My boyfriend and I have been coming here off and on for the last year or so. We really love how big the portions are(the tortellini and spaghetti plates are ridiculously huge, A+) and how delicious their pizza is! We normally get a pizza and a large caesar salad when we come here and it always comes with a basket(yes, an actual basket!) of delicious garlic bread. The restaurant looks clean and cozy and they have a small outside seating area right next to the sidewalk that we have not tried yet but we plan to in the summer. The wine list is basic but it serves its purpose and their Chianti goes really well with all of their pasta dishes. The staff is friendly but my one and only wish is that they would be more attentive. The last time we went there, there was a cutomer situation from a delivery order that was causing everyone to be distracted and ultimately, at one point, ignore most of the patrons in the restaurant. I would recommend that when you come here to not be in a hurry. I give this restaurant a 4⁄5 because the food is delicious, the people are really nice but the service needs some work. This is a great neighborhood joint that I plan on returning to time and time again!

I didn’t think Seattle had good pizza until i ate here. The pizza(delivery) is always fast and hot. I’ve had the cheese and pepperoni and every time it’s the best. They have it down to perfection and can duplicate it each time.

Our favorite pizza spot. Traditional, specialty & custom pizzas in every size you like. Lovely salads too including: Cobb, Caesar, or the dinner salad. Delivery in the neighborhood. Nice people.

Always fast delivery! And it’s free! The staff is extremely nice here. Sit-in or take-out, the food is always hot, delicious, and super speedy! Do yourself a favor and try their dolmades and their artichoke dip! Super yummy. As a vegetarian, it’s always difficult finding places that aren’t just salads or tofu dishes… and these guys dominate. Will definitely continue eating and ordering from here!

Soprano’s is my favorite pizza joint in north Seattle! The Mafia is fantastic and always makes for a fantastic breakfast the next morning when I return home with generous leftovers. Service is always friendly and personable, and the staff exude a pleasantly neighborhood vibe. We will continue to return often!

While I’ll admit to not having had their pizza(yet), I do come here on occasion to order their Caesar salads, dolmas and garlic bread. All of which are tasty and in generous proportion. The location is nice too, being tucked into a curbside residential neighborhood’s off-main street shopping row. Views with outside dining during the Summer months give it a European feel. Not sure, but it seems to be a favorite place for families(with kids), the lunch crowd and elderly neighbors.

Stopped by for lunch one day and ordered a lunch special(salad and personal pizza). Was absolutely delicious; parking was a breeze, and they are family-friendly!

The people working weren’t even in the restaurant they were outside smoking and we didn’t get our food for like a half hour and no one ever refilled our water and on top of that are table wasn’t clean when we sat down and they never cleaned it

We had eaten Soprano’s pizza as take out and knew we liked the pizza. Pleasantly surprised at the restaurant, sometimes places that do take out business don’t have much of a restaurant, but the Crown Hill restaurant is roomy, pleasant, clean. There’s a corner with toys and room for the little boy who came after us to spread out toys(which were plastic and washable!) and make some noise without bothering anyone. Our server was friendly and helpful. We had a large greek salad to share — enough for the 3 of us, bread was complimentary with dinner My husband had baked lasagne(a generous portion, included soup or salad, he got chicken potato soup), my son had the house calzone and I had the greek calzone. The crust for the calzones with excellent — thin, almost flaky and very tasty. Generous meat and cheese in both calzones. The Greek Calzone has garlic, Feta, gyro meat, spices and comes with tzatziki sauce I really like. The Tzatziki sauce was thick with great dill and yogurt flavor. We are local, so will definitely be back again. Hope to try desserts next time

Hi all. I’ll admit to eating my fair share of pizza, as many Americans do. I always take note of the culinary differences that are representative of pizza. However, I am afraid to say that my experience at Soprano’s was my worst pizza experience of 2015, and quite possibly 2014 as well. The pizza was barely warm and swimming in a pool of grease. The crust was cheesy and bland. In addition, the crust was soggy and floppy. Essentially it was a tough sponge that was saturated with oil. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

Ordered deliver last night. Pizza was delicious. Arrived hot, quicker than they said it would. Driver was friendly. Toppings were delicious – especially the Italian sausage. We’ll definitely order again.

My husband and I have ordered delivery online at least 5 times from Soprano’s, but we’ve never dined at the restaurant. I don’t recall if we’ve ever ordered their pizza, but we’ve had several pasta dishes and desserts. The food is hit or miss(more often a hit), but we’ve kept coming back because of the convenience of online ordering, inexpensive delivery($ 0.99), speedy service, and large variety of menu options. You get a lot of bang for your buck because of the generous portion sizes and coupons/specials. I love that their pasta dishes come with a fresh side salad(with awesome Italian dressing) and garlic bread. I enjoyed and would recommend the Chicken Parmesan, Spaghetti Pavia, and Gnocchi Gorgonzola. The Baklava and NY Cheesecake with raspberry sauce are also very good(I don’t know if they’re homemade, but they were delicious). The Baked Lasagna, however, was the consistency of soup with baked cheese on top, and it tasted like frozen pizza. How does an Italian restaurant screw up lasagna? We most recently ordered the Salmon Fettuccine. The salmon was fresh, but the shrimp wasn’t fully cooked and there were a couple of hairs in the dish. I took the shrimp out and sauteed them before returning them to the dish, but I couldn’t eat another bite once I spotted the hairs. Unfortunately, I most likely won’t order from Soprano’s again. The Salmon Fettuccine ruined it for me.

