I love Via Vadi! Always friendly staff and great coffee. Egg muffins and pastries are also amazing. Definitely above average good for a café. About the same price as any café in Seattle. Every time I go, the coffee house is full of happy people.

We stopped here for coffee and treat one Saturday morning.
The cinnamon scone was delicious, moist and flavorful. The sticky bun was also tasty and had a nice amount of sticky to the bready part.
The coffee was pretty tasty as well and the barista was friendly.

Fun, coffee shop in the south park neighborhood, and only 3 minutes from my shop in Georgetown. The coffee is great, and the pastries are awesome. The pastries are baked fresh in house each morning by the family that owns the shop, and also owns the Neapolitan pizzeria in the same building. The girls are lively and fun. Parking is simple. You cannot ask for more in a great neighborhood coffee and pastry shop.

Nothing but the best morning (or afternoon) conversation in this little South Park treasure. Make sure you get a sticky bun or something from the pastry cabinet. The scones are the best.
Enjoy Saturday morning pizza from the adjoining pizza place!

Found this place while waiting to pick up a friend from the gym. Great little coffee shop! Barista was very friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed and inviting. The other customers, who appeared to be regulars, were also friendly and even invited me to sit and hang out a while. It’s a small place, but cozy with a couple tables to sit at. Nice assortment of pastries baked in-​house and there is homemade pizza on Saturdays. I had the pizza and it tasted great (it was a deep dish, thick crust style pizza with pepperoni). Good pricing. I would go back again next time I’m in this area.

Excellent coffee with fun friendly service! Always a smile on Maria’s face when you walk in the door. The conversation is always fun and includes everyone from all different walks of life! The pastries are homemade each day fresh and out of this world delicious! Basically THEY ROCK the whole place! In this day and age where customer service is lacking this small business is old school!

Absolutely love the coffee and baked goods a long with the baristas. It’s a wonderful feeling walking into a coffee shop and being greeted with a smile and a friendly hello. They’re always very generous. For example this morning I ordered a cinnamon roll and without noticing she had put a second one in there for the price of one! The coffee is consistent and very yummy. The prices are also very reasonable. Absolutely love the attached pizza place. We eat there quite often and the service is always good.

Just changed their hours recently, pretty sure they close at 2:30pm now but have a pastry happy hour from 1pm-​close? I love their bagels and the homemade biscuits that always have different ingredients like cheddar, bacon and green onion or chive, ham and mozzarella! So so so very good, I love them.
Napoli’s pizza is in the same building and I believe they’re all family running both businesses. We order from Napoli’s for work parties, etc.
Never a let down, love you guys :) keep it up!

South Park has some real gems and this is one of them. Genuine homemade pastries fresh every morning that can’t be beat, incredibly friendly atmosphere, and a fine cup of coffee.
This is not a coffee shop to plug in your laptop and headphones, this is a place to set yourself down to chat with strangers about the neighborhood gossip over a tasty treat. One of the best spots in the neighborhood.

Came here because I had a job interview down south and didn’t want to sit in traffic. Always a little weary of neighborhoods I am unfamiliar with. It took two seconds of me walking through the door for people to start taking to me. This is a great friendly place where everyone knows each other. Not you usual Seattle vib. No lap tops, just good conversation and laughs. The coffee is excellent and the Pastries are baked on site daily. I had a delicious oatmeal cookie scone. Plus they have a parking lot (always a plus). The owner is an awesome Italian lady with plenty of personality.

I love this café. Its a treat to walk in, see people laughing and talking. The pastries are amazing the coffee is good. I take my son with me, he is 3 and learning how to behave in public and they have NEVER treated me poorly for having an at times rambunctious toddler.
The customers are friendly, the baristas are awesome and we look forward to every trip!

I work around the area, have gone here a few times to get coffee and I’m always disappointed that I don’t get the chance to stay a bit longer. Love the community vibe– very chill and the owners are incredibly friendly. I could never come here and just buy coffee though, their pastries are awesome!
Might HAVE to add that they’re next to Napoli’s. so you get your pizza & caffeine fix in the same place!

Trying out a coffeeshop relatively near work, and I had never been across the «channel» before, so this looked like a good place to start.
SUPER COZY shop. super friendly barista. Also noted that they were using Café D’Arte coffee, so I was excited for a tasty cup of coffee (as I’ve experienced with previous cups of joe).
Like I’ve posted previously, I was spoiled by drinking great coffee in Kona, HI, drinking only black coffee for close to a month. This latte was decent, but did not really taste the hazelnut. While it was not a bad latte, I had expected more from the coffees I had previously with Café D’Arte coffee.

Slow morning on a Saturday in November. I got an americano and a cannoli and Amy got a spicy mocha and a slice of cold pepperoni pizza square. She said the pizza looked a lot better last Sunday, but who doesn’t love cold pizza for a weekend breakfast? I couldn’t ask for anything more perfect than my americano with a splash of nog. $ 12 for all, including a cannoli for the Boston Terrier. Shh.

I disagree with the reviewer who was in here for the first time and was made to feel like an oddity, in that I’m a first-​timer, and I’ve never been made to feel more at home by both the owner/​barista and all the patrons. I came in for free wifi while I waited for another business to open, and over 2.5 hours of surfing the net, drinking, and enjoying the company of the regulars, felt right at home and totally welcomed. I’m not from this area of town and won’t likely be back much, but if I need a wifi connection and would love to feel at home and not like just another «customer,» I’ll go straight to Via Vadi. And though I’m not a gluten consumer, their pastries look beyond top notch.
If you want outstanding café drinks and pastries, and would love to experience «Cheers» in a café, this is your place.
