Denny’s

My mom and I arrived at Sepulveda/​Burbank Denny’s at approximately 2:20 pm of June 13, 2016. It was slow
business, no hostess to welcome us. Just the servers. You will be lucky if they even see you and say Welcome to Denny’s.
I also been observing the employees there and they don’t seem welcoming.
The food is alright. Wasn’t able to finish the steak I ordered because it’s either too much fat or the texture is not to my liking.
The Pancakes is good. One thing funny though is that the manager spoke with the cook and told him to stop serving pancakes because they are running out of pancakes.
In my opinion, the workers here need a retraining and better management.
Still might come back. They probably just not having a good day and we probably just came in the wrong time.

$ 4 breakfast of eggs, sausage, and pancakes. It’s the Grand Slam but it’s on the Value Menu not the regular menu.
The server I’ve had twice is awesome. Super nice and attentive. Another server I had was mediocre but whatever.
I’ve also ordered takeout which was good and cheap.

The service was good, but when our beer was delivered the mug was chipped and they did apologize but not replace until the second drink. Food was great! Service was good. The parking is shared with the Best Western Plus Carriage Inn. I would go back, but not my first choice.

Went in to grab a quick bite before heading back out of town. Over an hour later, food was never put in because ticket «got lost»… no apology until after complaining to the manager. The server walked away mid conversation. Food came out wrong. Not one person asked if we wanted more coffee or refills. We walked out and didn’t eat.

Usally Denny’s would be a descent place to eat, but this Denny’s by far was the worst one and not by the service. I ordered a grand slam. My scrambled eggs came out like rubber my family members did not even want to touch them. My pancakes came out crispy. Which normally pancakes are suppose to be warm and fluffy my knife would barley cut them. The one decent thing I did have was the oatmeal. This Denny’s is connected to a motel to maybe they are always rushing.

This has to be by far the worse fucking Denny’s I’ve ever came too!!! I ordered the bacon sampler and they gave me someone else’s bacon! It tasted like syrup!!! And hot sauce the waiter was horrible the front desk lady was horrible the manger no comment! NEVER AGAIN!

I’m glad I tried the 4 $ biscuits and gravy! It was good and big portion, you can’t beat that. Unlike others I’ve tried. .This wasn’t salty, very convenient, close to home, and they really up their game this time… great service and fast!

Have been coming to this Denny’s for years on and off and I have never had bad service nor a bad meal, they are quick servers always great when you are in a rush.

I’m satisfied, way much better than Sherman way and sepulvida. Clean looking place and a very sweet waitress. I love how my meal was served

The food was gross. All 4 of the orders were pathetic and should barely be called food. On top of that, it took 25 min to place an over the phone because someone didn’t know what a BLT was! Horrible place and their fries stuck!

I just went here tonight with a friend and it was possibly the WORST experience ever. Our waitress, Sidonna, had the most sour attitude and inattentive service. I’m guessing she was having an off day. The place was completely dead and it literally felt like it took forever to get any sort of service after we got our orders. Long story short, I felt that she gave off a vibe that she didn’t want to even be there. To make matters worse when my friend and I went to pay she asked in the most rudest manner, «So, you gonna give me a tip?» What a joke. Never coming back here again. If you must go here avoid her AT ALL COSTS.

I came here the other night when plans abruptly changed. I developed quite an appetite, so I came here to have a hearty meal. I walked in, and it took about 5 minutes to be seated. From there, it took another 15 minutes to put my order through. Another 15 to get my food. The check came out pretty fast.
The place was not too packed. In fact, there was one party of 7 people, a group of 3 people, and there was me. The waitress was overstretched as far as work, as she was both seating people and tending to all of us. This was all while one worker was napping on one of the booths. I don’t know who manages this place, but they should be aware that some people are slacking.
The food was mediocre. I ended up ordering a «build your own slam» with: egg whites, turkey bacon, apple chicken sausage, and wheat pancakes. Denny’s serves as a quick stop for food, but I wouldn’t return to this one. I hope they up their game.

When it comes to Sunday brunch with family, Denny’s will always be first on my list. For years I have been having brunch here, and I always get the best service and fresh food. It can be a salad, eggs, or pancakes, Denny’s is the best.
I must be honest and admit that during the past few months I needed to send few dishes back into the kitchen, but overall they are great. There is a reason why they have so many locations, and why they remain open for so many years.

This joint is not open ²⁴⁄₇ as advertised. False advertising.
For that I give one star.
Don’t lie to me peeps!!!

Not a usual Denny’s guy but did happen to eat breakfast in this Denny’s. The small parking lot is shared with a motel so it is a bit tricky to park. The inside of this place seemed extra fresh and clean for some reason. It was about half full but seems really inviting.
We had 6 people with us and everyone ordered something different. The waiter was cool and patient. He had no problem breaking up the bill for us. The food arrived promptly and was made with care. The chefs did a good job.
Respect given where respect due. Thanks Denny’s.

It felt like I was back home in Alaska in negative degree weather. The temperature was freezing in here. Not sure why they would have it like that. We were in and out within 60 minutes because we were so cold. Didn’t even enjoy my strawberry shake. I live in SoCal and I enjoy having a shake here and there but the fact that it’s hot outside than FREEZING inside to where I couldn’t enjoy a shake was just upsetting. I got a chicken quesadilla and it wasn’t worth it. I will not recommend that. It was filled with veggies and thick chicken pieces so it was hard to take a bite. I had to cut up my quesadilla like a little child. My mom had the talipia and it was dry. The mango lemonade was extremely tangy.

Shut down for cockroaches and rats

Well it was late and of course the only place open was dennys, so my buddy and I came here.
It wasn’t busy at all but it was probably the worst service I’ve even had.
First of all as we walked in, there were no signs that said seat yourself. So we stood there for 5 minutes before any employee even acknowledged us… once we were seated it too approximately another 10 minutes to even take our drink order…
when we finally did get our food 30 minutes later.
Only thing done right was my food
. it was actually cooked well and tasted as I expected.
We received more help and service from the gentleman cleaning the tables around us than our own waitress.
The only thing keeping me from rating 2 stars was that the food was satisfying.
Next time it’s late and I’m hungry I’d go to a supermarket and pick myself up something.

The staff most the time is nice. This place would of been a 4 star but I just can not give them this.
Because of there shitty bathroom cleaning practices!
If not for the nice staff this place for sure be a 1 star.
They need to keep there bathrooms clean. :-(

It’s your typical Denny’s location. I did not come here to eat because (1) I am gluten-​fre and (2) I am not sure if they have healthy food on the menu.
I can say that their men’s restroom is very clean and well ventilated. Even though I only went #1 here, I liked the fact that it did not smell like someone dropped a fecal-​bomb in there.
The location is right off the freeway, so it is easy to find and a good place to stop by if you like Denny’s food and don’t want to wander too far from the freeway.
