Excellent donuts. This is my stop of choice when I bring donuts to work, and they constantly get rave reviews. I’ve felt bad on a few times where someone had brought in Dunkin’ Donuts on the same day, as the comparison is laughable. As others have said, the only problem with Carlson’s is that they run out of variety quickly, due to demand, and only take cash, due to card fees. Just aim to get there around 7:30.

I come to Carlson’s at least once a week to grab donuts for my kids, they love how tasty Carlson’s Donuts are always as promised and always fresh!

We stopped one Saturday morning. The donuts were pretty fresh but the selection was not what I expected.

FRESH, HOMEMADE donuts! Don’t let the exterior fool you, this place is a hidden gem. There’s something about this crispy exterior jelly stick that makes me coming back!

No need to provide all the details that others have already put forth, but Carlson’s is always a welcome treat when I stop in. It’s real simple: get there before 830 am or they might be sold out. Take them to work, church, home, or other gathering and everyone will love you. All the donuts are super fresh and of excellent quality. These guys are pros and everyone loves them. Don’t miss out on stopping in at least once in your life if you live in the area. Cash only!

**YOUMUSTORDERATLEAST ½ A DOZENOFPOTATODONUTS!!!** The potato donuts kinda resemble a fritter… the least attractive cousin of the glazed donut. I don’t know what makes it a potato donut, but it is simply glazed. So don’t bother getting actual glazed donuts… Potato donuts will be your new bestie. They’re so airy & delicious… and every bite here & there, you will get the tiniest taste of potato chips in your mouth… OMG! I talked with the manager/baker, she’s the NICEST lady I’ve ever met(at 6 in the morning)!! She told me the ideal time to get here so you’d still have all the options of donuts is by 7:30am! The potato donuts are done by 6:30am! So anytime between 6:30am — 7:30am is your best bet for all the options of FRESH, DELICIOUS, &CHEAP donuts from the BEST donut shop around. I won’t even be mad that I have to wake up at 6am to get donuts, that’s the struggle of a foodie — right?! But! If you can’t arrive before the birds start chirping, I advise you to call the bakery & reserve the donuts you want! This is critical when you can’t come during prime donut time! I’ll also definitely recommend(my top faves): chocolate French cruller, & blueberry! They have several other options, I haven’t tried them all… but I haven’t had a donut I didn’t like. I promise that potato donuts will change your life, it sure changed mine.

First off, the donuts are amazing. Our family goes often and love all the options they have when you go early! The raspberry cake donut is amazing with coffee. Second off, they are amazing people, such good customer service and every time I bring my young daughter in they always send her out with a bag of her own filled with donut holes. Great donuts and great service, a must if you live in the area!

How I love Carlson’s! There is just something about small businesses that really touch my heart. Carlson’s is a perfect example. They have the best donuts. If you can get there early enough you can be picky and choose the ones you want but if you’re late, like me today, you get what’s left lol. I found out today that the owner has been away visiting his family in Thailand for a month and recently reopened the shop back up. I got something better than my French cruller today, I received delightful stories of his family and culture of Thailand. It was such a delight to stand there and talk with him. Plus he threw in a free donut which I’m going to pass on and delight someone else’s day with.

Excellent donuts! I enjoyed the apple fritter. It was just right: not too sweet and it was light and not greasy. I’ll be back for more

Deliciously delicious! My dozen didn’t make it off the parking lot before I had eaten one. My 1st visit but definitely not my last. Glad I found them.

I’ve never been here, but have had their donuts several times by a co-worker. These donuts are really good. I’d like to try more flavors sometime, but worry i’m going to gain too much weight. the cake donuts are not too dense, and the raised donuts have a good chew to them. Really good donuts. It’s hard to choose between this place and Keller’s for a favorite place to get a donut!

… I mean they were OK! Folks in this area of town rave about this place so maybe I was expecting it to be beyond awesome but they were simply ok. They weren’t overly sugary which was a plus to me. I find it completely mind boggling why a business in 2015 would not accept credit card. Yes, it will cost them a little bit but it also prevents me from stopping by on my way to work to purchase the office donuts. Instead, I just go to Dunkin Donuts were my card is accepted. Maybe they are loosing a good deal of business. Because I know I am not the only person in the area that doesn’t care paper and only plastic.

I had an amazing plain donut from Carlson’s today courtesy of a colleague who brought in a box… it was soft and had the perfect chewy consistency. It also wasn’t too sweet. Like other reviewers say, Dunkin and Krispy Kreme don’t even come close!

This donut shop is the best in town! Their donuts are so light and fluffy, they’re perfect. My family and I ventured on over for National Donut Day(of course) and the place was packed. It was nearly 7am and there were only a few donuts left! Unfortunately, they don’t continue making donuts throughout the day so definitely make sure to get there early.

If you haven’t tried this place, you must ASAP! Light, fresh and airy! Definitely one of a kind. Just a heads up, they only accept cash and have limited hours of 5am-11am. I got my National Donut Day fix now

We’ve been getting 2 dozen donuts from this place almost every day for years and the donuts always get annihilated at work. It’s a miracle actually that they even survive the car ride to work in the morning! They are infinitely better than Dunkin’. The guy that works there is super friendly and quick and you’ll be in and out in no time. Highly recommend!

Pretty good stuff, not going to ding them really for being cash only but that’s inconvenient if you didn’t know it in advance. Funny regulars were stopping in to get the goods while I was there. Great small shop atmosphere. The donuts were good, not the best I’ve ever had but above average. I usually do a measure based on a sour cream and a cruller. The sour cream here had a bit of crunch on the outside and a soft crumbly inside, the cruller was super soft and airy.
