This place sucks! Every time I try to get a coffee here it takes the girl a ridiculous amount of time to make a coffee no matter how many guests are there(most of the time none since this place is so terrible) even if it is just a drip(and they don’t let you put your own cream. In addition whomever is making the coffee acts like I’m somehow putting them out just to do their job. I live in walking distance and today I went in to get a coffee at 12:37 and the girl told me she had just closed up. Their hours say 2:30 and there was a guy hanging out there whom I presumed to be her boyfriend and seemingly the only reason she was too inconvenienced to get me a coffee. Management needs to take a serious look at how they are running(or Not running) their establishment.

Drove thru on a Sunday morning before starting my day. I was actually pulling into Starbucks when my girlfriend pointed out this independent stand. I typically prefer to support local businesses instead of Starbucks The girl who helped me was helpful and seemed to know coffee. I ordered an americano and she made it perfectly A lot of times with these stands they employ young girls who are cute — only. The girl who helped me didn’t burn my shots, added the perfect amount of Carmel, and even asked how much cream I like. All signs of coffee knowledge. I wish I was from the area because this would a definitely be my morning coffee joint. Instead — I’ll come in before my Sunday pedicures. PL nails across the street is the best and now I have the perfect coffee to get before hand. I just hope all their employees are as knowledgable and friendly as the girl I had this morning.

I love coffee, supporting local businesses, and exploring the neighborhood. Going here satisfied all 3, and I was really excited that they had white coffee(which is increasing in availability, but still not at every coffee place). It’s small inside, with only a couple of tables– but you don’t have to go inside to figure out that: P It’s cozy, and definitely has a neighborhood feel, much different the vibe at generic Starbucks. However, I only really consume coffee when I’m trying to study, and i would not recommend this place as an environment for quality studying due to lack of space, their hours, and the background noise(sorry, this is more my problem than this place specifically). Otherwise, it’s a nice place to grab coffee on the go or stay and linger on a slow morning.

When I was working, I used to use the drive through window about once a week. Now that I’m retired I drive over for breakfast two or three times a week. The lattes are *so* much better than the big chains, the bagels are toasted up to perfection, and the staff is so friendly. I absolutely love it that folks bring their kids and their dogs.

If you want an amazing cup of coffee with the best and friendless people, you MUST go to the treehouse. They have a great selection of coffees from my favorite, the Wiley white coffee(extra caffeinated), to one the best locally roasted drip coffees(Zokka). They don’t just push a button(Tully’s) and/or burn your coffee(Starbucks) they masterfully concoct your favorite coffee, with a wide variety of flavors to add if you so desire. AND they have a great selection of eats too, from perfectly crafted breakfast sammies to amazing lunch salads. If you are in the area, DON’T GOTOSTARBUCKS, YOUMUST! come visit the treehouse! Plus I love the punch cards, that reward there loyal customers. ALSO, they are so personal with their loyal customers, they even know the coffee I want, they just ask what flavor I’d like that day! Sometimes there is a slight wait, but it’s ALWAYS worth it!# Tip well, they are hard working folks! :-) :-)

The Treehouse Coffee Company is in a little square shingled-roofed wooden shack fronting right on fairly busy 15th Avenue NE. There are a perhaps four or five parking spaces on the south side and very little room for cars out in front. I didn’t notice whether there was other parking on other sides of the building. The building looks like it could be squatting somewhere in the trees as a hideout for somebody like the Barefoot Bandit – it ain’t much and the exterior is not particularly well kept up. Walk in through the battered front door and you’ll see that the door jamb and frame is covered with peeling paint. The luxury continues with a dirty looking Masonite floor nailed to the floor joists with all the nail heads visible. It needed sweeping. There are perhaps six or seven card table-sized table available. It was cold when I came in and there was an oscillating space heating sitting next to the table I chose and intermittently blowing a little warm air on me. I got there at prime coffee time, 10:30 am on a Monday and there were two people already seated. Next to my table there was a multi-shelf bookcase with a handful of books off the sort that would remain forever unsold in a second hand book store. But then I walked up to the counter attended by a lone barista and ordered. And now I’ll bet you are waiting for the big surprise. Here it is: I ordered a 16 oz cappuccino and a blue berry scone. The coffee was not particular hot and had neither distinctive flavor nor character. I had asked for the scone be heated, but the barista got busy with a drive-up customer, so I had to remind her. When I got it, I sat down and looked around for the newspaper. The barista told me that someone had taken it. But there WAS a copy of The Wall Street Journal ! Apparently a favorite of their many investment banker customers who were invisible at that moment. Oh, well. I still had the scone. It tasted like it had been left over from the day before or had maybe lived in the freezer too long. The barista was very nice, but I finished my coffee and left. I don’t intend to come back. Maybe some of the neighbors think the place is charming and«authentic» or something — a word Seattle’s elite likes to sling around. But shabby is shabby. Sorry.

Decided to check out this place after over a 1.5 years of living 3 min from there. Coffee was good. Beans didn’t taste burned like Starbucks. The breakfast sandwich(breakfast croissant with egg, cheddar cheese and bacon) was okay wasn’t to my liking. Ladies were sweet. I’d go again for coffee.

This small café has an ultra cozy, inviting atmosphere. It was like walking into the living room of a neighbor’s house, and the neighbor does pottery and listens to npr. I ordered an iced soy latte and it was top tier. The only thing is they close pretty early in the day.

