Walgreens

This is a really nice Walgreens. They carry in the front Sedona tops and in the back down the middle row they have magnets, postcards, books, calendars, coffee cups, and shot glasses all with Sedona and/​or Arizona. Great place to get your gifts for family.
Staff was super friendly.

I was given an emergency insulin prescription at VA Cottonwood due to the fact I ran out one day before my appointment. I was told to fill it at either Walgreens or CVS. I unfortunately went to Walgreens who informed me it would be ready in an hour and a half which would have been one o’clock. I decided to go grab a leasurly lunch. While at lunch I received a call telling me my script would be delayed. I went home to wait for them to call me. At 4;00 when I was still waiting I decided to go online and see what the holdup was. They informed me They did not receive instruction from the doctor and they were waiting for a fax from him??? I said this was BS it’s freaken insulin. they informed me it was not BS That is what the Cottonwood branch told them. I immediately called the Walgreens Store Pharmacy and she informed me that they were out of stock and they don’t have any at any other close Walgreens. Lie #3. I called CVS and explained what happened and to see if they would bee able to help me. They called Walgreens got the script and filled it immediately. Thank You CVS. IOne thing I can not deal with is incompetence and liers The reason I wouldn’t vote for OBAMA. (sorry i had to get that in). But as far as I am concerned I will never step foot in Walgreen again. Can you blame me?

For a chain drug store, this is as good as any. This Walgren’s reminds me a bit of the old Thrifty Drug Store chain that dotted So Cal corners for so many years. The only thing missing is an ice cream counter and coffee shop!
We use the pharmacy here almost exclusively. The pharmacist and staff are knowledgeable and helpful although I dislike it when they talk through the drive thru drawer instead of using the intercom.
It’s convenient, clean, well organized and pleasant. Good for lots of items like cosmetics, hair care supplies, medical and over the counter drugs and vitamins. Their generic products are often on sale and cost significantly less than name brands.
They have a pretty good offering of seasonal items for Christmas, Halloween, Easter, etc. and good buys can be found when they go on clearance.
Their liquor and wine department is average but has a better offering of different sizes bottles than the local grocery store liquor departments. Prices are slightly higher save for sale items.
Nice people work here. Helpful and friendly. Recommended.

This is a pretty clean Walgreens. It’s really big and has everything you might have forgotten on your trip to Sedona. However you are going to be paying more than you would have at say Target in your hometown. Priciest toothbrushes I think I’ve ever bought.

Clean & consistent. There are a few items sold at this Walgreens that you can only get here. If the lines are becoming long, then feel free to take your purchases to the photo, pharmacy & the liquor register to expedite. I have never been told no.

This is a huge Walgreens, with a prescription drive-​through window on the side.
We dropped in for some necessary supplies, and discovered that prices are about the same as they were in San Francisco. So much for that cost-​of-​living myth!