I wish I could give zero stars… Yesterday I visited this restaurant with the intent to use a LivingSocial voucher I purchased for this restauant. I ordered the food over the phone, for takeout. When I got there: 1) The server/cashier said the conditions of the voucher were that I needed to dine in. I said no problem, but noted to her that there was nothing on the voucher fine print that made that stipulation. She said maybe not, but that’s the way it is. So, I said let’s settle up, and I’ll sit down and eat the dinner. 2) She then said she couldn’t honor the voucher, and insisted that it must have been old. I was there on July 20, and the voucher expires July 30. She said that must be a mistake, because the last time they did a LivingSocial deal was two years ago. I didn’t have the information with me at the time, but my records show I bought the voucher on April 1, 2015. 3) The voucher was/is for $ 20, and I paid $ 12 for it. She said she could give me a $ 5 discount on the total bill. I said I couldn’t do that, as I paid more for it than the discount. She then said she could give me a $ 10 discount, and that was all she could do, I decided to not deal with the business any longer, and left. I have driven by the business many times and have frequently thought about stopping. I was at an event once that served Soprano’s pizza, and it was pretty good. I was looking forward to trying out other items from their menu(I had ordered a calzone, a salad, and tiramisu) but not if this is how they conduct business. EDIT: 07/27/2015 This is in response to the thoughtful and well-written response by Erdinc D. of Soprano’s… I don’t believe the server consulted anyone else. She seemed very sure of what she said, and I assumed she was a Soprano’s veteran, at least two years, to the extent she mentioned that was the last time Soprano’s did a LivingSocial deal. I just checked(five minutes ago) the Living Social web site, and the same deal I had and attempted to use is currently offered by LivingSocial, and I still receive notices from LivingSocial with this offer. Interesting the business does not seem to be aware of this. I have seen many flyers, mailers, ads, etc., over the years for Soprano’s. Are they honored, and not negotiated?

Really nice people who are great to the neighborhood kids, but the food is just SOBAD. It’s about as American as an Italian place could possibly be. Food is bland except for the taste of salt, sugar, and fat. Nothing inventive, nothing interesting, no homemade quality, no fresh herbs, tomatoes in salads are always pink & hard regardless of the season. If there was any alternative whatsoever in the neighborhood then this place would not exist. Again, really nice people though! Wish they’d listen to the Unilocal reviews…

Last night was my first time in. It was a terrible experience. The waitress was terrible through out our time. She never once came to our table to check up on how the meal was and if we needed anything. I would understand if it was a busy evening but it wasn’t. I had asked her multiple times if I could have some ranch for my pizza and by the time we finished I still did not receive it. The pizza came cold and it was not even good. I was not impressed with the over all experience and will not be returning there again.

I used to live a few blocks from Soprano’s. Recently, I was in the neighborhood and decided to stop by. The service I received was excellent! I can’t say enough about how good it was, even on a busy night. My server was attentive and helpful. She even tried to offer me a discount when she asked me about the food and found out I wasn’t thrilled. The portions are large and the price points are okay. I had the red and white spaghetti and a Caesar salad. I was definitely full but my taste buds were not impressed. The dish lacked salt and other seasonings for that matter. The calzone was HUGE! Again, definitely full but not impressed. The calzone had all the ingredients as described but they were not distributed evenly. In one bite, there was a ton of meat but not much in the rest of the calzone. The dinner salad was really good but again, could have used salt. Overall, I wasn’t impressed. It’s a good place to come for a family meal, parking is easy, and portions are good. I like bolder flavors so I don’t think this is the place for me.

sadly it’s the worst pizza it had no sauce or cheese on many of the slices and was so cold upon delivery, one pizza including delivery and tip for $ 29. Next time I would rather make ramen at home.

Their pizza is amazing. It’s our favorite delivery place, and we don’t generally order it from anyone else. Only question mark was the dining in experience — service was friendly, but a little slow. Overall though, amazing place.

My boyfriend and came from out of town and had a long day and decided to stay in at our hotel to watch the playoff game. We saw soprano’s and decided to order delivery. I’m usually skeptical of delivery bit thought why not. My boyfriend got the chicken artichoke pizza and I got the gnocchi gorganzala. Both were amazing. The lady who took my order was really polite and patient with me when I looked for my debit card. She informed me it would be 45 minutes for delivery which is typical for a Saturday night. It actually took about 30 minutes. The delivery driver was nice as well. The portion of my gnocchi was very generous(only was able to eat half) The food was piping hot and the even supplied plates, utensils and napkins which is helpful when you’re in a hotel and don’t have easy access to those accommodations I’d recommend them to anyone, it was a very pleasant experience(even though it was delivery)

Excellent authentic Italian food at reasonable prices in a clean and open setting. Favorite dish is the killer tomato and mozzarella salad: Cool, fresh and super flavorful. Highlight of your visit will be the excellent service and great attitude of the servers. You WON’T be disappointed for sure: Soprano’s is truly a North Ballard hidden gem!

This place serves huge portions so i bumped it up to four stars. The salads need to be chopped in more bite sized pieces because red onion chunks is kind of bitter. Calzones are popular and cheese/pasta lovers would love this place. I do think their marinara sauce is great– fresh and homemade it seems and the greek items are great if you want more options. Huge menu.

I ordered delivery from this place and it was awesome! The Lachlan and Leo was amazing with the sunflower seeds on top. Also, the Marshall Polo had really sizable chunks of chicken! But the best part was the crust. It was soft and chewy with the right amount of tug with each bite. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars is because when I called in my order the lady working the phones seemed to hate her life and not want to be there. Zero thank you’s or any sort of pleasantries. But I’ll still order from there for sure because the pizza is SOGOOD!