A charming little hut that serves Zoka coffee and good things to eat. What makes a croissant breakfast sandwich so memorable that I think about it on an almost daily basis? The perfect ratio of fluffy egg, cheese, and turkey served at just the right temperature for a melt-in-your-mouth taste sensation. You can also use the drive-thru if you want to quickly be on your way. I’ve received very warm service every time I visited and there is indoor and outdoor seating.

When I think neighborhood coffee house, this is exactly what comes to mind. So many coffeehouses try to make some place where you get your coffee and run, with little thought to a good place to spend an hour reading. Treehouse has several really comfortable places to sit and hang out and the staff are so friendly that it feels like home quickly. Good coffee, really friendly staff, and a great environment; what more do you want in a coffeehouse?

What a cute little place for coffee! It’s a small café with indoor and outdoor seating that is perfect for reading a book and enjoying your coffee on a nice day. It’s only a few minutes walk away from my apartment which is perfect if I need my coffee fix. They also have free wifi and a drive thru. They serve Zoka coffee which is higher quality and delicious! My only complaint is that the prices of their coffee is a little bit more expensive than most places(around 50 cents more). Since it looks like it’s a locally owned coffee shop, I’m more than willing to spend a bit more on decent coffee and give their business my support. Remember to ask for a stamp card!

I go here all the time and 9 times out of ten I’m satisfied with what I get. Once I got a bagel sandwich with egg, cheese, and ham I think and thought the quality was good it wasn’t to my taste. The girls are very nice but sometimes, when they are really busy you can tell they have a hard time prioritizing what to do first. Now for the good: they make delicious salads fresh to order, chopping the lettuce and all the veggies right in front of you. I’ve been pretty much living off their food. It’s a kid friendly place and I’m happy I live close by. Oh, and the coffee is delicious, whether I get it iced or hot! I would definitely recommend this place.

Treehouse Coffee is really good. They serve Zoka and it’s delicious. I really like the atmosphere of the coffee shop. They have indoor and outdoor seating and it gets packed in here on the weekends! Lattes can be a bit inconsistent with the foam but are usually very good. The espresso is great and a tall Americano(my normal order) is $ 2.25 with tax. Pretty good. I’m happy they have pumpkin spice flavor all year round! Their tall drinks come with two shots standard so that is nice. With that considered, their prices are about right. The employees are really friendly. I’ll be back again and again!

Got to visit Treehouse today while waiting for my car to be repaired down the street. Was pleased to see they carry BOTH Oregon and Morning Glory Chai! Amazing smells wafted from the kitchen too — bacon belgian waffle, anyone? :) Great coffee, too, and if you’re in a hurry, they have a drive through! :D Great girls working there, seem to know their clientele by name, which is such a nice touch. :) Stop by, snag a cup of something tasty, have a sammich or something sweet from their breakfast/lunch menu, and take a seat to feel what a real coffee house should feel like. It’s like family — even on your first visit. :)

I travel all over Seattle and all the surrounding neighbordhoods and so I either have the advantage or disavantage depending on the way you look at it, trying lots of different little tucked away places for coffee and food. Everybody can have an off day, so untill you try a place several times, you really can give a true rating in my opinion. All the staff at Treehouse are always the most up-beat and friendly people. I drink cappuccino and they are pretty consistently great, they understand about wet or dry, and if you truly are disappointed with somehting. they’ll do it over with a smile. I love their sandwhichs, and frankly I’m addited to the brownies, exept when I have a one of the homemade sones. Its all good at the Treehouse.

I love this place. Great coffee, great chicken sandwiches and the people who work their are very friendly. Whenever I go there they remember what coffee I drink. I have always felt welcome there. I have not tried their breakfast yet, but I am sure it’s great. Also the owner is soo nice. I have been looking for a job and the owner checked if they were hiring at the clinic next door for me. Now that is going above and beyond customer service.

A review had to be written to address just how horrible their espresso is. I was just there and left 90% of my cappuccino sitting at my table. It was that undrinkable. A sudsy disaster sitting atop a near boiling watery mess. I want to support this type of small café, but I’m sorry you have to do it better. Otherwise I’m better off making it myself or worse going to Starbucks. This is Seattle for crying out loud, it should be reasonable to expect that the baristas have some idea how to make coffee. I don’t review a lot and usually try to keep them on the positive side, I just felt this place needed to taken down a few notches after such a lousy drink. I’d give them 1 star, but they were at least nice.

Delicious coffee in a small local coffee shop near my home. Usually I order americanos as I hate how sweet some coffee chains(*cough* STARBUCKS *cough*) make lattes, when in my personal opinion, they should be UNSWEETENED prior. I took a risk, and ordered a vanilla latte, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was the perfect amount of sweetness, not strong enough to overpower the aroma of the coffee, yet the taste was still there. And they gave me a free chocolate covered coffee bean. I think I’ll head there daily now.

Came here for the first time which is very surprising as I live very close! I have been looking for an espresso stand closer to my place then the oft-busy Starbucks in Lake City. I found myself driving up to this little shack. I ordered an Iced Tall skinny vanilla latte and a Grande mocha. The folks making my drink/taking my money were very friendly and bright. I received my drinks in a very short time and they tasted splendid. Quick service, great drinks, close to my house is always 5⁄5 in my book. Come here if you want good coffee!
