This is a review on food they prepared and supplied to another vendor. So it may not be indicative of food at their principal place of business. I purchased a Pesto breakfast sandwich from a coffee shop in White Center. Because I was rushing off to a second office, I requested the server to not unwrap and heat the sandwich(which they typically do); but that I would heat it myself later. This I did once I got to the other office. To be fair, the English muffin stood up well and so did the omelet. However, for a «Pesto» dish, well, there was no trace — or hint — of it in the sandwich. I read the sandwich wrapper to make sure(it said, «Pesto Omelet» — Eggs, Pesto, Cheddar, Tomato). Well, the namesake of the item was the missing part — or maybe there was a bit of pesto(1 or 2 drops) there and it was not obvious. It was a big disappointment as the prospect of having a bit of pesto sauce for breakfast was why I ordered it. By the way, I found the tomato; but no sign of pesto at all. I thought of going back to the coffee shop and complaining; but then I realized that the sandwich was pre-made; and by a different supplier than the coffee shop. I don’t really have anything else to add — other than, next time, please don’t forget the pesto — I hope this does not happen often. I’m not sure if it was just this sandwich or if there’s more to this pesto than meets the eye. It’s a simple enough ingredient and if it is there, it’s rather obvious. And of course, when I’m not happy with my breakfast food, I’m not happy with the rest of my day. I don’t know when I’ll take another chance on a Pesto breakfast sandwich without first seeing the product.
