. I got the Irish dip. The sandwich was alright, but the fries were a bit too salty. It really wasn’t worth what I paid for it. The service was so-so. Our server came by twice the entire time… once to take our order and again to give us our check. The best thing about Paddy’s was the view(we sat outside by the water).I probably won’t come back here.

After a nice afternoon outside, we decided to stop and have a bite to eat. I ordered the chicken burger on brioche. The sandwich arrived barely warm and the fries were cold and appeared to be sitting around for awhile. Our server, Teyjea, was somewhat nonexistent. Definitely not worth $ 13. My friends had a roast beef sandwich au jus and a rueben which they said were so-so, and cost more than my lunch. Not worth the money.

Good sliders and fries. Reasonably priced. Decent view of the dock. Bathrooms were a bit messy. The Irish mint julep was so-so.

My spouse and I visited Paddy Coyne’s which is located at Alaskan way for lunch during a rainy day. I am fond of Fish and chips and ordered it but was disappointed with the taste. Fish tasted bitter and it was very cold too. We also ordered Shepherd’s Pie which tasted good(Obviously better than the fish and chips). Probably would not prefer going again.

This place was ok. I ordered the Shepherds pie but it wasn’t the best. Service was slow even though there wasn’t a lot of people. They have seating outdoors near the water which was nice.

Will not be back. I know it’s a bar and you have to expect bar service when you sit in the restaurant but the completely forgot our appetizers(and us as a table really) and ended up bringing the apps out after we had finished our main course. So tacky. Not only that but the manager(I think) was the food runner who brought it so I’m not sure how he could be so clueless as to think we would be ordering our salads after the main course but he was :/ We waited about fifteen minutes after we had finished eating to finally get our check and another ten before anyone came back to allow us to pay. Understandable if they were busy but there were about five tables in the place. Poor service and the food doesn’t even come close to making up for it

Love their location and Happy Hour Specials. The view from the outside seating is excellent. A view of the waterfront and the Olympic Mountains. The beer is competitively priced and their staff is great. I’d definitely give it a shot if you find yourself in the area.

While walking back toward downtown from the sculpture park, we stopped in for a refreshing glass of happy hour. I was offered an Alaskan draft and it was tasty. The place was really big, but pretty empty. Big windows and a slight view of the bay, there was a rather large building blocking most of the view, but it’s on the water, the place is pretty nice, had a good drink and then off on our merry way. No real complaints here.

great place for lunch, very friendly staff, and great food if you’re looking for some lunch to help get you through your day. the atmosphere is very reminiscent of pubs I’d go to in England, so it’s really nice to walk in and feel like I’m back in the UK, even though this is an Irish pub. overall, I love it, and I make it a habit to come here once a week for lunch

We’ve had amazing service, from the bartender Ryan, every time. We tend to stop in late night mid week and love it. We didn’t generally expect to get great food at 10:30 at night but that’s exactly what we got. We had good service from the wait staff. The only thing I didn’t like was being asked to close out due to shift change, but I’m willing to overlook that because all the staff was incredibly helpful. It’s definitely our favorite little reverse happy hour place.

Poor service, really cheap tasting cocktails, lacking Irish authenticity, and worst of all calling a «cottage pie» a «shepherd’s pie» which too me is criminally false advertising(shepherd means lamb). The only good thing about this place is they will show Rugby and soccer but usually only if no American sports are on. A classic example of why you avoid anyplace that put«Irish Pub» in its name.

A great spot for breakfast next to Pier 69 on way to Victoria. We had the bangers and eggs, Bloody Mary and mimosa’s. Hit the spot. Breakfast selections were of the tradition. Irish variety. The sourdough toast with orange marmalade butter was a standout. Just here for breakfast not sure about rest of menu.

