Long John Silver’s

Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. One of the worst «meals» I have ever eaten.
I had not eaten here in years so I thought for a change I’d give it a try. I did not go through at an ‘off’ hour, it was dinner time.
Yes, it’s fast food and I didn’t wait long for it but it was nothing more than tasteless, battered and greasy blobs. The breading made it look like a sizable piece of fish. It was not and when I dug through all that thick greasy breading it was a little piece of tough fish that didn’t even taste like fish. Onion rings were the same thing. Nothing but batter and grease so thick I couldn’t taste the onion so I peeled all that off and had a faint taste of onion because the taste of grease overpowered the onion.
Such a horrible meal I threw most of it in the trash. How does a company sell something this nasty and charge money for it? Had I dined in I would have asked for a refund.
Rarely do I drink soft drinks, but I decided I’d have a root beer. It was nothing but a cup of carbonated water that had a hint of root beer flavor.
Never again for me.

I’ll go here to get my LJS fix when needed. Yes it is slow, so for my suggestion go inside and order that way you don’t waste your gas.
But I’ve never had any other problems with this facility.

Certainly takes the fast out of fast-​food. Been waiting 15 minutes in drive thru and this is by no means a lunch or dinner rush. The veggie medley was luke-​warm at best but the salmon was a generous portion, hot and wasn’t overly salted.

It is what it is. No worse, no better.