Great location not so great service. They hosted a networking event that food was provided for. They also sold beers and other drinks for a cost. The kicker is if you were a part of the group even after buying a drink they would not let you be outside but other non event members were at the tables with only drinks the whole time. Clear age discrimination based on the visuals of the interaction and not acceptable. If you paid for a drink you should be treated as a restaurant guest plain and simple. The location responded with this message to the Unilocal review. I witnessed a few people checking in and the host did not let guests know this(further evident by the fact members kept trying to access the area). The simple fact is young people purchasing drinks — some mixed, wines, ect) and not specials were not allowed to be on the patio and older guests purchasing the same items were allowed to be. If your location has a food purchase requirement for everyone that is one thing but this was segregated based on age and that is not ok. This is a reply from their GM Im not sure if you are a member of(XXXX) but if you are you might want to talk to the organisers before posting things like this. (XXXX) did not pay for food Paddy Coyne’s did and also discounted drinks at a total cost of over $ 1000. For seating it was made very clear that the only area the bar would keep was the back patio, everything else was for(XXXX) so we didn’t seat people not in group in the middle of it and we tried to do the same for non group by separating both. We blocked off the whole front patio for(XXXX) and I know the organisers told people the back patio was off limits to(XXXX). I know(XXXX) has few places that will provide free food and discount drinks to help promote them so please talk to the organizer(XXXX).com before posting online as this you could affect future events, and at least remove the lie the bank paid for food as Paddy Coyne’s did. Thanks Billy Whelan GM Paddy Coyne’s

Irish Pubs aren’t really my jam, but I was in the area early for a meeting and it was the easiest option for a snack, so I stopped in for a small cup of chowder. Their chowder was pretty good and hit the spot. The pub was nearly empty when I came in(at an odd time of day) and I received prompt and friendly service sitting at the bar.

Meh. Let me explain: Beautiful location. Very good service. Loud generic Irish trad music. Excellent liquor selection, but no artisan cocktails to back it up. Beer is the usual suspects for Irish themed chain stores, with big ticket«micro» brews(Elysian and Alaskan and Hales, not really micro anymore). Whatever. Food is weird. Sauces are unnecessarily cautious and bland. Meat cuts are standard issue. Bangers taste like brats. Salads less than fresh. Nothing, and I mean nothing, to write home about here except the stellar location, great service, and impressive interior design. That’s all well and good, but it doesn’t taste good, and it won’t bring me back. Owners: you’ve got good people and a great location. Give your crew something to work with, and your customers more than a view.

Really great food! I had a mushroom soup that had huge chunks and whole pieces of mushroom in an amazingly tasty soup/broth. The reuben sandwich was moist without being gooshy with sauce. The bread was fresh tasting and not too big. The restaurant itself is kind of normal Irish Pub décor/vibe. Service was quick and friendly.

After a wedding, once the decorations were dispersed, the wedding guests departed, the presents put away, and the wedding party changed in street attire we wanted to have a drink and be off our feet. The hour was late, the roads were vacant, and most bars had shuttered their doors but we were undeterred as we were directed to Paddy Coyne’s. When we arrived they had already put up most of their chairs on the tables and admittedly they glanced at the large party suspiciously. Our clothes were street, but our make up faces and done up hair gave us away as something else. A moment later they reset a table by the bar and explained politely that after 2AM there would be no more alcohol. We understood. It was late. Our server was Irish with an amazing accent and oozing charm. While we were exhausted our server was amazing! He gave the happily married couple a round of drinks on the house and took the rest of our orders by memory and perfectly gave our drinks minutes later. He watched us from a distance so that once we drained our glasses we could squeeze another round in before last call. He was cheery until the very end. When we left even the waitress who first eyed us weirdly called out congrats to the happily married couple. I recall the drinks were strong, the service was great, and the mood was upbeat. It was a great note to end the festivities on.

Nice pub on the waterfront. I’ve seen this spot for a while now and finally made it in. It’s bigger than I expected, they have a plenty of seats in the dining area and a good sized bar. The food choices include the typical pub fare but they also have some very nice seafood dishes. The fisherman’s pie(seafood shepherd pie), cod sandwich, and dill salmon were some oceanic options that come to mind. It was cold and rainy out so I ended up going with the beef stew, and I was very satisfied with my decision. It came with two slices of soda bread and a nice mound of mashed potatoes dropped in the middle. It was all so good and very filling. We received really good service, they were friendly, quick, and attentive. Our waitress made sure we had full drinks and was fast when asked for ketchup and other things. I wouldn’t mind stopping by here again on my way home from work, it’s a nice place to get out of the rush hour traffic and have some drinks and comfort food.
